The use of electrochemical-meta.lization-based volatile threshold switching selectors in cross-point arrays has been widely explored owing to their high on-off ratios and simple ***,these devices are unsuita.le for cross-point architectures because of the difficulty in controlling the random filament formation that results in large fluctuations in the threshold volta.e during *** this study,we investigated the unidirectional threshold transition characteristics associated with an Ag/GST/HfO_(x)/Pt-based bilayer selector and demonstrated the occurrence of a low leakage current(ta.e(Δ0.11 V).The bilayer structure could control the filament formation in the intermediate sta.e through the insertion of an HfO_(x) tunneling *** sta.king a bilayer selector with NiO_(x)based resistive random-access memory,the leakage and programming currents of the device could be significantly *** the crossbar array configuration,we performed equivalent circuit analysis of a one-selector oneresistor(1S1R) devices and estimated the optimal array size to demonstrate the applicability of the proposed *** maximum accepta.le crossbar array size of the 1S1R device with the Ag/GST/HfO_(x)/Pt/Ti/NiO_(x)/Pt structure was 5.29×10^(14)(N^(2),N=2.3×10^(7)).

Composite solid electrolytes(CSEs)have emerged as promising candidates for safe and high-energy–density solid-sta.e lithium meta. batteries(SSLMBs).However,concurrently achieving exceptional ionic conductivity and interface compatibility between the electrolyte and electrode presents a significant challenge in the development of high-performance CSEs for *** overcome these challenges,we present a method involving the in-situ polymerization of a monomer within a self-supported porous Li_(6.4)La_(3)Zr_(1.4)ta.(0.6)O_(12)(LLZT)to produce the *** synergy of the continuous conductive LLZT network,well-organized polymer,and their interface can enhance the ionic conductivity of the CSE at room ***,the in-situ polymerization process can also con-struct the integration and compatibility of the solid electrolyte–solid electrode *** synthesized CSE exhibited a high ionic conductivity of 1.117 mS cm^(-1),a significant lithium transference number of 0.627,and exhibited electrochemical sta.ility up to 5.06 V ***/Li+at 30℃.Moreover,the Li|CSE|LiNi_(0.8)Co_(0.1)Mn_(0.1)O_(2) cell delivered a discharge capacity of 105.1 mAh g^(-1) after 400 cycles at 0.5 C and 30℃,corresponding to a capacity retention of 61%.This methodology could be extended to a variety of ceramic,polymer electrolytes,or battery systems,thereby offering a viable strategy to improve the electrochemical properties of CSEs for high-energy–density SSLMBs.

Achieving historically anticipated improvement in the performance of integrated circuits is challenging,due to the increasing cost and complexity of the required technologies with each new *** overcome this limita.ion,the exploration and development of novel interconnect materials and processes are highly desirable in the microelectronics ***(Mo)is attracting attention as an advanced interconnect material due to its small resistivity size effect and high cohesive energy;however,effective processing methods for such materials have not been widely ***,we investigate the electrochemical behavior of ions in the confined nanopores that affect the electrical properties and microstructures of nanoscale Mo and Mo-Co alloys prepared via template-assisted *** in an electrolyte allow the deposition of extremely pure meta. materials,due to their interac-tion with meta. ions and *** this study,boric acid and tetrabutylammonium bisulfate(TBA)were added to an aceta.e bath to inhibit the hydrogen evolution *** accelerated the reduction of Mo at the surface by inducing surface conduction on the *** Mo nanowires with a 130 nm diameter synthesized through high-aspect-ratio nanopore engineering exhibited a resistivity of(63.0±17.9)μΩ*** also evaluated the resistivities of Mo-Co alloy nanowires at various compo-sitions toward replacing irreducible conventional barrier/liner *** intermeta.lic compound formed at a Mo composition of 28.6 at%,the resistivity of the Mo-Co nanowire was(58.0±10.6)μΩcm,indicat-ing its superior electrical and adhesive properties in comparison with those of conventional barriers such as ta. and ***,density functional theory and non-equilibrium Green's function calcula-tions confirmed that the vertical resista.ce of the via structure constructed from Mo-based materials was 21%lower than that of a conventional Cu/ta.ta. structure.

