Circular RNAs(circRNAs)are ideal biomarkers of oral squamous cell carcinoma(OSCC)because of their highly stable closed-loop structure,and they can act as microRNA(miRNA)sponges to regulate OSCC *** analyzing clinical samples,we identified circCPNE1,a dysregulated circRNA in OSCC,and its expression level was negatively correlated with the clinical stage of OSCC ***-of-function assays revealed the tumor-suppressive effect of circCPNE1,which was then identified as a miR-330-3p ***-330-3p was recognized as a tumor promoter in multiple studies,consistent with our finding that it could promote the proliferation,migration,and invasion of OSCC *** results indicated that selective inhibition of miR-330-3p could be an effective strategy to inhibit OSCC ***,we designed cationic polylysine-cisplatin prodrugs to deliver antagomiR-330-3p(a miRNA inhibitory analog)via electrostatic interactions to form PP@miR nanoparticles(NPs).Paratumoral administration results revealed that PP@miR NPs effectively inhibited subcutaneous tumor progression and achieved partial tumor elimination(2/5),which confirmed the critical role of miR-330-3p in OSCC *** findings provide a new perspective for the development of OSCC treatments.

Lipogenesis is often highly upregulated in breast cancer brain metastases to adapt to intracranial low lipid *** inhibitors hold therapeutic potential but their intra-tumoral distribution is often blocked by the blood-tumor barrier(BTB).BTB activates its Wnt signaling to maintain barrier properties,e.g.,Mfsd2a-mediated BTB low ***,we reported vCAM-1-targeting nano-wogonin(W@v-NPs)as an adjuvant of nano-orlistat(O@v-NPs)to intensify drug delivery and inhibit lipogenesis of brain metastases.W@v-NPs were proven to be able to inactivate BTB Wnt signaling,downregulate BTB Mfsd2a,accelerate BTB vesicular transport,and enhance tumor accumulation of O@*** the ability to specifically kill cancer cells in a lipid-deprived environment with IC_(50) at 48 ng/mL,W@v-NPs plus O@v-NPs inhibited the progression of brain metastases with prolonged survival of model *** combination did not induce brain edema,cognitive impairment,and systemic toxicity in healthy *** Wnt signaling could safely modulate the BTB to improve drug delivery and metabolic therapy against brain metastases.

Objective The study aimed to explore the association between the site of interictal epileptic discharges(IEDs)on postoperative electroencephalogram(EEG)and seizure recurrence after antiepileptic drug(AED)*** study hypothesizes that the concordance of IED sites with surgical sites indicates incomplete resection of epileptic focus,while non-concordance of IED sites with surgical sites indicates postoperative changes or cortical *** former has a higher risk of seizure *** We retrospectively analyzed the postoperative EEG pattern of 182 consecutive children who underwent resection *** identify the risk factors for seizure recurrence,we compared the attributes of seizure recurred and seizure-free groups by univariate and multivariate *** tapering was standardized,involving a 25% reduction in the dose of a single type of AED every 2 weeks,independent of the presurgical AED *** We attempted AED withdrawal in 116(63.7%)***-eight(24.1%)children experienced seizure recurrence during or after AED withdrawal.A greater number of AEDs used at the time of surgery(p=0.005),incomplete resection(p=0.001),and presence of IED on postoperative EEG(p=0.011)are predictors of *** resectionand seizure recurrence after AED withdrawal were related to the presence of IED on the EEG,but not to the concordance of IED with surgical *** For children with abnormal EEG,the decision to discontinue AED should be made more cautiously,regardless of the relative location of the discharge site and the surgical site.

