ⅢIn this study,the carbon quantum dots,which can emit sharp red light(R-CQDs)under optical excitation,were synthesized via simple heat treatment of wine *** features of the photoluminescence(PL)emission from R-CQDs in solutions with different p H values and with metal ions were *** intensity of the PL emission from R-CQDs depends sensitively on the p H values of the solutions with the ***,the p H-response of the PL intensity is reversible and can be enhanced linearly in the p H value range from 4 to 12,indicating that the R-CQDs can be applied for the p H ***,the quench of the PL emission from R-CQDs can be observed when adding chromium(Ⅲ)ions into the solution with *** effect can be utilized for selective and quick detection of chromium(Ⅲ)ions in solutions simply via the standard PL *** interesting and important findings from this work can be applied to explore more practical applications of the CQDs prepared cheaply and easily.

Developing supersonic combustion models with efficiency,accuracy and practicality is important foundation to deeply understand the complex combustion processes in scramjet *** by efficiency and intuition,the flamelet-like models are widely used models in computational combustion ***,the supersonic combustion flow field has the nature of strong compressibility,multiple modality,and multiple scales,which poses a great challenge to the traditional flamelet-like models with fixed boundary conditions,and then the complex chemical reaction mechanisms that may face will impose additional computational *** this context,this paper reviews the flamelet-like models used in scramjet engines,and summarizes prominent issues in the application practice,including modeling partially premixed combustion,defining progress variable,solving temperature efficiently,evaluating assumed Probability Density Function(PDF)models,and treating mixture fraction ***,possible prospects and directions of improvements are proposed and highlighted for the flamelet-like *** fully describe the physicochemical scenario and address the raised challenges,these improvements are dedicated to dealing with the compressibility,temperature rise,time-scales,species of interest,multi-inlet combustion,the progress variable definition,and the higher Mach number flight condition.

The daily sea surface temperature(SST)data from three kinds of different satellites of GMI,GOES and MODIS were applied to do the blend in the Southeast Pacific Ocean throughout the whole year of *** coverage rates of the SST of the blend result were improved highly and more stable throughout the whole year,compared with the result of the single satellite of GMI,GOES,and *** yearly average coverage rates of GMI,GOES,MODIS,and blend were 43%,48%,30%,and 76%,and their corresponding yearly average standard deviation(SD)were 4%,6%,7%,and 4%,*** the coverage rates of these three satellites were low from April to *** valid observation days calculated in the whole year over every grid were used to represent the spatial distribution patterns of the coverage *** spatial distribution patterns of coverage rates from GOES and MODIS were similar that their valid observation days were higher in the northwest area and lower in the south area,and those of GMI was contrary to the former *** ranges of valid observation day was from GOES,GMI,and MODIS were 0-364,6-254,and 9-231 d,*** the blend,all the observation day of every grid in the research region was enhanced(103-366 d).Especially the near shore and south area,and the minimum valid observation day increased largely from the single digits to hundreds digit.

Life forms affect beta-diversity patterns of larch forests in China

Beta-diversity reflects the spatial changes in community species composition which helps to understand how communities are assembled and biodiversity is formed and maintained. Larch(Larix) forests, which are coniferous forests widely distributed in the mountainous and plateau areas in North and Southwest China, are critical for maintaining the environmental conditions and species diversity. Few studies of larch forests have examined the beta-diversity and its constituent components(species turnover and nestedness-resultant components). Here, we used 483 larch forest plots to determine the total betadiversity and its components in different life forms(i.e., tree, shrub, and herb) of larch forests in China and to evaluate the main drivers that underlie this beta-diversity. We found that total betadiversity of larch forests was mainly dependent on the species turnover component. In all life forms,total beta-diversity and the species turnover component increased with increasing geographic, elevational, current climatic, and paleoclimatic distances. In contrast, the nestedness-resultant component decreased across these same distances. Geographic and environmental factors explained 20%-25% of total beta-diversity, 18%-27% of species turnover component, and 4%-16% of nestedness-resultant component. Larch forest types significantly affected total beta-diversity and species turnover component. Taken together, our results indicate that life forms affect beta-diversity patterns of larch forests in China, and that beta-diversity is driven by both niche differentiation and dispersal limitation. Our findings help to greatly understand the mechanisms of community assemblies of larch forests in China.

