KEY FACTORS FOR EFFICIENTLY IMPLEMENTING CUSTOMIZED E-LEARNING SYSTEM IN THE SERVICE INDUSTRY

In recent years, e-learning system has been adopted as a training tool in many firms, as it can help employees to complete training in a short time and at a low cost. Within this context, since 2003 the Industrial Development Bureau （IDB） of the Ministry of Economic Affairs （MOEA） in taiwan sponsored more than 50 enterprises each year to help them implement customized e-learning systems. Past research on e-learning mostly focused on one criterion and adopted regression approach, such as examining the relationships between satisfaction or continued usage intentions and various antecedent factors. Although the regression method could uncover the significant factors of e-learning adoption, they can not show the can （weighting） of each factor, and thus firms cannot allocate the optimal levels of resources. To overcome this problem, this study collected factors related to finns implementing customized e-learning systems from a review of the literature and expert opinions, and then constructed a hierarchical factor table. Based on the appropriateness and independence of factors, and as assessed by experts in the project promotion office of the IDB, e-learning solution providers and project leaders of the IDB sponsored enterprises, this paper then designed an Analytical Hierarchy Process （AHP） format questionnaire and sent it to these same experts to gather their responses. The factor weightings were derived based on the Fuzzy Analytic Hierarchy Process （FAHP） method. Finally, analysis of key factors was performed and recommendations provided. Based on the results for this work, service industry firms with limited resources can achieve proper resource allocation and more quickly and successfully adopt customized e-Learning systems.

Propofol pump controls nonconvulsive status epilepticus in a hepatic encephalopathy patient: A case report

BACKGROUND Status epilepticus is an emergent and critical condition which needs management without hesitation. Nonconvulsive status epilepticus (NCSE) tends to be less recognized, and its diagnosis is delayed in comparison with overt status epilepticus because of the absence of specific clinical signs. It is often difficult to make a diagnosis, particularly in patients with hepatic encephalopathy. CASE SUMMARY A 38-year-old man with a history of alcoholic liver cirrhosis presented with altered mental status;the initial diagnosis was hepatic encephalopathy. Although optimal treatment for hepatic encephalopathy was administered, the patient's mental status did not improve. A final diagnosis of NCSE was made by continuous electroencephalogram (EEG) monitoring. Treatment with levetiracetam and propofol pump was immediately started. The patient’s consciousness gradually improved after discontinuation of propofol therapy, and no further epileptic discharge was observed by EEG monitoring. After 1 wk, the patient returned to full consciousness, and he was able to walk in the hospital ward without assistance. He was discharged with minimal sequela of bilateral conjunctivitis. CONCLUSION In cases of persistent altered mental status without reasonable diagnosis, NCSE should be considered in hepatic encephalopathy patients with persistently altered levels of consciousness, and EEG monitoring is very important. We also recommend propofol as a safe and efficient therapy for NCSE in liver cirrhosis patients.

A Deep Learning-Based Continuous Blood Pressure Measurement by Dual Photoplethysmography Signals

This study proposed a measurement platform for continuous blood pressure estimation based on dual photoplethysmography(PPG)sensors and a deep learning(DL)that can be used for continuous and rapid measurement of blood pressure and analysis of cardiovascular-related *** proposed platform measured the signal changes in PPG and converted them into physiological indicators,such as pulse transit time(PTT),pulse wave velocity(PWV),perfusion index(PI)and heart rate(HR);these indicators were then fed into the DL to calculate blood *** hardware of the experiment comprised 2 PPG components(i.e.,Raspberry Pi 3 Model B and analog-todigital converter[MCP3008]),which were connected using a serial peripheral *** DL algorithm converted the stable dual PPG signals acquired from the strictly standardized experimental process into various physiological indicators as input parameters and finally obtained the systolic blood pressure(SBP),diastolic blood pressure(DBP)and mean arterial pressure(MAP).To increase the robustness of the DL model,this study input data of 100 Asian participants into the training database,including those with and without cardiovascular disease,each with a proportion of approximately 50%.The experimental results revealed that the mean absolute error and standard deviation of SBP was 0.17±0.46 *** mean absolute error and standard deviation of DBP was 0.27±0.52 *** mean absolute error and standard deviation of MAP was 0.16±0.40 mmHg.

