A new model is proposed in this paper on color edge detection that uses the second derivative operators and data fusion *** secondorder neighborhood shows the connection between the current pixel and the surroundings of this *** connection is for each RGB component color of the input *** the image edges are detected for the three primary colors:red,green,and blue,these colors are merged using the combination ***,the final decision is applied to obtain the *** process allows different data sources to be combined,which is essential to improve the image information quality and have an optimal image ***,the segmentation results of the proposed model are ***,the classification accuracy of the tested data is assessed,and a comparison with other current models is *** comparison results show that the proposed model outperforms the existing models in image segmentation.

This work reveals that the addition of periodically distributed stitches to sandwich structure enables a significant reduction of vibration in stop-band and this new functionality is systematically ***,a finite element model which is capable of taking into consideration the three layers of the sandwich as well as the stitches is *** diagram of dispersion is calculated by applying Floquet-Bloch theorem to the boundaries of unit *** properly chosen properties of stitches,a stop-band for flexural wave is *** stop-band is further confirmed by the forced response of a large stitched sandwich panel under point *** level of vibration in the stop-band is significantly *** influence of the stitch rigidity and density on upper and lower limits of stop-band is also examined,which confirms that stitched sandwich can be tuned to mitigate vibration in a certain frequency band with appropriate stitch *** investigations have demonstrated the potential application of stitched sandwich in the area of vibration reduction.

In this paper, we present a new sufficient condition for absolute stability of Lure system with two additive time-varying delay components. This criterion is expressed as a set of linear matrix inequalities （LMIs）, which can be readily tested by using standard numerical software. We use this new criterion to stabilize a class of nonlinear time-delay systems. Some numerical examples are given to illustrate the applicability of the results using standard numerical software.

The Hand Gestures Recognition(HGR)System can be employed to facilitate communication between humans and computers instead of using special input and output *** devices may complicate communication with computers especially for people with *** gestures can be defined as a natural human-to-human communication method,which also can be used in human-computer *** researchers developed various techniques and methods that aimed to understand and recognize specific hand gestures by employing one or two machine learning algorithms with a reasonable *** aims to develop a powerful hand gesture recognition model with a 100%recognition *** proposed an ensemble classification model that combines the most powerful machine learning classifiers to obtain diversity and improve *** majority voting method was used to aggregate accuracies produced by each classifier and get the final classification *** model was trained using a self-constructed dataset containing 1600 images of ten different hand *** employing of canny’s edge detector and histogram of oriented gradient method was a great combination with the ensemble classifier and the recognition *** experimental results had shown the robustness of our proposed *** Regression and Support Vector Machine have achieved 100%*** developed model was validated using two public datasets,and the findings have proved that our model outperformed other compared studies.

Presently,cognitive Internet of Things(CIoT)with cloud computing(CC)enabled intelligent healthcare models are developed,which enables communication with intelligent devices,sensor modules,and other stakeholders in the healthcare sector to avail effective decision *** the other hand,Alzheimer disease(AD)is an advanced and degenerative illness which injures the brain cells,and its earlier detection is necessary for suitable interference by healthcare *** this aspect,this paper presents a new Oriented Features from Accelerated Segment Test(FAST)with Rotated Binary Robust Independent Elementary Features(BRIEF)Detector(ORB)with optimal artificial neural network(ORB-OANN)model for AD diagnosis and classification on the CIoT based smart healthcare *** initial pre-processing,bilateral filtering(BLF)based noise removal and region of interest(RoI)detection processes are carried *** addition,the ORBOANN model includes ORB based feature extractor and principal component analysis(PCA)based feature ***,artificial neural network(ANN)model is utilized as a classifier and the parameters of the ANN are optimally chosen by the use of salp swarm algorithm(SSA).A comprehensive experimental analysis of the ORB-OANN model is carried out on the benchmark database and the obtained results pointed out the promising outcome of the ORB-OANN technique in terms of different measures.

Densification and Microstructure of Fluorapatite Sintered with Alkaline and Alkaline-Earth Additives

A study was performed to investigate the effect of some selected sintering additives on the densification and microstructure of fluorapatite (FAp, Ca10(PO4)6F2). The sintering aids, used for improving the material densification at lower than 1080℃ temperature, were classified according to their cations as alkaline such as Li2CO3, NaF, Na2CO3, Na3PO4, KCl, K2CO3, and alkaline-earth such as CaF2, CaCl2 and MgCl2. Amounts of 0.1;1 and 3 wt% were vigorously homogenized with FAp powders then the solid mixture was pressurelessly sintered under argon flow with 10℃ .?min-1 heating and cooling speed. The density of each sintered material was determined by calculation of the pellet dimension and weight, the crystalline phases were identified using X-ray diffraction (XRD) and the phase morphology was examined by scanning electron microscopy (SEM). The dependence of densification and microstructure on sintering temperature range 900℃ - 1000℃ and amount of sintering aids was studied. It was found that all sintering additives were able to ameliorate the sintrability of the material at temperatures 900℃ and 1000℃. Maximums of about 96% were reached with adequate amounts and sintering temperatures. An exception was found with KCl which had no effect on the density. The microstructures of sintered specimens strictly follow the densification ratios and the sintering mechanism depended on the melting point of the additive.

This paper presents an original approach to reduce energy consumption in an IEEE 802.15.4/ZigBee cluster tree network related to a backbone network. Our approach uses an enhanced mobility management of end devices combined with a rate adaptation algorithm. The mobility management approach anticipates link disruption and relies on a speculative algorithm that does not require scanning neighbor cells. The joint mobility management and rate adaptation methods are based on the link quality indicator (LQI). It is demonstrated that even in a noisy environment, the energy consumption as well as the latency of mobile devices can be significantly reduced.

Biometrics represents the technology for measuring the characteristics of the human *** authentication currently allows for secure,easy,and fast access by recognizing a person based on facial,voice,and fingerprint *** authentication is one of the essential biometric methods for identifying a *** authentication type has become popular in research and practical *** the face and hands,the iris is an internal organ,protected and therefore less likely to be ***,the number of helpful information collected from the iris is much greater than the other biometric human *** work proposes a new iris identification model based on a multilevel thresholding technique and modified Fuzzy cmeans *** multilevel thresholding technique extracts the iris from its surroundings,such as specular reflections,eyelashes,pupils,and *** the other hand,the modified Fuzzy c-means is used to combine and classify the most useful statistical features to maximize the accuracy of the collected ***,having the most optimal iris *** proposed model results are validated using True Success Rate(TSR)and compared to other existing *** results show how effective the combination of the two stages of the proposed model is:the Otsu method and modified Fuzzy c-means for the 400 tested images representing 40 people.

Group key security protocols play an important role in today’s communication systems. Their verification, however, remains a great challenge because of the dynamic characteristics of group key construction and distribution protocols. Security properties that are well defined in normal two-party protocols have different meanings and different interpretations in group key distribution protocols, specifically, secrecy properties, such as group secrecy, forward secrecy, backward secrecy, and key independence. In this paper, we present a method to verify forward secrecy properties for group-oriented protocols. The method is based on a correct semantical link between group key protocols and event-B models and also uses the refinement process in the B method to model and verify group and forward secrecy. We use an event-B first-order theorem proving system to provide invariant checking for these secrecy properties. We illustrate our approach on the Tree based Group Diffie-Hellman protocol as case study.