Soil salinity has a major impact on rice seed germination,severely limiting rice ***,a rice germination defective mutant under salt stress(gdss)was identified by using chemical *** GDSS gene was detected via MutMap and shown to encode potassium transporter *** analysis of complementation and mutant lines demonstrated that OsHAK9 was an essential regulator responsible for seed germination under salt ***9 is highly expressed in germinating seed *** contents and non-invasive micro-test technology results showed that OsHAK9 restricted K^(+)efflux in salt-exposed germinating seeds for the balance of K^(+)/Na^(+).Disruption of OsHAK9 significantly reduced gibberellin 4(GA4)levels,and the germination defective phenotype of oshak9a was partly rescued by exogenous GA_(3)treatment under salt *** sequencing(RNA-seq)and real-time quantitative polymerase chain reaction analysis demonstrated that the disruption of OsHAK9 improved the GA-deactivated gene OsGA2ox7 expression in germinating seeds under salt stress,and the expression of OsGA2ox7 was significantly inhibited by salt *** mutants of OsGA2ox7 created using clustered,regularly interspaced,short palindromic repeat(CRISPR)/CRISPR-associated nuclease 9 approach displayed a dramatically increased seed germination ability under salt ***,our results highlight that OsHAK9 regulates seed germination performance under salt stress involving preventing GA degradation by mediating OsGA2ox7,which provides a novel clue about the relationship between GA and OsHAKs in rice.

La_(2)NiO_(4)has a similar structure to La_(2)CuO_(4)and was proposed as a high-temperature superconductor based on magnetic-moment measurements decades ***,with the exception for electrical resistance drop behavior of about 4 orders of magnitude that is claimed to originate from the superconductivity ever observed in Sr-doped La_(N)iO_(4),most electrical data reported to date in La_(N)iO_(4)system exhibit a trivial insulating ground ***,we definitively identify the similar electrical resistance drop behavior of more than 3 orders of magnitude in La_(2)NiO_(4+δ).However,our extensive investigations reveal that this phenomenon is a novel insulatorto-metal transition,distinct from ***,compared to the weak magnetic-field effects,pressure can significantly suppress the transition and transform from the metallic to an insulating ground state,accompanied by an isostructural phase *** work not only elucidates the fundamental properties of the metallic conducting ground state in La_(N)iO_(4)+δ,but also critically challenges the notion of superconductivity in single-layer lanthanum nickelates.

针对电动汽车无线充电系统因偏移导致充电效率降低的实际问题,提出一种新型强抗偏移的恒流无线充电系统。首先,在磁耦合设计上,引入DDQD大解耦线圈有效减缓X、Y两方向偏移耦合系数衰减,通过与DDQ线圈的对比体现所提出的DDQD线圈在抗偏移方面的优越性。然后,在补偿拓扑设计上,通过DDQD线圈将随耦合系数呈不同变化趋势的LCC拓扑和LC拓扑进行串联,使输出功率变化平缓,进一步提高了系统的抗偏移能力,并且使系统具有恒流输出特性。最后,通过仿真实验验证了该方案的有效性,在磁耦合机构发生偏移时,减缓了无线充电系统的线圈耦合系数和传输效率的下降程度,具有一定的现实意义。

Methanol-to-olefins(MTO)process is one of the most critical pathways to produce low carbon ***,the reaction is driven by thermal catalysis,which inevitably needs to consume large amounts of fossil *** a new technique to substitute for the fuel burning is urgent for MTO process to improve the industry prospects and ***,we report a novel W_(18)O_(49)/Au/SAPO-34(W/Au/S),a multifunctional photothermal catalyst for the MTO reaction.A high methanol conversion was achieved under xenonum(Xe)lamp irradiation,yielding methyl ether(ME)and ethylene as the main *** optimized W/Au/S catalysts showed ethylene yield as high as 250μmol in 60 min,which was 2.5 times higher than that of Au/*** physiochemical characterization revealed that the SAPO-34 molecular sieves were surrounded by Au and W_(18)O_(49)nanoparticles,which exhibited a strong localized surface plasmon resonance excitation around 540 nm and light absorption beyond 500 *** multifunctional catalysts showed a strong photothermal effect,arising from the broadened light absorption of Au and W_(18)O_(49)nanoparticles,leading to a temperature as high as 250℃on the surface of the *** study showed that the superior ethylene selectivity of W/Au/S catalysts was attributed to the moderating acidic sites of W_(18)O_(49)for methanol dehydration to *** research may provide new insight for designing heterostructures to improve photo-to-chemical conversion performance and is expected to accelerate progress toward the excellent multifunctional photothermal catalysts with broad light absorption for methanol activation and C-C bond formation.