Mercury(Hg) could be microbially methylated to the bioaccumulative neurotoxin methylmercury(Me Hg), raising health concerns. Understanding the methylation of various Hg species is thus critical in predicting the Me Hg risk. Among the known Hg species, mercury sulfide(HgS) is the largest Hg reservoir in the lithosphere and has long been considered to be highly inert. However, with advances in the analytical methods of nanoparticles, HgS nanoparticles(HgS NPs) have recently been detected in various environmental matrices or organisms. Furthermore, pioneering laboratory studies have reported the high bioavailability of HgS NPs. The formation, presence, and transformation(e.g., methylation) of HgS NPs are intricately related to several environmental factors, especially dissolved organic matter(DOM). The complexity of the behavior of HgS NPs and the heterogeneity of DOM prevent us from comprehensively understanding and predicting the risk of HgS NPs. To reveal the role of HgS NPs in Hg biogeochemical cycling, research needs should focus on the following aspects: the formation pathways, the presence, and the environmental behaviors of HgS NPs impacted by the dominant influential factor of DOM. We thus summarized the latest progress in these aspects and proposed future research priorities, e.g., developing the detection techniques of HgS NPs and probing HgS NPs in various matrices, further exploring the interactions between DOM and HgS NPs. Besides, as most of the previous studies were conducted in laboratories, our current knowledge should be further refreshed through field observations, which would help to gain better insights into predicting the Hg risks in natural environment.

Based on the multiconfiguration Dirac-Hartree-Fock(MCDHF)method,similar models are employed to simultaneously calculate the first-order and second-order Zeeman coefficients as well as the hyperfine interaction constants of the related energy levels of ^(27)Al^(+)and its logical ions ^(9)Be^(+)and^(25)Mg^(+)in the^(27)Al^(+)optical *** less than 0.34%deviations from experimental values in Zeeman coefficients of^(27)Al^(+),these calculated parameters will be of great help for better evaluation of the systematic *** also calculate the isotope shift parameters of the related energy levels,which could extend our knowledge and understanding of nuclear properties of these ions.

Statistical modeling based on the product model is an effective method to fit the sea clutter of polarimetric synthetic aperture radar(PolSAR) images in nonhomogeneous regions. The generalized Gamma distribution(GΓD) is a kind of distribution with wide coverage, including Weibull, Gamma, inverse Gamma,Fisher, and other distributions; it can be used as a textural variable in the product model because of its coverage and flexibility. The L-distribution is presented to describe the statistical distribution in this product model case. The probability distribution function(PDF) of the multilook covariance matrix is obtained in the L-distribution product model, which is presented in a closed form. Moreover, the statistics are applied to ship detection by the optimal polarimetric detector(OPD), and the analytical expressions of the probability of false alarm(PFA) and the probability of detection(PD) are both derived, which are also extended to derive the PFA of the MPWF detector. Finally, the simulated and measured data are used to verify the correctness of the theoretical derivation, and the results show that our derivations are all correct and effective.

Recently,three-dimensional(3D)conductive frameworks have been chosen as the host for composite lithium(Li)metal anode because of their exceptional electrical conductivity and remarkable thermal and electrochemical ***,Li tends to accumulate on the top of the 3D frameworks with homogenous lithiophilicity and Li dendrite still *** work firstly designed a bimetallic metal-organic framework(MOF)(CuMn-MOF)derived Cu_(2)O and Mn_(3)O_(4) nanoparticles decorated carbon cloth(CC)substrates(CC@Cu_(2)O/Mn_(3)O_(4))to fabricate a composite Li *** to the synergistic effects of lithiophilic Cu_(2)O and Mn_(3)O_(4),the CC@Cu_(2)O/Mn_(3)O_(4)@Li symmetrical cell can afford a prolonged cycling lifespan(1400 h)under an ultrahigh current density and areal capacity(6 mA·cm^(-2)/6 mAh·cm^(-2)).When coupled with the LiFePO_(4)(LFP)cathode,the LFP||CC@Cu_(2)O/Mn_(3)O_(4)@Li full cell demonstrated a superior performance of 89.7 mAh·g^(-1) even at an extremely high current density(10 C).Furthermore,it can also be matched well with LiNi_(0.5)Co^(0).2Mn_(0.3)O_(2)(NCM523)***,to explain the excellent performances of the CC@Cu_(2)O/Mn_(3)O_(4)@Li composite anode,an intermittent model was also *** study offers a novel model that can enhance our comprehension of the Li deposition behavior and pave the way to attain stable and safe Li metal anodes by employing bimetallic MOF-derived materials to construct 3D frameworks.
