vascular cambium produces the phloem and xylem,vascular tissues that transport resources and provide mechanical support,making it an ideal target for crop ***,much remains unknown about how vascular cambium *** this study,through pharmaceutical and genetic manipulation of reactive oxygen species(ROS)maxima,we demonstrate a direct link between levels of ROS and activity of LATERAL ORGAN BOUNDARIES DOMAIN 11(LBD11)in maintaining vascular cambium ***11 activates the transcriptionof several keyROS metabolic genes,including PEROXIDASE71and RESPIRATORY BURST OXIDASE HOMOLOGS D and F,to generate local ROS maxima in cambium,which in turn enhance the proliferation of cambial *** a negative feedback mechanism,higher Ros levels then repress LBD11 expression and maintain the balance of cambial cell *** findings thus reveal the role of a novel LBD11/ROS-dependent feedback regulatory system in maintaining vascular cambiumspecific redox homeostasis and radial growth inplants.

Purpose: vietnam rice has long been a product of international stature. In the commodity export of vietnam, rice always plays as key agricultural commodities, with contributions billions of dollars each year in total export value. It not only contributes to the overall growth of the economy, but also gradually affirms vietnam’s position on the international rice market. According to General Statistics Office, in 2012, vietnam produced 43.7 million tonnes of rice and exported record 8.047 million tonnes of rice, contributing to the total export value of $3.689 million. However, it has not still been commensurate with the value and potential of rice from vietnam. In addition, the fact is that in recent years, although export rice increased sharply, bringing many records for vietnam, it had lower prices than other rice exporting countries (Thailand, India, Pakistan). So what is the cause and solution to enhance competitiveness and promote export of rice products in viet Nam? In the increasingly complex international context, besides socio-economic development, security and national defense, food security has become a matter of international concern. The article first discusses the competitiveness, the value of rice exports and the need to improve competitiveness and export value of rice in the Mekong Delta. Then, there are some solutions proposed to improve the competitiveness and export of rice in the Mekong Delta in the coming time.

Genomic Prediction of Arsenic Tolerance and Grain Yield in Rice: Contribution of Trait-Specific Markers and Multi-Environment Models

Many rice-growing areas are affected by high concentrations of arsenic(As).Rice varieties that prevent As uptake and/or accumulation can mitigate As threats to human *** selection is known to facilitate rapid selection of superior genotypes for complex *** explored the predictive ability(PA)of genomic prediction with single-environment models,accounting or not for trait-specific markers,multi-environment models,and multi-trait and multi-environment models,using the genotypic(1600K SNPs)and phenotypic(grain As content,grain yield and days to flowering)data of the Bengal and Assam Aus *** the base-line single-environment model,PA of up to 0.707 and 0.654 was obtained for grain yield and grain As content,respectively;the three prediction methods(Bayesian Lasso,genomic best linear unbiased prediction and reproducing kernel Hilbert spaces)were considered to perform similarly,and marker selection based on linkage disequilibrium allowed to reduce the number of SNP to 17K,without negative effect on PA of genomic ***-environment models giving distinct weight to trait-specific markers in the genomic relationship matrix outperformed the base-line models up to 32%.Multi-environment models,accounting for genotype×environment interactions,and multi-trait and multi-environment models outperformed the base-line models by up to 47%and 61%,*** the multi-trait and multi-environment models,the Bayesian multi-output regressor stacking function obtained the highest predictive ability(0.831 for grain As)with much higher efficiency for computing *** findings pave the way for breeding for As-tolerance in the progenies of biparental crosses involving members of the Bengal and Assam Aus *** prediction can also be applied to breeding for other complex traits under multiple environments.

