The flow of Ree–eyring and Casson non-Newtonian fluids is investigated using a variational principle to optimize the total *** variationally obtained solutions are compared to the analytical solutions derived from the Weissenberg–Rabinowitsch–Mooney equation and the results are found to be identical within acceptable numerical errors and modeling approximations.

Anchor-based ad-hoc networks utilize hop measurements to generate a virtual coordinate system for topology inference and routing applications.A common problem with such coordinate system is its sensitivity to anchor *** present a general formulation to the anchor node selection ***,we relax the optimization problem by deriving an upper-bound of the objective *** finally propose an iterative algorithm that consists in choosing additional anchor nodes based on the connectivity information provided by the current anchor *** simulations indicate that our anchor selection method is robust to missing measurements and improves network topology inference and routing performance.

Background:Childhood obesity(CHO)is a serious global health challenge affecting both developed and developing *** feats attained in addressing this global health challenge can be reflected through the top-cited *** study’s aim was to analyze the features of the 100 top-cited articles concerning ***:We used a bibliometric analysis,and searched for relevant articles from the Web of Science(December 1,2021),using an appropriate keyword search-strategy((child OR childhood OR children OR adolescent)AND(obese OR obesity OR overweight)).The retrieved documents were analysed based on the citation number,publication year,authorship,institution,journal and *** analyses were performed mainly by the Bibliometrix application(using R-studio cloud)and ***:The 100 top-cited articles were published between 1976 and 2018,their citations ranged from 365 to 10789,with a mean citation of 1146.2 and 31 studies had more than 1000 *** articles were published in 31 journals,with the“Pediatrics”journal having the most publications(n=18).The studies were from 12 countries,with the most-productive being the USA(n=68),followed by the United Kingdom(n=12)and France(n=3).The leading institution was the University of Bristol(n=8),while Dietz WH(n=12),and Flegal KM(n=8)were the most productive *** most common research fields covered by these articles were;“General Internal Medicine”(n=34),“Pediatrics”(n=29),and“Nutrition Dietetics”(n=18).The study noted significant correlations between the total article citation and the number of authors(R=0.203),countries involved(R=0.407),institutions(R=0.407),and the publication year(R=0.847),all with Pese top-cited articles,this analysis provides discernment into the historical advancements,including the prime roles performed by various stakeholders in addressing the issue of ***,Asian countries’contribution is not adequately reflected in these articles,and thus

This paper introduces a dynamic network model together with a phasor measurement unit(PMU)measurement model suitable for power system state estimation under spoofing attacks on the global positioning system(GPS)receivers of *** spoofing attacks may introduce time-varying phase offsets in the affected PMU *** algorithm is developed to jointly estimate the state of the network,which amounts to the nodal voltages in rectangular coordinates,as well as the time-varying *** algorithm features closedform *** effectiveness of the algorithm is verified on the standard Ieee transmission *** is numerically shown that the estimation performance is improved when the dynamic network model is accounted for compared with a previously reported static approach.

The one-dimensional Navier–Stokes equations are used to derive analytical expressions for the relation between pressure and volumetric flow rate in capillaries of five different converging-diverging axisymmetric geometries for Newtonian *** results are compared to previously derived expressions for the same geometries using the lubrication *** results of the one-dimensional Navier–Stokes are identical to those obtained from the lubrication approximation within a nondimensional numerical *** derived flow expressions have also been validated by comparison to numerical solutions obtained from discretization with numerical ***,they have been certified by testing the convergence of solutions as the converging-diverging geometries approach the limiting straight geometry.

Chemical preparation, X-ray single crystal diffraction, thermal analysis, electrochemical measurements, IR, Raman and UV spectroscopic investigations of a novel organic-inorganic hybrid material（CaH7N2）CdCl3（H2O）（1） were described. 1-Methylimidazolium aquapentachlorocadmate（II） crystallized in the monoclinic system with P2 1/n space group. Its structure provided a new interesting example of infinite inorganic layers of [CdCl3（H2O）]n n- centered by （-101） planes. The [CdCl5（H2O）]- anions were interconnected by O-H...Cl hydrogen bonds. Acidic protons of the chloride group were transferred to the organic molecule, giving the singly-protonated cations. The ability of ions to form a spontaneous three-dimensional structure through O-H…Cl and N-H…Cl hydrogen bonds was fully utilized. These hydrogen bonds induced notable vibrational effects. IR and Raman spectra were reported and discussed on the basis of group theoretical analysis and on quantum chemical density theory（DFT） calculation. The molecular HOMO-LUMO compositions and their respective energy gaps were also drawn to explain the activity of our compound. The role of the intermolecular interaction in this crystal was analyzed. The optical study was also investigated by UV-Vis absorption spectrum. Thermal analysis reveals the hydrous character of the compound. Cyclic voltammetry was studied to evaluate the spectral and structural changes accompanying electron transfer.

Radiation Doses in Diagnostic Radiology and Method for Dose Reduction

Objective: The current research study aims to calculate entrance surface air kerma for skull, chest, cervical spine, lumbar spine, and pelvic X-ray examinations in interior posterior and posterior interior positions and generate a method for chest dose reduction to decrease radiation risk. Materials and Methods: The indirect dose measurement was used in the current research. The X-ray tube output was measured using RAD-CHeCK Plus ionization chamber and the indirect entrance surface air kerma was calculated via applying physical acquisition parameters such as a focus on skin distance, tube current times exposure time (mAs), and applied tube voltage (kV), and applying a mathematical model. Results: The main findings were obtained from comparing the radiation doses with the reference levels of International organizations such as the American College of Radiology and the International Atomic energy Authority. The mean entrance skin dose for the skull (AP), skull (PA), skull (LAT), cervical spine (PA), cervical spine (LAT), lumbar spine (AP), lumbar spine (LAT), pelvis (AP), and pelvis (LAT) of adult X-ray examinations was within the diagnostic reference dose level values obtained by ACR (2018) except for the eSD for chest (AP) which was 0.88 mGy. Conclusions: The results of the study concluded that by adjusting the applied tube voltage, kV, and tube current product time, mAs decreased the radiation dose to the chest X-ray by 58%.

Background/Objectives:Many economies are on the trajectory of alternative growth drivers other than conventional capital and *** to credit facilities is a pertinent indicator of economic *** line with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals(UNSDGs-8)agenda,the national goal for sustainable development for most economies and Arab economies is no ***,the current study adopts a traditional growth model by exploring the relationship between gross domestic product(GDP)per capita,credit for private sectors,ratio of exports,real GDP,and per labor force participants for selected Arab economies annually from 2001 to *** design:This study leverages the Fourier Kwiatkowski–Phillips–Schmidt–Shin(KPSS)unit root test and second-generation panel econometrics as estimation techniques,such as Westerlund and edgerton panel cointegration test,and the use of two estimators,namely the augmented mean group(AMG)and common correlated error mean group(CCeMG),to obtain robust ***:empirical findings from Westerlund and edgerton panel cointegration tests validate the long-run equilibrium relationship among the outlined *** empirical results indicate that the share of exports is negatively significant with economic growth in countries such as Kuwait,Lebanon,Tunisia,and ***,savings and labor force participation have a positive relationship with economic growth in individual countries such as Algeria and *** per the panel,there is no significant relationship between labor force participation and economic *** indicates that the skilled labor force enhanced economic ***:These findings come with inherent far-reaching policy suggestions for economies and *** details on country-specific policy actions are presented in the concluding section.
