A century ago, in 1923, Franz Fischer and hans Tropsch introduced the groundbreaking Fischer–Tropsch (FT) synthesis, a heterogeneous catalytic process used to convert synthesis gas (syngas,CO+H2) into multi-carbon hydrocarbons [1]. Over the past 100 years, FT synthesis has emerged as a pivotal method for converting non-petroleum resources into exceptionally clean fuels or valuable chemicals via syngas [2–4].

Implementing quantum communication between space-separated local networks is essential for designing global quantum networks. In this study, we propose quantum teleportation and remote state preparation schemes between users of two space-separated local networks established by continuous-variable multipartite entangled states. In the proposed schemes, the quantum nodes belonging to the two distant local networks are first entangled by entanglement swapping, and then quantum communication protocols are realized. We show that quantum teleportation between any two users belonging to space-separated local networks can be realized with the assistance of other users, and squeezed thermal states can be remotely prepared in one local network by performing a homodyne projective measurement on the state in another distant local network. Our results provide a feasible approach for quantum communication between spaceseparated quantum networks with multipartite entangled states.

SO_(2)poisoning is a common problem in the catalytic combustion of volatile organic compounds(VOCs).In this work,we took three-dimensionally ordered macroporous and mesoporous(3DOM)SiO_(2)as the nanoreactor to protect active sites from SO_(2)erosion in the catalytic combustion of ***,the confined growth of metal active nanoparticles in the multi-stage pore is also full of *** we successfully confined Co_(3)O_(4)nanoparticles(NPs)in macroporous and mesoporous ***,the precursors’growth in the pore was controlled and nanoreactors with different pore sizes were prepared by adjusting the loading amount and preparation *** is discovered that the Co_(3)O_(4)NPs confined in 3DOM SiO_(2)nanoreactor showed superior sulfur and water *** functional theory(DFT)calculations verified that the Co-Si catalyst had high SO_(2)adsorption energy(-0.48 eV),which illustrated that SO_(2)was hard to attach to the surface of the Co-Si *** SiO_(2)nanoreactor had low SO_(2)adsorption energy(-5.15 eV),which indicated that SO_(2)was easily absorbed on SiO_(2)*** illustrated that the SiO_(2)nanoreactor could protect effectively active sites from SO_(2)erosion.

The perfluorosulfonic acid(PFSA) membrane doped with two-dimensional conductive filler Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x) is a fuel cell proton exchange membrane with high application potential. Experimental studies showed that the proton conductivity of Nafion/Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x) composite membrane is improved significantly compared with that in pure Nafion. However, the microscopic mechanism of doping on the enhancement of membrane performance is remain unclear now. In this work, molecular dynamics simulation was used to investigate the microscopic morphology and proton transport behaviors of Nafion/Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x) composite membrane at the molecular level. The results shown that there were significant differences about the diffusion kinetics of water molecules and hydroxium ions in Nafion/Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x) at low and high hydration levels in the nanoscale *** the increase of water content, Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x) in membrane was gradually surrounded by ambient water molecules to form a hydration layer, and forming a relatively continuous proton transport channel between Nafion polymer and Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x) monomer. The continuous proton transport channel could increase the number of binding sites of proton and thus achieving high proton conductivity and high mobility of water molecules at higher hydration level. The current work can provide a theoretical guidance for designing new type of Nafion composite membranes.

Temporal and Spatial Trends in HIV Positivity Rate for VCT Clinics—China,2015–2022

Introduction:Human immunodeficiency virus(HIV)voluntary counseling and testing(VCT)clinics play a critical role in identifying and diagnosing HIV *** study aimed to describe the trend of HIV positivity rate(HPR)among Chinese VCT clinics between 2015 and ***:This study utilized data from the China Information System for Disease Control and Prevention to analyze the trend in the HPR for VCT clinics from 2015 to *** HPR was calculated by dividing the number of newly-reported HIV cases by the number of HIV tests,multiplied by 100%.To identify temporal and spatial trends in the HPR,we employed joinpoint regression analysis and the Getis-Ord hotspot ***:From 2015 to 2022,VCT clinics in China performed a total of 22,075,386 HIV tests,leading to the identification of 260,353 HIV cases,resulting in a HPR of 1.18%.The HPR consistently declined over the study period,with an average annual percent change(AAPC)of−7.5%(95%confidence interval:−12.6%,−2.2%,P<0.05).The number of HPR hotspots also decreased from 41 in 2015 to 23 in *** HPR hotspots were primarily located in Yunnan,Sichuan,Guangdong,and Guangxi provincial-level administrative divisions(PLADs).Among the 31 PLADs,16 showed a significant decrease in HPR during the study period(AAPC<0,PAAPC<0.05).Conclusions:VCT clinics in China have played a significant role in identifying HIV *** declining HPR observed in these clinics may indicates the progress has been made in some degree in mitigating HIV among high-risk ***,it is crucial to further improving the utilization of VCT clinics for HIV testing.

The widespread adoption of Maisotsenko gas turbine cycle(MGTC) is significantly constrained by the design and manufacturing complexity of the *** proposition of innovative approaches to regulate the water carrying capacity and operational environment of the saturator,coupled with the performance and economic evaluation of systems under various configurations,can substantially facilitate its commercial *** the conventional two-stage MGTC system that solely comprises aftercooling and regenerative processes,this study proposes a three-stage MGTC system with an intercooling process(IMGTC),which considers the reuse of cooling water and energy *** pricing allocation and energy depreciation characteristics of components are analyzed,and the impact of key variables is ***,economic optimization of the system is conducted using ISIGHT to identify the optimal parameter combination and *** results indicate that the saturator price of IMGTC is lower and its exergy efficiency is higher than that of *** average water capacity of the IMGTC saturator is only 57.4% of that of the MGTC saturator,but the average exergy efficiency of IMGTC is 1.1% higher than that of ***,external parameters all lead to the levelized cost of electricity(LCOE).Thermo-economic optimization shows that the optimal LCOE of IMGTC is 0.26%lower than that of *** study confirms the feasibility of IMGTC,as well as its thermodynamic and economic advantages over MGTC.