Hormonal therapies may play a role in the treatment of bipolar disorder. Preliminary evidence suggests that: 1) tamoxifen has anti-manic properties;2) hormone replacement therapy represents a good augmentation strategy in treatment-resistant peri-menopausal depression;and 3) certain oral contraceptives could prevent menstrual exacerbations of affective symptoms. Potential neurobiological mechanisms of the anti-manic effects of tamoxifen include the inhibition of protein kinase C in addition its anti-estrogenic effects. Estrogen is a serotonergic and adrenergic agonist as well as an agent promoting neurogenesis in the hippocampus through glutamatergic synaptic formation, which may be the basis of its antidepressant activity. Progesterone appears to decrease serotonergic and adrenergic tone and activity, while increasing GABAA receptor activation through its active metabolite allopregnanolone, which may be the basis of its anxiolytic, sedative, and potentially anti-manic properties. Although there is consistency between the evidence for clinical efficacy and neurobiological mechanisms of hormonal treatments, the current state of knowledge relies on studies with several methodological limitations. On the other hand, benefits of hormonal treatment include protection from osteoporosis and several gynecological cancers, as well as safe contraception in a population at-risk for unplanned pregnancy. Nonetheless, hormonal treatments should be reserved for treatment-resistant bipolar depression or mania, or when contra-indications to other psychotropic medications are present. Institution of regular monitoring for medical complications and drug-drug interactions are essential to minimize risks and maximize benefits.

In this work,the etherification of glycerol with n-butanol catalyzed by sulfonic acid functionalized on KIT-6 mesoporous silica(SO_(3)H-KIT-6)was investigated for the production of valuable fuel *** SO_(3)H-KIT-6 catalyst was synthesized by co-condensation with different molar ratios of tetraethoxysilane and 3-mercaptopropyl(methyl)di-methoxy *** etherification reaction was systematically examined to determine the optimal reaction temperature,reaction time,catalyst loading,and glycerol to n-butanol ratio under autogenous *** maximum glycerol conversion and di-glyceryl n-butyl ether(di-GNBE)selectivity were 59.09 and 51.50%,respectively,when the SO_(3)H-KIT-6 catalyst with the highest acidity was ***,the presence of a methyl group on the catalyst surface prevented glycerol adsorption during the reaction process,leading to the inhibition of undesired product *** SO_(3)H-KIT-6 catalyst could be reused up to three times,with only a 13%decrease in glycerol conversion being ***,the superior performance of the SO_(3)H-KIT-6 catalyst for di-GNBE production was also demonstrated compared with conventional solid acid catalysts including HZSM-5,H-beta zeolite,Amberlyst-35,and Amberlyst-36.

Genome-wide association study(GWAS)was performed for 16 agronomic traits including nitrogen use efficiency(NUE)and yield-related components using a panel of 190 mainly japonica rice varieties and a set of 38390 single nucleotide polymorphism(SNP)*** panel was evaluated under rainfed upland conditions in Madagascar in two consecutive cropping seasons with two contrasted nitrogen input *** another set of five grain traits,we identified previously known genes(GW5,GS3,Awn1 and Glabrous1),thus validating the pertinence and accuracy of our datasets for GWAS.A total of 369 significant associations were detected between SNPs and agronomic traits,gathered into 46 distinct haplotype groups and 28 isolated *** association signals were identified for the complex quantitative trait NUE,however,larger number of quantitative trait loci(QTLs)were detected for its component traits,with 10 and 2 association signals for nitrogen utilization efficiency and nitrogen uptake efficiency,*** detected association signals co-localized with genes involved in nitrogen transport or nitrogen remobilization within 100 *** present study thus confirmed the potential of GWAS to identify candidate genes and new loci associated with agronomic ***,because of the quantitative and complex nature of NUE-related traits,GWAS might have not captured a large number of QTLs with limited effects.

