＜正＞ It is an important role for color vision to segregate figures from their background. The visual system can detect a figure on a multi-colored background by grouping some colored patches into the single figure. The colors of the figure patches should be distributed in a different region in color space from the background colors so that they appear similar. We investigated what properties of color distributions of the figure and the background influenced figure segregation by grouping colors.

Differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) provides easy screening for thermal hazard evaluation. Here, we investigate the difference between using glass and stainless-steel vessels on the DSC measurement of exothermic decomposition energy (QDSC) for 41 chemical substances (containing nitro, halogen, peroxide, and sulfur groups, and hydrazine bonds). Two borosilicate glass vessels (capillary and ampule) and one stainless-steel vessel were used. All QDSC values obtained were investigated with reference to the permissible fluctuation range specified by the ASTM (American Society for Testing and Materials) international Both glass vessels produced very similar QDSC values, despite different sample scales. The QDSC values obtained with the glass vessels were generally roughly within the variation tolerance range of the stainless-steel vessel. Notable exceptions were halogen- or sulfur-containing compounds;these exhibited smaller QDSC values with glass vessels in almost all cases. We will investigate whether certain structures in compounds react with stainless steel. The vessel material choice is crucial in evaluating the true reactivity of a substance.

Cold energy generation systems must be improved to prevent catastrophic climate change. In this study, we focused on an absorption chiller cycle with HFC-134a and an ionic liquid pair as the refrigerant and absorbent, respectively. It was expected that this absorption chiller cycle could generate cold heat below 0°C. Two liquids were selected and their absorption equilibrium with this pair was evaluated for the absorption chiller cycle. We measured the adsorbed amount at equilibrium with 1-butyl-3-methylimidazolium bis(trifluoromethanesulfonyl)imide [BMIM][Tf2N] and N-trimethyl-N-butylammonium bis(trifluoromethanesulfonyl)imide [N1113][Tf2N]. The experimental results were reproduced using the non-random two liquid (NRTL) model. This analysis model corresponded well in terms of the amount of adsorption at equilibrium with the experimental results. A Duhring diagram was also generated the NRTL model, and the absorption cycle characteristics as a function of temperature were determined. The absorption chiller cycle obtained cold heat at 10°C with a regeneration temperature of 70°C in addition to generating cold heat below 0°C.

AIM To identify the clinical features of gastric mucosaassociated lymphoid tissue(MALT) lymphoma with extra copies of *** This is a multi-centered,retrospective study. We reviewed 146 patients with MALT lymphoma in the stomach who underwent fluorescence in situ hybridization analysis for t(11;18) translocation. Patients were subdivided into patients without t(11;18) translocation or extra copies of MALT1(Group A,n = 88),patients with t(11;18) translocation(Group B,n = 27),and patients with extra copies of MALT1(Group C,n = 31). The clinical background,treatment,and outcomes of each group were *** Groups A and C showed slight female predominance,whereas Group B showed slight male predominance. Mean ages and clinical stages at lymphoma diagnosis were not different between groups. Complete response was obtained in 61 patients in Group A(69.3%),22 in Group B(81.5%),and 21 in Group C(67.7%). Helicobacter pylori(H. pylori) eradication alone resulted in complete remission in 44 patients in Group A and 13 in Group C. In Group B,14 patients underwent radiotherapy alone,which resulted in lymphoma disappearance. Although the difference was not statistically significant,event-free survival in Group C tended to be inferior to that in Group A(P = 0.10).CONCLUSION Patients with t(11;18) translocation should be treated differently from others. Patients with extra copies of MALT1 could be initially treated with H. pylori eradication,similar to patients without t(11;18) translocation or extra copies of MALT1.

目的：评价窄谱成像（ NBI）支气管镜对评估中央型肺癌浸润范围及制定治疗方案的价值。方法使用日本奥林巴斯公司的EVIS LUCERA光谱支气管镜，对2012年6月至2014年6月上海市第十人民医院符合入选标准的患者进行白光支气管镜（ WLB）和NBI检查，统计并比较两种方法镜下肿瘤浸润范围、阳性表现和病理学结果。结果共196例患者入选，男152例，女44例，年龄（58±10）岁。分析确诊中央型肺癌的168例患者中，NBI 发现22例（13．1％）的肺癌浸润范围比WLB更广（ NBI下浸润比WLB下＞1 cm），其中19例（占肺癌患者的11．3％）改变治疗方案，包括改变手术方式14例，终止手术5例。多因素回归分析显示，病灶≥30 mm和病理类型为鳞癌为2个独立的预测因素，此类患者使用NBI评估肿瘤浸润范围较WLB更广的比例更高（ OR＝3．13，95％ CI：1．06～9．21， P＝0．038；OR＝4．68，95％ CI：1．02～21．58， P＝0．048）；NBI和WLB诊断肺癌敏感度、特异度、阳性预测值、阴性预测值分别为88．2％、83．3％、98．1％、41．7％和80．3％、55．6％、94．7％、22．2％。结论临床上使用NBI利于早期中央型肺癌的诊断，便于更准确的判断肺癌的浸润范围，帮助临床医师制定最佳的治疗方案。

Infected Iliac Artery Aneurysm Concomitant with Liver Abscess Caused by Fusobacterium nucleatum

We report a case of infected iliac artery aneurysm concomitant with liver abscesses caused by Fusobacterium nucleatum. A 58-year-old man developed an aneurysm of the right common iliac artery and liver abscesses. The aneurysm was resected and a femoro-femoral crossover bypass with a knitted Dacron graft was performed for impending rupture. Anaerobic cultures obtained from blood and intramural thrombus were positive for Fusobacterium nucleatum. With antibiotics, the liver abscesses disappeared without drainage. Iliopsoas abscesses developed after surgery, but it was controlled with antibiotics. The patient was free of infection 1 year after the surgery. The causative bacterium was suspected to originate in the oral cavity, because the patient had a notable history of poor chronic periodontal conditions. Clinically, infected aortoiliac aneurysm complicated by Fusobacterium is extremely rare relative to the prevalence of the pathogenic bacterium. However, it is noteworthy that Fusobacterium can cause this condition.

In the age of global warming, energy saving features and overall reduction of environmental impact are critical components that must be addressed when developing new HVAC （heating ventilation and air conditioning） units. We chose R32 refrigerant, with its lower LCCP （life cycle climate performance） as a more sustainable choice than R410A. However, R32 has its drawbacks. Due to its smaller molecular weight, internal leakage loss is higher for R32. Moreover, high discharge gas temperature decreases the reliability of the compressor, and makes a large overheating loss increase. In this study, we will describe the technologies （reducing the piston pressurizing force, heat-insulating structure, optimizing the port diameter） that were developed to overcome these drawbacks. We will also oresent the performance and reliability of the newly develoned high efficiency swing, comnressor series for R32 refrigerant.
