In this paper, I will discuss Chinese adaptations of A Doll＇s House as a point of departure to see how problems arise when the self and the behaviour of a person is defined in legal terms at the expense of moral motives and how men and women have different concepts of law and morality. Gender issues in the formation of selfhood and philosophical concepts of behavioural ＂performativity＂ will be examined in the context of China＇s experimentations in projecting new concepts of womanhood and the female self. As a context, I will also outline some of the changes in cultural values and ethical categories in China over the past century, so as to see why the individualist conception of the self has played such a paramount important role in China＇s quest for modernity.

Edge intelligence brings the deployment of applied deep learning(DL)models in edge computing systems to alleviate the core backbone network *** setup of programmable software-defined networking(sDN)control and elastic virtual computing resources within network functions virtualization(NFv)are cooperative for enhancing the applicability of intelligent edge *** offer advancement for multi-dimensional model task offloading in edge networks with sDN/NFv-based control softwarization,this study proposes a DL mechanism to recommend the optimal edge node selection with primary features of congestion windows,link delays,and allocatable bandwidth *** partial task offloading policy considered the DL-based recommendation to modify efficient virtual resource placement for minimizing the completion time and termination drop *** optimization problem of resource placement is tackled by a deep reinforcement learning(DRL)-based policy following the Markov decision process(MDP).The agent observes the state spaces and applies value-maximized action of available computation resources and adjustable resource allocation *** reward formulation primarily considers taskrequired computing resources and action-applied allocation *** defined policies of resource determination,the orchestration procedure is configured within each virtual network function(vNF)descriptor using topology and orchestration specification for cloud applications(TOsCA)by specifying the allocated *** simulation for the control rule installation is conducted using Mininet and Ryu sDN *** delay and task delivery/drop ratios are used as the key performance metrics.

starting from the subgroups of the group U（n）, the corresponding Lie algebras of the Lie algebra Al are presented, from which two well-known simple equivalent matrix Lie algebras are given. It follows that a few expanding Lie algebras are obtained by enlarging matrices. some of them can be devoted to producing double integrable couplings of the soliton hierarchies of nonlinear evolution equations. Others can be used to generate integrable couplings involving more potential functions. The above Lie algebras are classified into two types. Only one type can generate the integrable couplings, whose Hamiltonian structure could be obtained by use of the quadratic-form identity. In addition, one condition on searching for integrable couplings is improved such that more useful Lie algebras are enlightened to engender. Then two explicit examples are shown to illustrate the applications of the Lie algebras. Finally, with the help of closed cycling operation relations, another way of producing higher-dimensional Lie algebras is given.

In modem four-stroke engine technology, variable valve timing and lift control offers potential benefits for making a high-performance engine. A novel electro-hydraulic fully variable valve train for four-stroke automotive engines is introduced. The construction of the nonlinear mathematic model of the valve train system and its dynamic analysis are also presented. Experimental and simulation results show that the novel electro-hydraulic valve train can achieve fully variable valve timing and lift control. Consequently the engine performance on different loads and speeds will be significantly increased. The technology also permits the elimination of the traditional throttle valve in the gasoline engines and increases engine design flexibility.

A （2＋1）-dimensional Kdv equation is obtained by use of Hirota method, which possesses N-soliton solution, specially its exact two-soliton solution is presented. By employing a proper algebraic transformation and the Riccati equation, a type of hell-shape soliton solutions are produced via regarding the variable in the Riccati equation as the independent variable. Finally, we extend the above （2＋1）-dimensional Kdv equation into （3＋1）-dimensional equation, the two-soliton solutions are given.

Heterogeneous Internet of Things(IoT)applications generate a diversity of novelty applications and services in next-generation networks(NGN),which is essential to guarantee end-to-end(E2E)communication resources for both control plane(CP)and data plane(DP).Likewise,the heterogeneous 5th generation(5G)communication applications,including Mobile Broadband Communications(MBBC),massive Machine-Type Commutation(mMTC),and ultra-reliable low latency communications(URLLC),obligate to perform intelligent Quality-of-service(Qos)Class Identifier(QCI),while the CP entities will be suffered from the complicated massive HIOT ***,the existing management and orchestration(MANO)models are inappropriate for resource utilization and allocation in large-scale and complicated network *** cope with the issues mentioned above,this paper presents an adopted software-defined mobile edge computing(sDMEC)with a lightweight machine learning(ML)algorithm,namely support vector machine(svM),to enable intelligent MANO for real-time and resource-constraints IoT applications which require lightweight computation ***,the svM algorithm plays an essential role in performing QCI ***,the software-defined networking(sDN)controller allocates and configures priority resources according to the svM classification ***,the complementary of svM and sDMEC conducts intelligent resource MANO for massive QCI environments and meets the perspectives of mission-critical communication with resource constraint *** on the E2E experimentation metrics,the proposed scheme shows remarkable outperformance in key performance indicator(KPI)Qos,including communication reliability,latency,and communication throughput over the various powerful reference methods.

The cis→trans isomerisation of homologous 2-hydroxycycloalkanecarboxylic acids in strongly basic aqueous solution was studied starting from the cis isomers. It was found that the cyclopentane, cyclohexane and cycloheptane homologues afforded synthetically useful amounts of the trans acids and the procedure resulted in relatively small quantities of the corresponding olefinic acids. In contrast, the isomerisation of the cis-2-hydroxycyclooctanecarboxylic acid produced roughly equal amounts of the cis and trans isomers and the 1-cyclooctenecarboxylic acid at equilibrium. Molecular modelling with the PM3 semiempirical method of the reactants, products and the intermediates applying explicit water molecules as reaction medium gave a fair estimate for the rate sequence of the idealised （dehydration-free） isomerisation reactions in aqueous base solution.

A significant number of double white dwarfs(DWDs)are believed to merge within the Hubble time due to the gravitational wave(GW)emission during their inspiraling *** outcome of a DWD system is either a type Ia supernova as the double-degenerate model,or a massive,long-lasting merger *** multi-messenger signals of these events will help us to distinguish detailed merging physical *** this work,we aim to provide a generic scenario of DWD merging,investigate the emission of all major messengers,with a focus on GWs and *** goal is to provide some guidance for current and future(collaborative)efforts of multimessenger *** the merging evolution of a DWD system,different messengers(GW,neutrino and electromagnetic wave)will dominate at different *** this work,we show that DWD merger events located at the distance of 1 kpc can indeed produce detectable signals of GWs and *** GW frequency is in 0.3–0.6 Hz band around 10 days before tidal disruption *** estimate that in optimistic situations,the neutrino number detected by upcoming detectors such as JUNO and Hyper-Kamiokande can reach O(1)for a DWD merging event at~1 kpc.