在越南的商品出口中,大米一直是重要的农产品,每年出口总值数十亿美元。它不仅有助于经济的整体增长,也逐渐奠定了越南在国际大米市场上的地位。但是,它还没有与越南大米的价值和潜力相称。此外,事实是近年来虽然出口大米急剧增加,为越南带来了许多记录,但价格低于其他大米出口国(泰国,印度,巴基斯坦)。更重要的是,大米加工和出口企业在质量和价格方面始终面临着与区域竞争者和世界强大的大米出口国的高度竞争。研究和评估形势并澄清影响因素,从中提出一些高度可行的合适解决方案,以促进一般农产品和特别是越南大米的出口。这对今天越南的理论和实践方面都有重要意义。因此,论文的重点是解决以下一些基本问题:本论文从研究方法和研究成果两个方面回顾了世界和国内20多个与水稻出口有关的研究项目。因此,通过能力理论研究和当前越南大米出口企业特征分析,结合本课题竞争力的视角,综合和补充提出了影响企业竞争力的6个主要因素。,这些因素包括:(1)管理组织能力;(2)营销能力;(3)财政能力;(4)获取和创新技术的能力;(5)服务组织能力和(6)建立关系的能力。特别是,该研究重点分析了湄公河三角洲地区水稻生产企业的竞争力,通过描述性统计,比较,聚类图表等定量研究方法来描述当前形势,并分析了湄公河三角洲地区大米出口部门的商业环境。同时,使用问卷调查和访谈方法收集数据。采用Logistic回归分析模型,找出影响和确定企业竞争力评价标准的因素。此外,该研究还分析了湄公河三角洲地区水稻生产企业竞争力的组成部分。通过数据的分析,提出可行的解决方案,以帮助提高湄公河三角洲大米出口业企业的竞争力。该研究还建议国家组织和专门机构更加关注和支持中小企业在湄公河三角洲地区加工和出口大米的竞争,同时为企业创造最大的条件和支持,使企业站稳脚跟,面对地区和世界的竞争。

农业经济是越南经济的重要支柱之一,对越南经济发展有着重要的作用。农产品贸易是越南与世界各国交流的重要渠道之一,尤其是与越南相邻的国家的贸易,其中越南与中国之间的农产品贸易已有不少的成就,体现两国良好的贸易合作关系。越南与中国的农业既有很多的相似性,又有不少的差异,产生了互补的特性,两国之间的农业贸易发展较好。如果加强两国之间的农产品贸易就可以促进经济合作,促进两国自身的农业经济的发展等,因此研究越中农产品产业内贸易的影响因素及其发展策略是有意义的一项研究工作。本文以产业内贸易相关理论作为研究的理论基础,通过越南与中国的农产品贸易发展状况的分析、大量农产品进出口数据的收集与整理,结合相关的贸易指数进行实证分析,得出准确的、客观的结果,进而分析越中农产品产业内贸易的特点,并探讨两国农业贸易发展的有效策略。第一章和第二章的内容主要是立题依据及研究内容的确认。首先,分析了研究的现实背景与理论背景,从背景中确定立题的价值及意义。其次,以大量的文献阅读为基础,对产业内贸易理论进行深入地研究,并通过发现以往的两国农产品贸易研究的不足点进行挖掘,建立自己有一定创新意义的研究方向与方法。第三章,首先以越南农业近代至今的发展历程、成就及限制进行分析,详细描述越南农业发展的现状。其次,通过越南和中国之间的农产品贸易数据来分析越中农产品贸易的现状及特点。最后,提取一些代表的农产品的贸易情况来分析越中两国之间的农产品产业内贸易及其特点。第四章,主要内容就是用显示性比较优势指数(RCA)和贸易竞争优势指数(TCI)来进行分析越南与中国农产品产业内贸易的竞争力与比较优势。从数据的分析可以清楚地了解两国之间一些主要农产品的贸易状况及其原因。第五章,集中分析越中农产品产业内贸易的一些主要影响因素,包括:农业在越中两国经济发展中的地位、越中农产品贸易政策、市场需求因素以及其他因素。第六章,在整体研究成果的基础上进行归纳总结,进而提出促进越中两国农产品贸易发展的相关政策建议。
