The prediction of human diseases,particularly COVID-19,is an extremely challenging task not only for medical experts but also for the technologists supporting them in diagnosis and *** deal with the prediction and diagnosis of COVID-19,we propose an Internet of Medical Things-based Smart Monitoring Hierarchical Mamdani Fuzzy Inference System(IoMTSM-HMFIS).The proposed system determines the various factors like fever,cough,complete blood count,respiratory rate,Ct-chest,Erythrocyte sedimentation rate and C-reactive protein,family history,and antibody detection(lgG)that are directly involved in *** expert system has two input variables in layer 1,and seven input variables in layer *** layer 1,the initial identification for COVID-19 is considered,whereas in layer 2,the different factors involved are ***,advanced lab tests are conducted to identify the actual current status of the *** major focus of this study is to build an IoMT-based smart monitoring system that can be used by anyone exposed to COVID-19;the system would evaluate the user’s health condition and inform them if they need consultation with a specialist for ***-2019a tool is used to conduct the *** COVID-19 IoMTSM-HMFIS system has an overall accuracy of approximately 83%.Finally,to achieve improved performance,the analysis results of the system were shared with experts of the Lahore General Hospital,Lahore,Pakistan.

Metachronous double malignancy involving the kidney and the breast: A case report

The occurrence of multiple primary cancers is rare;it can be missed as a disease progression. The etiology remains controversial. We report a case of a 55-year-old female with metastatic renal cell carcinoma treated with sutent followed by left sided nephrectomy. Follow-up CT showed increase in the size of the right axillary lymph nodes which was proven after biopsy to be metastatic adenocarcinoma of the breast. Any suspicious disease progression in a single site not compatible with disease history should be biopsied for confirmation. The relationship between renal cell carcinoma and breast cancer is still unclear, and more case reports are required to determine this relationship.

Paraneoplastic Leukemoid Reaction in a Patient with Urothelial Carcinoma: A Case Report

Introduction: Leukemoid reactions in cancer are rare and associated with a poor prognosis. The mechanism driving paraneoplastic leukemoid reactions appears to be gain-of-function granulocyte-colony stimulating factor (G-CSF) secretion by tumour cells. Case Presentation: A 57-year-old male smoker presented with a one-year history of painless frank hematuria and three kilograms weight loss. Cystoscopy revealed a high-grade urothelial carcinoma with sarcomatoid differentiation. The patient was treated by radical cystoprostatectomy, bilateral pelvic lymph node dissection and formation of an ileal conduit. In the absence of bone marrow infiltrations, recurrence of the urothelial carcinoma three months later was associated with a paraneoplastic leukemoid reaction with a white blood cell count peaking at 82.62 × 109/l. Unfortunately, his condition continued to deteriorate and he died shortly thereafter. Conclusion: Monitoring of white blood cell counts in paraneoplastic leukemoid reactions can be a useful indicator of response of the malignancy to chemotherapy or radiotherapy and an indication of relapse after treatment. Paraneoplastic leukemoid reactions are caused by G-CSF secretion by tumour cells and are associated with a poor prognosis. Whether G-CSF signaling plays a role in the aggressive nature of these cancers is currently unknown.

温度是热力学状态的关键变量,它对工业发展、科学研究、生活操作和其他方面有着重要的影响。因此,精确测量温度已成为重要课题。各种温度传感器也广泛应用于日常生活、计量、气体力学、大气和海洋、化学、医学、生物和军事技术等领域。随着能源、信息、生物医学等领域的飞速发展,对温度检测的速度和精度提出了更高、更复杂的要求,如亚微米乃至纳米尺度的温度测量、生物体内细胞的温度检测等。然而,传统温度计的检测速度和精度受到很大限制,通常只能满足10微米以上的温度测量。在这种情况下,基于光学传感器的非接触式温度检测的实现可以克服传统接触式温度计固有的缺点,引起了科研人员的极大兴趣。它能满足非接触、高空间分辨率、快速响应实时检测的测量要求。在一定的温度范围内,发光材料或离子的某些光学性质,如峰位、荧光强度比、光谱线宽、荧光强度、偏振各向异性和荧光衰减寿命等随温度的变化而变化。因此,这些光学性质的变化可以用来测量温度。第一章阐述了非接触式光学测温的重要性和研究背景,以及发光的基本概念和类型。简要介绍了稀土掺杂发光材料的基本知识和原理,包括稀土元素、光谱理论、稀土发光材料、上转换发光材料、微晶玻璃以及常用的光谱测试方法等。第二章综述了本实验室和其他实验室在不同温度传感方法的基础上,通过镧系离子热偶能级的发光强度比、荧光衰减时间、掺杂镧系离子ReVO4（Re=Gd,Lu,y）荧光体电荷转移带边缘的温度诱导光学测温以及基于Sm3+,Eu3+,Tb3+和Ho3+掺杂荧光体的低能级温度传感方法所获得的重要结果。详细讨论了材料荧光测温的物理机制、热释光效应特性、温度探测范围和灵敏度。比较了各种方法的优缺点。最后提出了基于温度传感技术的进一步研究方向。第三章采用基于Eu3+低能级（7F（?）j=0,1,2）热耦合的方法研究了 GdVC4:Eu3+荧光粉的温度传感性能。GdVO4:Eu3+荧光粉具有优异的发光特性,具有较高的温度探测灵敏度。研究了在7F0能级之上,热填充的低激发态7F1和7F2作为初态,激发到5D0的两种情况下,5D0→7F4发射强度之间的发光强度比。实验表明,发光强度比随温度从133K升高到313K生理温度而单调增加,特别是第一方案的相对灵敏度最大值为6.73%K-1,第二方案的相对灵敏度最大值为2.87%K-1。GdVO4:Eu3+荧光粉在生理温度（310K）范围内具有1.23%K-1的优良相对灵敏度,显现其在生物医学领域的应用前景。

