Slope variation will significantly affect the characteristics of the wind field around a *** paper conducts a large-eddy simulation(LES)on an ideal 3D hill to study the impact of slope on wind field *** slopes ranging from 10°to 45°at 5°intervals are considered,which covers most conventional hill *** inflow turbulence for the LES is generated by adopting a modified generation method that combines the equilibrium boundary conditions with the Fluent inherent vortex method to improve the simulation *** time-averaged flow field and the instantaneous vortex structure under the eight slopes are comparatively *** accuracy of the present method is verified by comparison with experimental *** slope can affect both the mean and fluctuating wind flow fields around the 3D hill,especially on the hilltop and the leeward side,where a critical slope of 25°can be *** fluctuating wind speeds at the tops of steep hills(with slope angles beyond 25°)decrease with increasing slope,while the opposite phenomenon occurs on gentle *** increasing slope,the energy of the high-speed descending airflow is enhanced and pushes the separated flow closer to the hill surface,resulting in increased wind speed near the wall boundary on the leeward side and inhibiting the development of *** vortex shedding trajectory in the wake region becomes wider and longer,suppressing the growth of the mean wind near the wall boundary and enhancing the turbulence intensity.

The vertically integrated emission rate,centroid altitude,peak emission rate,and peak height of the hydroxyl(OH)airglow were calculated from Thermosphere Ionosphere Mesosphere Energetics and Dynamics(TIMED)/Sounding of the Atmosphere using Broadband Emission Radiometry(SABER)observations to study the seasonal and interannual variations in the intensity and location of the OH *** emission rate is inversely proportional to the height of the emission,with the semiannual oscillation dominating at low latitudes and the annual oscillation dominating at higher *** OH emission is modulated by the quasibiennial oscillation at the equator,and the quasibiennial oscillation signal is weak at other *** represented the vertical transport of atomic oxygen by using atomic oxygen concentrations obtained from a global atmospheric model,the Specified Dynamics Whole Atmosphere Community Climate Model with thermosphere and ionosphere eXtension *** with the amplitudes of the migrating diurnal tide(DW1)calculated from temperature data observed by TIMED/SABER,we found that both the vertical transport of atomic oxygen and DW1 amplitudes in the equatorial region exhibit semiannual oscillation and quasibiennial oscillation,which have a strong correlation with the variations in the amplitude and phase of semiannual oscillation and quasibiennial oscillation in OH *** is likely that the DW1 affects the vertical transport of atomic oxygen that is involved in the reaction to produce O3,thus affecting the OH *** analyzed the relationship between OH emission and solar activity by using the solar radio flux at 10.7 cm as a proxy for solar *** results showed that the OH emission is well correlated with solar activity,and the modulation of OH emission by solar activity has a significant latitudinal *** small correlation between emission height and solar activity indicates that solar activity modulates OH emission mainly thr

We present a lattice QCD determination of masses of the conjectured H-dibaryon,denoted as mH,at nine different temperatures:T/T_(c)=0.24,0.63,0.76,0.84,0.95,1.09,1.27,1.52,and *** masses of baryons N,Σ,Ξ,andΛat different temperatures were also *** simulations were performed on an anisotropic lattice with N_(f)=2+1 flavours of clover fermion at a quark mass corresponding to mπ=384(4)*** thermal ensembles were provided by the FASTSUM collaboration,whereas the zero temperature ensembles were provided by the Hadspec *** also calculated the spectral density of the correlation function of those *** spectral density distributions show a rich peak structure at the lowest temperature;at intermediate temperatures,the mass values of those particles obtained by the extrapolation method reflect a two-peak *** the spectral density for the octet baryon becomes smooth at T/T_(c)=1.27,1.52,and 1.90,the spectral density for the H-dibaryon becomes smooth at T/T_(c)=*** T/T_(c)=0.24,the mass difference of the H-dibaryon andΛpair,expressed asΔm=m_(H)−2m_(Λ),was estimated to beΔm=−14.6(6.2)Mev,which suggests the existence of a bound H-dibaryon state.

Thermal stress is an important reason of coal particle primary fragmentation,during which the role of pore structure is *** stress induced fragmentation experiments were conducted with low volatile coal/char particles,and the results show that the fragmentation severity enhances with increasing *** porous thermal stress models were developed with finite element method,and the influences of the pore shape,size,position and porosity on the thermal stress were *** maximum thermal stress inside particle increases with pore curvature,the pore position affects the thermal stress more significantly at the particle center and *** expectation of the maximum tensile thermal stress linearly increases with porosity,making the particles with higher porosity easier to fragment,contrary to the conclusion deduced from the devolatilization *** obtained results are valuable for the analysis of different thermal processes concerning the thermal stresses of the solid feedstocks.