Subtle traps prediction using sequence stratigraphy and 3D seismic technology: A case study from Qikou depression in Huanghua basin

Forecasting subtle traps by sequence stratigraphy and 3D seismic data is a sensitive topic in hydrocarbon exploration. Research on subtle traps by geophysical data is the most popular and difficult. Based on the sufficiently drilling data, log data, core data and 3D seismic data, sediment sequence of Qikou depression, Huanghua basin was partitioned by using sequence stratigraphy theory. Each sediment sequence system mode was built. Sediment faces of subtle traps were pointed out. Dominating factors forming subtle traps were analyzed. Sandstone seismic rock physics and its response were studied in Tertiary System. Sandstone geophysical response and elastic modulus vary laws with pressure, temperature, porosity, depth were built. Experimental result and practice shows that it is possible using seismic information forecasting subtle traps. Integrated using geology, log, drilling data, special seismic processing technique, interpretation technique, high precision horizon calibration technique, 3D seismic visualizing interpretation, seismic coherence analysis, attribute analysis, logging-constrained inversion, time frequency analysis, subtle trapsobject is identified and interpreted. Finally, advantage object of subtle trap in this area was determined. Bottomland sand stratigraphic and lithologic reservoirs in Qinan slope zone have been founded by means of high resolution 3D seismic data field technique, high resolution 3D seismic data processing technique and seismic wave impendence inversion technique.

Analysis and calculation of thermal conductivity of rock in deep strata

The thermal conductivity of rock is an important parameter for the deep mine and the geothermal development. It is often not possible to measure the thermal conductivity of the rocks present in the deep strata, and the usual approach is to calculate thermal conductivity including mineralogy and porosity. The compositions of core samples from the MID01 borehole in the Bjorko area were determined, and the mineral composition was classified. The calculation of the thermal conductivity of rock in the borehole was carried out, and the main factors for the thermal conductivity of rock were analyzed. The results show that the calculated thermal conductivity of rock is reliable and useful for the design and calculation of geothermal development in the Bjorko area.

We generated a human dendritic cell-specific ICAM-3-grabbing non-integrin(DC-SIGN)transgenic mouse in which renal tubular epithelial cells expressed *** transgenic mice were infected with Candida albicans intravenously to study how DC-SIGN expression affected the pathogenesis of systemic *** discovered that,while *** infection induced renal fibrosis in both transgenic and littermate control mice,the transgenic mice had significantly lower levels of Acta2,Col1a2,Col3a1,and Col4a1 mRNA transcripts compared to the ***-1,an emerging biomarker for kidney injury,along with Tnf,Il6,and Tgfb1 transcripts,were lower in infected transgenic mice,and yet,the levels of Il10 remained comparable to the *** renal CD45+infiltrating cells were the source of Tnf,Il6,and Il10,LTL+renal proximal tubular epithelial cells were TGF-β1 producers in both infected transgenic and littermate ***-SIGN-expressing tubular epithelial cells produced less TGF-β1 in response to *** *** vivo experiments demonstrated that renal proximal tubular epithelial cell production of TGF-β1 was key to ***-induced renal fibrosis and *** of transgenic mice induced a marked increase of phosphorylated Raf-1 and p38 in the ***,ERK1/2 and JNK phosphorylation was more pronounced in the infected-littermate ***,treating the infected transgenic mice with a Raf-1 inhibitor increased the levels of the Tgfb1,Kim1,and Acta2 *** results indicate that DC-SIGN signaling,through activation of Raf-1 and p38 and suppression of JNK and ERK1/2 phosphorylation,reduces TGF-β1 production and ***-induced renal *** study reveals for the first time the effect of DC-SIGN expression on ***-induced renal fibrosis.

Techniques and accuracy of thoracolumbar pedicle screw placement

Pedicle screw instrumentation has been used to stabilize the thoracolumbar spine for several decades. Although pedicle screws were originally placed via a freehand technique, there has been a movement in favor of pedicle screw placement with the aid of imaging. Such assistive techniques include fluoroscopy guidance and stereotactic navigation. Imaging has the benefit of increased visualization of a pedicle's trajectory, but can result in increased morbidity associated with radiation exposure, increased time expenditure, and possible workflow interruption. Many institutions have reported high accuracies with each of these three core techniques. However, due to differing definitions of accuracy and varying radiographic analyses, it is extremely difficult to compare studies side-by-side to determine which techniques are superior. From the literature, it can be concluded that pedicles of vertebrae within the mid-thoracic spine and vertebrae that have altered morphology due to scoliosis or other deformities are the most difficult to cannulate. Thus, spine surgeons would benefit the most from using assistive technologies in these circumstances. All other pedicles in thethoracolumbar spine should theoretically be cannulated with ease via a free-hand technique, given appropriate training and experience. Despite these global recommendations, appropriate techniques must be chosen at the surgeon's discretion. Such determinations should be based on the surgeon's experience and the specific pathology that will be treated.