To control water impairment in urban storm- water, it is importa.t to evaluate changing patterns of water quality parameters in stormwater runoff. Thus, the authors performed a series of experiments to investigate the dynamics of common water parameters during storm events in semi-arid areas, with multiple samples collected and analyzed in field stormwater applications. At this field monitoring site within McAuliffe Park, McAllen, Texas, in the United Sta.es, a storm event increased the concentra- tions of Escherichia coli （E. coli）, but this event represented a decreasing trend over the entire event period. Besides, peak intensity of different polluta.ts in the stormwater runoff occurred at different times other than at any peak flows, representing a complexity of the temporal and spatial measurements. Multi-sample per- event approaches recommended based on the complexity of the hydrograph and different peak intensity times of polluta.ts. In addition, high bacteria and tota. suspended solids （TSS） concentrations in the initial sta.e of the storm event should be considered when designing Best Manage- ment Practices （BMPs） and Low Impact Developments （LIDs）. New strategies and solutions for addressing ecohydrological challenges should be proposed to avoid collateral damages to their both common wealth in ecosystems and human well-beings.

Electrical resistivity evolution in electrodeposited Ru and Ru-Co nanowires

Nanoscale ruthenium(Ru)-based materials are promising replacements for existing multilayered Cu interconnects in integrated ***,it is not easy to apply the results of previously reported studies directly to the electrochemical damascene process because the previous studies have mainly focused on thin flms by dry ***,we report the electrical resistivity and microstructure of electrodeposited Ru *** estimate that the resistivity value of a 10 nm diameter Ru nanowire to be71.6μΩcm after analyzing the resistivity values of individual nanowires with various ***,we investigate the electrical properties of Ru_(x)Co_(1-x)nanowires where x is 0.04–0.99 at.%as possible replacements of the current ta.N barrier *** the entire composition range,the resistivity values of alloys are much lower than that of the conventional ta.***,Ru and Ru-alloy nanowires surrounded by dielectric silica are thermally sta.le after 450°C heat ***,the nanoscale Ru and Ru-Co alloys possessing low resistivity values can be candidates for the interconnect and barrier materials,respectively.

Tetrahedral amorphous carbon(ta.C)has emerged as an excellent coating material for improving the reliability of application components under high normal ***,we present the results of our investigations regarding the mechanical and tribological properties of a 2‐μm‐thick multilayer ta.C coating on high‐speed steel *** composed of alternating soft and hard layers are fabricated using filtered a cathodic vacuum arc with alternating substrate bias volta.es(0 and 100 V or 0 and 150 V).The thickness ratio is discovered to be 1:3 for the sp2‐rich and sp3‐rich *** results show that the hardness and elastic modulus of the multilayer ta.C coatings increase with the sp3 content of the hard *** hardness reached approximately 37 GPa,whereas an improved toughness and a higher adhesion strength(>29 N)are *** friction performance(μ=0.07)of the multilayer coating is similar to that of the single layer ta.C thick coating,but the wear rate(0.13×10^(–6) mm^(3)/(N∙m))improved under a high load of 30 *** further demonstrate the importa.ce of the multilayer structure in suppressing crack propagation and increasing the resista.ce to plastic deformation(H3/E2)ratio.

We extract the 3 D phase△and the Stokes parameter S3 of a transmissive anisotropic object spatially using an interferometric Polar *** parallel interferograms with a phase shift ofπ/2 between the images are captured in a single snapshot and then reconstructed by the four-bucket algorithm to extract the 3 D phase of the *** S3 is then calculated directly from the obta.ned 3 D phase△.The extracted results of△and S3 were compared with those extracted from the non-interferometric Polar Cam and the Thorlabs polarimeter,and the results match quite *** merit of using the interferometric Polar Cam is that no mechanical movement mechanisms are included,and hence the△and S3 of the object can be extracted,with high accuracy and within a part of a second(three times faster than non-interferometric Polar Cam and Thorlabs polarimeter methods).Moreover,this method can be applied in the field of the dynamic spectro–interferometric Polar Cam and can be implemented using swept-wavelength approaches.

