The Radon-ambiguity transform （RAT）, although efficient for detecting the linear frequency modulated signals （LFMs）, is troubled by the energy accumulation of noise in low signal-to-noise ratio （SNR）. A secondorder difference （SOD） method is proposed to treat with this problem. In the SOD method, the optimal search step and difference step are derived from the LFM rate resolution formula. The sharpness of the peaks of RAT is measured by curvature, and the sharpness, but not the magnitude of the peaks, is used to detect the LFMs. The SOD method removes the noise energy accumulation and reserves the drastically changing components integrally; thus, it improves the detection probability of LFMs in low SNR. The expected performance of the new method is verified by 100 Monte Carlo simulations.

To detect higher order polynomial phase signals （HOPPSs）, the smoothed-pseudo polynomial Wigner-Ville distribution （SP-PVCVD）, an improved version of the polynomial Wigner-Ville distribution （PVCVD）, is presented using a separable kernel. By adjusting the lengths of the functions in the kernel, the balance between resolution retaining and interference suppressing can be adjusted conveniently. The proposed method with merits of interference terms reduction and noise suppression can provide time frequency representation of better readability and more accurate instantaneous frequency （IF） estimation with higher order SP-PVfVD. The performance of the SP-PWVD is verified by computer simulations.

In the coevolutionary interactions between avian brood parasites and their hosts,egg recognition based on color and/or pattern is a common and effective defense to counter ***,for egg recognition based on size,only a few studies have found affirmative results,and they do not provide unambiguous evidence that egg size recognition in hosts has evolved as an important and specific anti-parasite adaptation against parasite *** studied the brood parasite system between the Asian emerald cuckoo Chrysococcyx maculatus and its host,the chestnut-crowned warbler Phylloscopus *** cuckoo parasitizes the warbler using non-mimetic and larger eggs at a parasitism rate of 12.9%.The warbler nests used in this experiment were built in a dark environment with the nest illuminance near 0 *** with 2 types of model eggs with colors and patterns resembling cuckoo eggs of different sizes(cuckoo egg size or host egg size)showed that the warblers were able to reject 63.6%of cuckoo model eggs under these dim light ***,model eggs with the same color and pattern similar to the warbler egg size were always *** study provides strong evidence supporting the theory that egg size recognition can be evolved in hosts as a specific anti-parasite adaptation against *** suggest that the egg size recognition of the warbler is an outcome of the tradeoff between the costs of violating the parental investment rule and suffering cuckoo parasitism.

The accessibility of genomic DNA, as a key determinant of gene-related processes, is dependent on the packing density and structural dynamics of chromatin fiber. However, due to the highly dynamic and heterogeneous properties of chromatin fiber, it is technically challenging to study these properties of chromatin. Here, we report a strategy for dissecting the dynamics of chromatin fibers based on singlemolecule magnetic tweezers. Using magnetic tweezers, we can manipulate the chromatin fiber and trace its extension during the folding and unfolding process under tension to investigate the dynamic structural transitions at single-molecule level. The highly accurate and reliable in vitro single-molecule strategy provides a new research platform to dissect the structural dynamics of chromatin fiber and its regulation by different epigenetic factors during gene expression.

Aim:To study the mechanism of liver lipid metabolic disorder induced by clozapine based on the organic cation/carnitine transporter 2(OCTN2) activity and expression ***:The inhibitory effects of clozapine on the uptake of L-camitine mediated by OCTN2 were studied using stably transfected MDCK-hOCTN2 cells,HK-2(an immortalized proximal tubule epithelial cell line) cells and mouse primary cultured proximal tubular(mPCPT)*** LC/MS was applied to determine the concentration of L-carnitine,and RT-qPCR and Western blot were used to detect the expression of ***:Clozapine inhibited L-carnitine uptake in MDCK-hOCTN2 cells with the IC50 value of 1.78 μ***,clozapine also significantly reduced the uptake of L-carnitine in HK-2 cells and mPCPT ***(intraperitoneal injection) and 3 week(oral) treatment of clozapine at 12.5,25,and 50 mg/kg to mice,the excretion of L-carnitine in urine was at least2-fold higher than that of the vehicle group,and the concentration of L-carnitine in plasma,liver and kidney were significantly decreased,concomitantly,the mRNA and protein levels of OCTN2 in kidney were markedly *** the other hand,4 week oral treatment of clozapine caused triglycerides levels increase in mouse livers,which was improved by supplementation of ***:Clozapine inhibited and down-regulated the expression of OCTN2 in kidney,subsequently reduced the renal re-absorption of L-carnitine and decrease the level of L-carnitine in plasma and liver,and finally caused the fatty acid oxidation *** of L-carnitine probably be an effective strategy to attenuate clozapine-induced abnormal lipid metabolism.

由于粉煤灰具有良好的吸附性能且富含硅、铝和铁等元素,将其作为助凝剂,用盐酸对粉煤灰改性后与聚合硫酸铁PFS联合使用处理低温低浊水。在用盐酸对粉煤灰进行改性时,研究了振荡时间、振荡速度、盐酸浓度等试验因素对改性粉煤灰吸附助凝效果的影响,得出盐酸改性粉煤灰的最佳试验条件为:振荡器振荡速度80r/min,100 mL 3.6 mol/L盐酸与5g预处理粉煤灰混合振荡3h,试验温度25℃。改性后粉煤灰的比表面积明显增加,并且粉煤灰中部分硅、铝和铁等元素溶出,转变成具有很好絮凝作用的Al3+、Fe3+和H2SiO3,粘附于粉煤灰表面,在处理低温低浊水的过程中能较好地发挥吸附助凝效果。
