Tumor immunotherapy,particularly cancer vaccines,holds promise for combating cancer by harnessing tailored immune responses against malignant ***,conventional approaches face challenges in efficiently delivering antigens for optimal immune *** adjuvants,like MF59,enhance cellular uptake but struggle to induce robust CD8^(+)T cell ***,we introduce a novel strategy employing a water-in-oil-in-water(W/O/W)multiple Pickering emulsion(mPE)for antigen *** mPE,utilizing biocompatible,pH-sensitive particles,encapsulates antigens within the inner water phase,ensuring enhanced intracellular processing and dictating the intracellular fate of antigens for improved *** vitro and in vivo studies demonstrated that mPEs induced robust dendritic cells activation and antigen cross-presentation,leading to a significantly enhanced immune ***,calcium phosphate-stabilized mPE(CaP-mPE)illustrated the more robust IFN-γ^(+)T cell *** comparison with traditional surfactant-stabilized multiple emulsions,CaP-mPE significantly inhibit tumor growth and effectively prolong the survival of tumor-bearing *** innovative approach offers a promising avenue for the development of effective cancer vaccines with potent cellular immune responses.

Bifunctional interstitial phosphorous doping strategy boosts platinum-zinc alloy for efficient ammonia oxidation reaction and hydrogen evolution reaction

It is still a lack of bifunctional catalysts for ammonia oxidation reaction(AOR)and hydrogen evolution reaction(HER)due to their different reaction *** this work,P is doped into PtZn alloy by calcination with NaH_(2)PO_(2) as P source to induce the lattice tensile strain of Pt and the electronic interaction between P and Zn,which optimizes the AOR and HER activity *** sample with the optimal P content can drive the AOR peak current density of 293.6 mA·mgPt^(-1),which is almost 2.7 times of *** HER,the overpotential at^(-1)0 mA·cm^(-2) is only 23 mV with Tafel slope of 34.1 mV·dec^(-1).Furthermore,only 0.59 V is needed to obtain 50 mA·mgPt^(-1) for ammonia electrolysis under a two-electrode ***,this work shows an ingenious method to design bifunctional catalysts for ammonia electrolysis.

SWG: an architecture for sparse weight gradient computation

On-device training for deep neural networks(DNN) has become a trend due to various user preferences and scenarios. The DNN training process consists of three phases, feedforward(FF), backpropagation(BP), and weight gradient(WG) update. WG takes about one-third of the computation in the whole training process. Current training accelerators usually ignore the special computation property of WG and process it in a way similar to FF/BP. Besides, the extensive data sparsity existing in WG, which brings opportunities to save computation, is not well explored. Nevertheless, exploiting the optimization opportunities would meet three underutilization problems, which are caused by(1) the mismatch between WG data dimensions and hardware parallelism,(2) the full sparsity, i.e., the sparsity of feature map(Fmap),error map(Emap), and gradient, and(3) the workload imbalance resulting from irregular sparsity. In this paper, we propose a specific architecture for sparse weight gradient(SWG) computation. The architecture is designed based on hierarchical unrolling and sparsity-aware(HUSA) dataflow to exploit the optimization opportunities of the special computation property and full data sparsity. In HUSA dataflow, the data dimensions are unrolled hierarchically on the hardware architecture. A valid-data trace(VDT) mechanism is embedded in the dataflow to avoid the underutilization caused by the two-sided input sparsity. The gradient is unrolled in PE to alleviate the underutilization induced by output sparsity while maintaining the data reuse opportunities. Besides, we design an intra-and inter-column balancer(IIBLC) to dynamically tackle the workload imbalance problem resulting from the irregular sparsity. Experimental results show that with HUSA dataflow exploiting the full sparsity, SWG achieves a speedup of 12.23× over state-of-the-art gradient computation architecture, Train Ware. Electromagnetic wave(EMW)absorbing materials have an irreplaceable position in the field of military stealth as well as in the field of electromagnetic pollution *** in order to cope with the complex electromagnetic environment,the design of multifunctional and multiband high efficiency EMW absorbers remains a tremendous *** this work,we designed a three-dimensional porous structure via the salt melt synthesis strategy to optimize the impedance matching of the ***,through interfacial engineering,a molybdenum carbide transition layer was introduced between the molybdenum selenide nanoparticles and the three-dimensional porous carbon matrix to improve the absorption behavior of the *** analysis indicates that the number and components of the heterogeneous interfaces have a significant impact on the EMW absorption performance of the absorber due to mechanisms such as interfacial polarization and conduction loss introduced by interfacial ***,the prepared MoSe_(2)/MoC/PNC composites showed excellent EMW absorption performance in C,X,and Ku bands,especially exhibiting a reflection loss of−59.09 dB and an effective absorption bandwidth of 6.96 GHz at 1.9 *** coordination between structure and components endows the absorber with strong absorption,broad bandwidth,thin thickness,and multi-frequency absorption ***,it can effectively reinforce the marine anticorrosion property of the epoxy resin coating on Q235 steel *** study contributes to a deeper understanding of the relationship between interfacial engineering and the performance of EMW absorbers,and provides a reference for the design of multifunctional,multiband EMW absorption materials.