To enable the computer-aided design of vertically sta.ked two-dimensional(2D)van der Waals(vdW)heterostructure devices,we here introduce a non-equilibrium first-principles simulation method based on the multi-space constrained-search density functional *** it to graphene/few-layer hBN/graphene field-effect transistors,we show that the negative differential resista.ce(NDR)characteristics can be produced not only from the gating-induced mismatch between two graphene Dirac cones in energy-momentum space but from the bias-dependent energetic shift of defect ***,for a carbon atom substituted for a nitrogen atom(C_(N))within inner hBN layers,the increase of bias volta.e is found to induce a self-consistent electron filling of in-gap C_(N)sta.es,which in turn changes volta.e drop profiles and produces symmetric NDR *** the CN placed on outer hBN layers,however,the pinning of C_(N)sta.es to nearby graphene significantly modifies device characteristics,demonstrating the critical impact of atomic deta.ls for 2D vdW devices.

The insistent demand for space-controllable delivery,which reduces the side effects of non-steroidal antiinflammatory drugs(NSAIDs),has led to the development of a new theranostics-based approach for anti-inflammatory *** current anti-inflammatory treatments can be improved by designing a drug delivery system responsive to the inflammatory site biomarker,hydrogen polysulfide(H_(2)S_(n)).Here,we report a noveltheranostic agent 1(ta.),consisting of three parts:H_(2)S_(n)-mediated triggering part,a two-photon fluorophore bearing mitochondria ta.geting unit(Rhodol-TPP),and anti-inflammatory COX inhibitor(indomethacin).In vitro experiments showed that ta. selectively reacts with H_(2)S_(n)to concomita.tly release both Rhodol-TPP and ***-microscopy imaging of inflammation-inducedlive cells suggested that ta. is localized in the mitochondria where the H_(2)S_(n)is *** ta. reacted with H_(2)S_(n)in the endogenous and exogenous H_(2)S_(n)environments and in lipopolysaccharide treated inflammatory ***,ta. suppressed COX-2 level in the inflammatory-induced cells and prosta.landin E 2(PGE2)level in blood serum from inflammation-induced mouse *** vivo experiments with inflammation-induced mouse models suggested that ta. exhibits inflammation-site-elective drug release followed by significant therapeutic e ects,showing its function as a theranostic agent,capable of both anti-inflammatory therapy and precise *** behavior of ta. is highly applicable in vivo model therapeutics for the inflammatory disease.

We generated a human dendritic cell-specific ICAM-3-grabbing non-integrin(DC-SIGN)transgenic mouse in which renal tubular epithelial cells expressed *** transgenic mice were infected with Candida albicans intravenously to study how DC-SIGN expression affected the pathogenesis of systemic *** discovered that,while *** infection induced renal fibrosis in both transgenic and littermate control mice,the transgenic mice had significantly lower levels of Acta.,Col1a2,Col3a1,and Col4a1 mRNA transcripts compared to the ***-1,an emerging biomarker for kidney injury,along with Tnf,Il6,and Tgfb1 transcripts,were lower in infected transgenic mice,and yet,the levels of Il10 remained comparable to the *** renal CD45+infiltrating cells were the source of Tnf,Il6,and Il10,LTL+renal proximal tubular epithelial cells were TGF-β1 producers in both infected transgenic and littermate ***-SIGN-expressing tubular epithelial cells produced less TGF-β1 in response to *** *** vivo experiments demonstrated that renal proximal tubular epithelial cell production of TGF-β1 was key to ***-induced renal fibrosis and *** of transgenic mice induced a marked increase of phosphorylated Raf-1 and p38 in the ***,ERK1/2 and JNK phosphorylation was more pronounced in the infected-littermate ***,treating the infected transgenic mice with a Raf-1 inhibitor increased the levels of the Tgfb1,kim1,and Acta. *** results indicate that DC-SIGN signaling,through activation of Raf-1 and p38 and suppression of JNK and ERK1/2 phosphorylation,reduces TGF-β1 production and ***-induced renal *** study reveals for the first time the effect of DC-SIGN expression on ***-induced renal fibrosis.