Succinate-bonded pullulan: An efficient and reusable super-sorbent for cadmium-uptake from spiked high-hardness groundwater

Chemically modified pullulan was evaluated for its sorption efficiency and selectivity to remove cadmium（Cd） from spiked high-hardness groundwater（GW）. Pullulan esterified with succinic anhydride using dimethylaminopyridine showed a fairly high degree of substitution value as confirmed by1 H NMR spectroscopy. Pullulan succinate（Pull-Suc） was converted into the sodium salt（Pull-Suc-Na）. The effect of contact time（5–200 min） and p H（2–8） on Cd-uptake by the sorbent（Pull-Suc-Na） was investigated. The sorbent showed more than 90% Cd-removal in first 15 min from distilled water（DW） and GW solution,respectively. Comparison of Pull-Suc-Na with other polysaccharidal sorbents suggested its high efficiency（DW 476.2 mg/g and GW 454.5 mg/g） and selectivity for the removal of Cd by an ion exchange mechanism, which is further supported by the negative Gibbs free energy values calculated from Langmuir isotherms. A Langmuir isotherm kinetic model provided the best fit for the sorption of Cd using Pull-Suc-Na. The sorbent showed a negligible decrease in Cd-uptake over three regeneration cycles. The thermal stability testing of the sorbents indicated that Pull-Suc-Na（sorbent） is more stable than Pull-Suc.

A Query-Based Greedy Approach for Authentic Influencer Discovery in SIoT

Exfoliated 2D MAX Ti_(3) AlC_(2) conductive cocatalyst anchored with g-C_(3)N_(4)/TiO_(2) to construct 2D/0D/2D het-erojunction has been explored for enhanced CO_(2) photoreduction in a fixed-bed and monolith *** TiO_(2) particle sizes(NPs and MPs)were systematically investigated to determine effective metal-support interaction with faster charge carrier separation among the composite *** TiO_(2) NPs were anchored with 2D Ti_(3) AlC_(2) MAX structure,10.44 folds higher CH_(4) production was observed com-pared to anchoring TiO_(2) *** CH_(4) yield rate of 2103.5μmol g^(−1) h^(−1) achieved at selectivity 96.59%using ternary g-C_(3)N_(4)/TiO_(2)/Ti_(3) AlC_(2)2D/0D/2D composite which is 2.73 and 7.45 folds higher than using binary g-C_(3)N_(4)/Ti_(3) AlC_(2) MAX and TiO_(2) NPs/Ti_(3)AlC_(2) samples,respectively.A step-scheme(S-scheme)photocatalytic mechanism operates in this composite,suppressed the recombination of useful electron and holes and provides higher reduction potential for efficient CO_(2) conversion to CO and CH_(4).More im-portantly,when light intensity was increased by 5 folds,CH_(4) production rate was increased by 3.59 folds under visible *** performance of composite catalyst was further investigated in a fixed-bed and monolith photoreactor and found monolithic support increased CO production by 2.64 folds,whereas,53.99 times lower CH_(4) production was *** lower photocatalytic activity in a monolith photore-actor was due to lower visible light penetration into the ***,2D MAX Ti_(3) AlC_(2) composite catalyst can be constructed for selective photocatalytic CO_(2) methanation under visible light in a fixed-bed photoreactor.