Take after the advantages of lithium-ion battery（LIB） and redox flow battery（RFB）, semi-solid flow battery（SSFB） is a promising electrochemical energy storage device in renewable energy utilization. The flowable slurry electrode realizes decouple of energy and power density,while it also brings about new challenge to SSFBs, electron transport between active material and the out circuit. In this consideration, three types of current collectors（CCs） are applied to study the resistance and electrochemical performances of slurry cathodes within pouch cells for the first time. It proves that the electronic resistance（Re） between slurry electrode and the CC plays a decisive role in SSFB operation, and it is so large when Al foil is adopted that the cell cannot even work. Contact angle between Ketjen black（KB） slurry without active material（AM） and the CC is a preliminarily sign for the Re, the smaller the angle, the lower the resistance, and the better electrochemical performance of the cell.

Impact of well placement and flow rate on production efficiency and stress field in the fractured geothermal reservoirs

Geothermal energy has gained wide attention as a renewable alternative for mitigating greenhouse gas *** advancements in enhanced geothermal system technology have enabled the exploitation of previously inaccessible geothermal ***,the extraction of geothermal energy from deep reservoirs poses many challenges due to high‐temperature and high‐geostress *** factors can significantly impact the surrounding rock and its fracture formation.A comprehensive understanding of the thermal–hydraulic–mechanical(THM)coupling effect is crucial to the safe and efficient exploitation of geothermal *** study presented a THM coupling numerical model for the geothermal reservoir of the Yangbajing geothermal *** proposed model investigated the geothermal exploitation performance and the stress distribution within the reservoir under various combinations of geothermal wells and mass flow *** geothermal system performance was evaluated by the criteria of outlet temperature and geothermal *** results indicate that the longer distance between wells can increase the outlet temperature of production wells and improve extraction efficiency in the short *** contrast,the shorter distance between wells can reduce the heat exchange area and thus mitigate the impact on the reservoir stress.A larger mass flow rate is conducive to the production capacity enhancement of the geothermal system and,in turn causes a wider range of stress *** findings provide valuable insights into the optimization of geothermal energy extraction while considering reservoir safety and long‐term *** study deepens the understanding of the THM coupling effects in geothermal systems and provides an efficient and environmentally friendly strategy for a geothermal energy system.

LncRNA pol-lnc78 as a ceRNA regulates antibacterial responses via suppression of pol-miR-n199-3p-mediated SARM down-regulation in Paralichthys olivaceus

