Due to their easy-to-deploy and self-healing features, WmNs (Wireless mesh Networks) are emerging as a new promising technology with a rich set of applications. While the IEEE standardization of this new technology is still in progress, its main traits are already set, e.g., architecture and mAC routing. WmNs are attracting considerable research in academia and industry as well, but the lack of open-source testbeds is restricting such a research to simulation tools. The main problem with simulation tools is that they do not reflect the complexity of RF propagation, especially in indoor environments, of which IEEE 802.11s WmNs are an example. This paper presents an open-source implementation of an indoor IEEE 802.11s WmN testbed. The implementation is transparent, easy-to-deploy, and both the source code and deployment instructions are available online. The implementation can serve as a blueprint for the WmN research community to deploy their own testbeds, negating the shortcomings of using simulation tools. By delving into the testbed implementation subtleties, this paper is shedding further light on the details of the ongoing IEEE 802.11s standard. major encountered implementation problems (e.g., clients association, Internetworking, and supporting multiple gateways) are identified and addressed. To ascertain the functionality of the testbed, both UDP and TCP traffic are supported and operational. The testbed uses the default IEEE 802.11s HWmP (Hybrid Wireless mesh Protocol) routing protocol along with the default IEEE 802.11s Airtime routing metric.

The present work has been conducted to study the impact of Zn (20 and 200 μm) or Ni (1 and 100 μm) on growth, metabolic activities, osmotic pressure and heavy metal of wheat cultivar (cv. Gimiza 11) under salt stress conditions. Harvest index was significantly decreased by 75% at -0.3 mPa and -1.2 mPa decreased by 53%. Length of root, stem and spike, and leaf area were slightly reduced up to -0.9 mPa NaCl level, after that a significant reduction was recorded. Total sugar was increased in the shoot and spike, while decreased in the root with increasing salinity levels. On the other side, total protein was increased in the shoot while decreased in both the root and spike. Osmotic pressure was increased as increasing salinity levels. Treatment of wheat plants with Zn or Ni alleviated generally salt injury in the harvest index, length of root, shoot and spike and leaf area. This effect was more obvious with Zn treatments. mineralization treatments increased total sugar in the three tested organs while did not change the total protein. Zn content was increased at -1.2 mPa level while Ni was decreased. Treatments with Zn or Ni mostly increased Zn while causing a reduction in the Ni content. These treatments also increased the values of osmotic pressure compared with the equivalent levels of control plants.

Stroke and cerebral haemorrhage are the second leading causes of death in the world after ischaemic heart *** this work,a dataset containing medical,physiological and environmental tests for stroke was used to evaluate the efficacy of machine learning,deep learning and a hybrid technique between deep learning and machine learning on themagnetic Resonance Imaging(mRI)dataset for cerebral *** the first dataset(medical records),two features,namely,diabetes and obesity,were created on the basis of the values of the corresponding *** t-Distributed Stochastic Neighbour Embedding algorithm was applied to represent the high-dimensional dataset in a low-dimensional data ***,the Recursive Feature Elimination algorithm(RFE)was applied to rank the features according to priority and their correlation to the target feature and to remove the unimportant *** features are fed into the various classification algorithms,namely,Support Vector machine(SVm),K Nearest Neighbours(KNN),Decision Tree,Random Forest,and multilayer *** algorithms achieved superior *** Random Forest algorithm achieved the best performance amongst the algorithms;it reached an overall accuracy of 99%.This algorithm classified stroke cases with Precision,Recall and F1 score of 98%,100%and 99%,*** the second dataset,the mRI image dataset was evaluated by using the AlexNet model and AlexNet+SVm hybrid *** hybrid model AlexNet+SVm performed is better than the AlexNet model;it reached accuracy,sensitivity,specificity and Area Under the Curve(AUC)of 99.9%,100%,99.80%and 99.86%,respectively.

Genus Heliotropium L. (Heliotropiaceae) in south west of Saudi Arabia has been studied;seven species of H. arbainense Fresen, H. longiflorum (D.C.) Jauber & Spach, H. petrocarpum Hockst & Steud, H. strigosium Willd, H. zeylanicum Lam., H. jizanense Al-Turki and H. lasiocarpum Fisch were collected, recognized, typed and nomenclatured. The most valuable characters were those of macro and distinct micromorphological data such as stomata, hairs, pollen grains and stem anatomy. Light microscopy has been used in these studies. From the obtained results, trichomes and pollen grains data in addition to stem anatomy indicated good taxonomic tools to differentiate between species of this genus. Different traditional measurements were strikingly also helpful for the discrimination of species. H. longiflorum was characterized by distinctive data such as prominent anatomical information, P/E (1.8 μm) in addition to presence of spindle hair which in turn can be separated as a taxonomic level. Also, the results revealed a complete affinity between the two species of H. jizanense and H. lasiocarpum. An artificial key is provided for the differentiation between the studied species.

The coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)global public health emergency,has exposed the fragility of health *** to healthcare became a scarce commodity as healthcare providers and resource-poor populations became victims of the novel corona ***,this study focuses on Africa’s readiness to integrate telemedicine into the weak health systems and its adoption may help alleviate poor healthcare and poverty after *** conducted a narrative review through different search strategies in Scopus on January 20,2021,to identify available literature reporting implementation of various telemedicine modes in Africa from January 1,2011 to December 31,*** summarized 54 studies according to geographies,field,and implementation *** results show a willingness to adopt telemedicine in the resource-poor settings and hard-to-reach populations,which will bring relief to the inadequate healthcare systems and alleviate poverty of those who feel the burden of healthcare cost the *** adequate government financing,telemedicine promises to enhance the treating of communicable and non-communicable diseases as well as support health *** can also alleviate poverty among vulnerable groups and hard-to-reach communities in Africa with adequate government ***,given the lack of funding in Africa,the challenges in implementing telemedicine require global and national strategies before it can yield promising *** is especially true in regards to alleviating the multidimensionality of poverty in post-COVID-19 Africa.

Dielectric constant, ε', dielectric loss factor, ε', electric modulus, m, and ac conductivity, σac, of pure CPVC and that stabilized with 10 wt% of phenyl maleimide, Pm, have been carried out. The dielectric properties have been studied in the temperature and frequency ranges;310 K - 450 K and 1 kHz- 4 mHz, respectively. The incorporation of 10 wt% of Pm as stabilizer for CPVC leads to reduce its Tg from 405K to 378K at 10 kHz. Pm molecules within CPVC structure reduce the double bond, stabilizer effect, and cause the widely spacing between CPVC main chains, plasticizer effect.? Three dielectric relaxation processes namely ρ, α', and α were observed for pure CPVC. The first process was explained based on space charge formation or maxwell-Wagner-Sillers, mWS, polarization. The second one is due to the segmental motion of the branching of CPVC. The third process occurs around the glass-rubber temperature, Tg, and is related to the micro-Brownian motion of the main polymer chain. Electric modulus and ac conductivity reveal that the conduction mechanism of CPVC is follow the correlated barrier hopping, CBH, while stabilized sample exhibits a quantum mechanical tunneling, QmT, type conduction.

The miscibility of chlorinated poly vinyl chloride (CPVC) and poly ethylene glycol (PEG) or poly ethylene succinate (PES) had been investigated using dielectric relaxation spectroscopy (DRS) over frequency and temperature ranges;10 kHz - 4 mHz and 300 - 450 K, respectively. Three relaxation processes namely ρ-, α’-, and α-relaxation processes were observed for tan(δ) and the electric modulus m' of pure components and blends. The first one was attributed to the space charge polarization or the maxwell-Wagner polarization. The second one was related to the amorphous regions located between the lamellar crystal stacks. The third one was due to the micro-Brownian motion of CPVC main chains. This process was found to be dependent in respect of temperature and frequency. The molecular dynamics of α-relaxation process were influenced by blending, i.e., the dielectric strength (De), the peak broadness, and the peak maximum of tan(δ) were found to be compositional dependent. Electric modulus analysis reveals that there is a role of electrode polarization for the dielectric relaxation.

A Complex Interrelationship between Rectal Temperature and Dairy Cows’ Performance under Heat Stress Conditions

Upper limit of thermal stability and subsequent rise of thermoregulatory functions are affected by body temperature. This study was designed to determine the effects of rectal temperature (RT) on dairy cows’ performance (heart rates (HR), respiratory rates (RR), milk yield (mY), dry matter intake (DmI), digestibility, plasma concentration of vitamin C under hot climate. This study was carried out in 2009, in north-west of Tunisia using 30 Holstein cows in mid lactation. The experiment was performed in spring (15th of February-15th of march: P1) and summer (1st-30th of August: P2). On each test day, temperature-humidity index (THI), RT, HR, RR, mY, DmI, digestibility and plasma VC concentration were determined. All this parameters were affected (P m 65.62 (P1) to 83.27 (P2). Regression analyses were carried out between THI index and some parameters (HR, RR, mY, DmI, digestibility, plasma concentration of vitamin C) and between RT and same parameters (HR, RR, mY, DmI, digestibility, plasma concentration of vitamin C). Characteristics of regression analyses in the two modes were different as also were R2 and r (correlation coefficient) of the regressions. R2 in regressions on RT (R2 (RT, DmI) = 0.92 (P 2 (RT, mY) = 0.91 (P markedly higher relative to R2 in regressions on THI (R2 (THI, DmI) = 0.76 (P 2 (THI, mY) = 0.63 (P modes suggest that increasing R2 in regressions on RT confirms that rectal temperature constitutes a larger component of total variance of responses in dairy cows to hot environmental temperature.
