Background Our recent pilot study suggests intra-arterial tenecteplase(TnK)during the first pass of endovascular treatment(EVT)seems safe,may increase first-pass reperfusion and good outcome in acute ischaemic stroke(AIS)patients with large-vessel occlusion(LVO).Aims To determine the efficacy and safety of intra-arterial TnK administration during EVT in AIS-LVO patients presenting up to 24 hours from symptom *** size estimates A maximum of 380 patients are required to test the superiority hypothesis with 80%power according to a two-side 0.05 level of significance,stratified by age,gender,baseline systolic blood pressure,prestroke modified Rankin Scale(mRS),baseline national Institute of Health stroke scale,baseline ASPECTS,time from onset to groin puncture,intravenous thrombolysis before EVT,stroke territory and stroke *** Intra-arterial TnK during thrombectomy for acute stroke(BRETIS-TnK II)study is a prospective,randomised,adaptive enrichment,open-label,blinded end point,multicentre *** AIS-LVO patients are randomly assigned into the experimental group and control group with a ratio of 1:*** experimental group will be treated with intra-arterial infusion of TnK during *** control group will be treated with standard *** The primary end point is a favourable outcome,defined as an mRS score of 0–2 at 90 *** primary safety end point is symptomatic intracranial haemorrhage within 48 hours,which is defined as an increase in the national Institutes of Health Stroke Scale score of≥4 points as a result of the intracranial *** The results of BRETIS-TnK II will provide evidence for the efficacy and safety of intra-arterial TnK administration during EVT in AIS patients with LVO.

The present paper continues the topic of our recent paper in the same journal,aiming to show the role of structural stability in financial *** the context of financial market modeling,structural stability means that a specific“no-arbitrage”property is unaffected by small(with respect to the Pompeiu–Hausdorff metric)perturbations of the model’s *** formulate,based on our economic interpretation,a new requirement concerning“no arbitrage”properties,which we call the“uncertainty principle”.This principle in the case of no-trading constraints is equivalent to structural *** demonstrate that structural stability is essential for a correct model approximation(which is used in our numerical method for superhedging price computation).We also show that structural stability is important for the continuity of superhedging prices and discuss the sufficient conditions for this continuity.

通过对各向同性固结不排水试样进行循环三轴试验,研究了饱和重塑砂土的液化行为。试验采用恒幅正弦载荷,通过测量剪切模量、阻尼比、轴向应变和超孔隙水压力比的变化,评估了加载频率(分别为0.1、0.5、1.0 Hz)和压实度(分别为0.95、0.90和0.80)对砂土液化行为的影响。试验结果表明,对于压实度为0.95的砂样,在5000次加载循环中,0.1 Hz的加载频率对液化过程影响甚微;而对于压实度为0.90和0.80的砂样,此频率的影响显著。对于压实度为0.80的砂样,当频率增加到0.5 Hz时几乎一加载就直接发生液化。这表明增加加载频率会加快液化速度,而增加压实度则会减慢液化速度。因此,通过一系列的试验可以模拟现场砂土在不同频率下的动荷载条件。试验结果表明,饱和砂土的液化行为由以下因素决定:(1)试样的压实度越低,液化越容易发生;(2)加载频率越高,液化越容易发生;(3)循环轴向应变越大,发生液化所需的循环次数越少;(4)超孔隙水压力随加载循环次数增加,直至试样完全液化。

Spiritual Forests—A nature Conservation Model of Ethnic Minority Communities in Central Viet nam

This paper aims to analyze and evaluate a model of forest conservation and management of ethnic minority (or indigenous) people in central Vietnam, often referred to as the spiritual forest. These forests, called sacred forest or ghost forests by the ethnic minority people in Thua Thien Hue province, have existed for a long time among forest residents. However, they have recently declined, both in quality and quantity, due to various factors, including changes in society, economy, environment, and perception, among other reasons. Based on research conducted in A Luoi district, Thua Thien Hue province with household interviews, group discussions, and field surveys, we find that spiritual forest retains religious and human significance. They are also often among the last remaining natural forests left due to deforestation by human activities. The research results indicate challenges that conservation of spiritual forest may face, while giving recommendations derived from communities for sustainable forest development and conservation in the region.

Tibetan singing bowls emit low-frequency sounds and produce perceptible harmonic tones and vibrations through manual tapping. The sounds the singing bowls produce have been shown to enhance relaxation and reduce anxiety. However, the underlying mechanism remains unclear. In this study, we used chronic restraint stress or sleep deprivation to establish mouse models of anxiety that exhibit anxiety-like behaviors. We then supplied treatment with singing bowls in a bottomless cage placed on the top of a cushion. We found that unlike in humans, the combination of harmonic tones and vibrations did not improve anxietylike behaviors in mice, while individual vibration components did. Additionally, the vibration of singing bowls increased the level of n-methyl-D-aspartate receptor 1 in the somatosensory cortex and prefrontal cortex of the mice, decreased the level of γ-aminobutyric acid A(GABA) receptor α 1 subtype, reduced the level of CaMKII in the prefrontal cortex, and increased the number of GABAergic interneurons. At the same time, electrophysiological tests showed that the vibration of singing bowls significantly reduced the abnormal low-frequency gamma oscillation peak frequency in the medial prefrontal cortex caused by stress restraint pressure and sleep deprivation. Results from this study indicate that the vibration of singing bowls can alleviate anxiety-like behaviors by reducing abnormal molecular and electrophysiological events in somatosensory and medial prefrontal cortex.

Background Clonorchiasis and opisthorchiasis, caused by the liver flukesClonorchis sinensis andOpisthorchis viverrini respectively, represent significant neglected tropical diseases (nTDs) in Asia. The co-existence of these pathogens in overlapping regions complicates effective disease control strategies. This study aimed to clarify the distribution and interaction of these diseases within Southeast *** We systematically collated occurrence records of human clonorchiasis (n = 1809) and opisthorchiasis (n = 731) across the Southeast Asia countries. Utilizing species distribution models incorporating environmental and climatic data, coupled machine learning algorithms with boosted regression trees, we predicted and distinguished endemic areas for each fluke species. Machine learning techniques, including geospatial analysis, were employed to delineate the boundaries between these *** Our analysis revealed that the endemic range ofC. sinensis andO. viverrini in Southeast Asia primarily spans across part of China, Vietnam, Thailand, Laos, and Cambodia. During the period from 2000 to 2018, we identifiedC. sinensis infections in 84 distinct locations, predominantly in southern China (Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region) and northern Vietnam. In a stark contrast,O. viverrini was more widely distributed, with infections documented in 721 locations across Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, and Vietnam. Critical environmental determinants were quantitatively analyzed, revealing annual mean temperatures ranging between 14 and 20 °C in clonorchiasis-endemic areas and 24–30 °C in opisthorchiasis regions (P ne learning model effectively mapped a distinct demarcation zone, demonstrating a clear separation between the endemic areas of these two liver flukes with AUC from 0.9 to1.