Long non-coding RNAs(lncRNAs)function as key modulators in mammalian immunity,particularly due to their involvement in lncRNA-mediated competitive endogenous RNA(ceRNA)*** their recognized significance in mammals,research on lncRNAs in lower vertebrates remains *** the present study,we characterized the first immune-related lncRNA(pol-lnc78)in the teleost Japanese flounder(Paralichthys olivaceus).Results indicated that pol-lnc78 acted as a ceRNA for pol-miR-n199-3p to target the sterile alpha and armadillo motif-containing protein(SARM),the fifth discovered member of the Toll/interleukin 1(IL-1)receptor(TIR)adaptor *** ceRNA network regulated the antibacterial responses of flounder via the Toll-like receptor(TLR)signaling ***,SARM acted as a negative regulator and exacerbated bacterial infection by inhibiting the expression of inflammatory cytokines IL-1βand tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α).Pol-miR-n199-3p reduced SARM expression by specifically interacting with the 3’untranslated region(UTR),thereby promoting SARM-dependent inflammatory cytokine expression and protecting the host against bacterial ***,pol-lnc78 sponged pol-miR-n199-3p to ameliorate the inhibition of SARM *** infection,the negative regulators pol-lnc78 and SARM were significantly down-regulated,while pol-miR-n199-3p was significantly up-regulated,thus favoring host antibacterial *** findings provide novel insights into the mechanisms underlying fish immunity and open new horizons to better understand ceRNA crosstalk in lower vertebrates.

Flashover Characteristics of Dry Band-water band on Hydrophobic Surfaces

Due to their outstanding anti-flashover characteristics,composite insulators have been extensively applied in power systems.A lot of research has investigated flashover characteristics of hydrophobic specimens with artificial water ***,the phenomenon is not consistent with that of the contaminated composite *** the test specimens covered with water droplets,there is no obvious leakage current before the flashover and no obvious relationship between flashover voltage and the conductivity of water *** the contaminated composite insulator surface,there are short continuous arcs on the insulators before critical flashover,making insulators look like a luminous *** that under these two conditions,the proportion of water along the insulation distance is different,the flashover characteristic of“dry band-water band”on a hydrophobicity surface is analyzed in the present *** influence of the water band parameter(including length,width,and conductivity)as well as the length of dry band is *** this basis,the arc generation and development process of the surface covered with“dry band-water band”is *** research results improve the understanding of the flashover process on contaminated composite insulators.

Aqueous Zn-ion batteries(AZIBs)are recognized as a promising energy storage system with intrinsic safety and low cost,but its applications still rely on the design of high-capacity and stable-cycling cathode *** this work,we present an intercalation mechanism-based cathode materials for AZIB,*** vanadium oxide with pre-intercalated manganese ions and lattice water(noted as MVOH).The synergistic effect between Mn^(2+)and lattice H_(2)O not only expands the interlayer spacing,but also significantly enhances the structural *** in-situ and ex-situ characterizations clarify the Zn^(2+)/H^(+)co–(de)intercalation mechanism of MVOH in aqueous *** demonstrated remarkable structure stability,excellent kinetic behaviors and ion-storage mechanism together enable the MVOH to demonstrate satisfactory specific capacity of 450 mA h g^(−1)at 0.2 A g^(−1),excellent rate performance of 288.8 mA h g^(−1)at 10 A g^(−1)and long cycle life over 20,000 cycles at 5 A g^(−1).This work provides a practical cathode material,and contributes to the understanding of the ion-intercalation mechanism and structural evolution of the vanadium-based cathode for AZIBs.

Effect of neutral polymeric bonding agent on tensile mechanical properties and damage evolution of NEPE propellant

Introducing Neutral Polymeric bonding agents(NPBA) into the Nitrate Ester Plasticized Polyether(NEPE)propellant could improve the adhesion between filler/matrix interface, thereby contributing to the development of new generations of the NEPE propellant with better mechanical properties. Therefore,understanding the effects of NPBA on the deformation and damage evolution of the NEPE propellant is fundamental to material design and applications. This paper studies the uniaxial tensile and stress relaxation responses of the NEPE propellant with different amounts of NPBA. The damage evolution in terms of interface debonding is further investigated using a cohesive-zone model(CZM). Experimental results show that the initial modulus and strength of the NEPE propellant increase with the increasing amount of NPBA while the elongation decreases. Meanwhile, the relaxation rate slows down and a higher long-term equilibrium modulus is reached. Experimental and numerical analyses indicate that interface debonding and crack propagation along filler-matrix interface are the dominant damage mechanism for the samples with a low amount of NPBA, while damage localization and crack advancement through the matrix are predominant for the ones with a high amount of NPBA. Finally, crosslinking density tests and simulation results also show that the effect of the bonding agent is interfacial rather than due to the overall crosslinking density change of the binder.
