This paper describes attitude dynamics properties of spinning,momentum-biased and zero-momentum solar sail *** model called“Generalized Sail Dynamics Model”(GSDM)is introduced,which can deal with general and practical sail configurations,such as arbitrary optical property distribution,shape and surface *** stability criteria and other key dynamical characteristics are derived and compared by compact analytical equations induced from the *** newly derived zero-momentum sail dynamics is compared with that of spinning and momentum-biased *** is shown that the spinning and momentum sails have an advantage in terms of dynamical stability whereas zero-momentum sails are only statically *** this special property,angular momentum-stabilized sails can realize a sun-pointing stable attitude with almost zero-fuel,which are discussed with actual space flight experience of the JAXA’s two interplanetary missions,IKAROS and Hayabusa2.

Crystal structure prediction based on first-principles calculations is often achieved by applying relaxation to randomly generated initial *** a structure requires multiple optimization *** is time consuming to fully relax all the initial structures,but it is difficult to figure out which initial structure leads to the optimal solution in *** this paper,we propose a optimization method for crystal structure prediction,called Look Ahead based on Quadratic Approximation,that optimally assigns optimization steps to each candidate *** allows us to identify the most stable structure with a minimum number of total local optimization *** simulations using known systems Si,NaCl,Y_(2)Co_(17),Al_(2)O_(3),and GaAs showed that the computational cost can be reduced significantly compared to random *** method can be applied for controlling all kinds of local optimizations based on first-principles calculations to obtain best results under restricted computational resources.

Certain aspects of social behavior help animals make adaptive decisions during encounters with other *** mice choose to approach another conspecific,the motivation and preference behind the interaction is not well *** and oxytocin are known to influence a wide array of social behaviors,including social motivation and social *** present study investigated the effects of estrogen and oxytocin on social preference using aromatase(ArKO),estrogen receptor(ER)α(αERKO),ERβ(βERKO),oxytocin(OTKO),oxytocin receptor(OTRKO)knockout and their respective wild-type(WT)male *** were presented with gonadally-intact versus castrated male(IC),intact male versus ovariectomized female(IF),or intact male versus empty cage(IE)stimuli sets for 5 *** showed no preference for either stimuli in IC and IF and intact male preference in IE,but ArKO mice preferred a castrated male or an ovariectomized female,or had no preference for either stimulus in IC,IF and IE stimuli sets,respectively,suggesting reduced intact male preference.αandβWT mice preferred a castrated male,showed no preference,and preferred an intact male in IC,IF and IE,respectively.αERKO mice displayed similar modified social preference patterns as ArKO,whereas the social preference ofβERKO mice remained similar toβ*** preferred a castrated male whereas OTKO,OTRWT and OTRKO mice failed to show any preference in IC and none showed preference for either stimuli in ***,these findings suggest that estrogen regulates social preference in male mice and that impaired social preference in oxytocin-deficient mice may be due to severe deficits in social recognition.

In this paper, a running cost is cheap from the thing used for harmless peening treatment to the environment, health which an influence is rare in toward processing material like heat being only water fundamentally, and economical, and the characteristics is hard to get are given. There is some research about the residual stress improvement by water-jet peening during the high-speed water. In this study, a big bubble cloud ceremony water-jet peening which dissolves the problem of the form of the applicable thing by exposing the whole of the applicable thing in the big bubble cloud as the way of dealing with peening efficiently in a short time is proposed by this research. Moreover, the uniform compression residual stress is added around the surface of the processing side, and connected with the remarkable improvement of the fatigue strength of the part. Furthermore, and safety processing is very possible, and it thinks about the thing which has possible high practical use, and writers to get rid of the problems of the way of processing it with peening until now. Water-jet peening was given by this research during high-speed water with big bubble cloud-type water toward tooth gear manufactured by SCr420H3 V2 to open the effect of water-jet peening during the high-speed water. A change was measured at the time as the sutra of the residual stress on the surface of the test settlement by the X-ray method, and the validity of this law was verified.

Severe acute cholestatic hepatitis of unknown etiology successfully treated with the Chinese herbal medicine Inchinko-to (TJ-135)

Severe acute hepatitis of unknown etiology is difficult to treat and often progresses to subacute fulminant hepatitis or late-onset hepatic failure. A 45-year-old wellnourished, healthy man had progressive fatigue and his liver function tests showed severe liver dysfunction. The etiology of sever acute cholestatic hepatitis was unknown. The liver function tests normalized gradually, which excluded high persistent total bilirubin after starting on predonine. A liver biopsy showed chronic active hepatitis with mild f ibrosis (A2, F1). Oral Inchinko-to, a Chinese herbal medicine, at 7.5 g daily was prescribed. The treatment was effective with no adverse effects. We present a successfully treated case and discuss hepatoprotective and choleretic effects of Inchinko-to.

In an asteroid sample-return mission,accurate position estimation of the spacecraft relative to the asteroid is essential for landing at the target *** the missions of Hayabusa and Hayabusa2,the main part of the visual position estimation procedure was performed by human operators on the Earth based on a sequence of asteroid images acquired and sent by the *** this approach is still adopted in critical space missions,there is an increasing demand for automated visual position estimation,so that the time and cost of human intervention may be *** this paper,we propose a method for estimating the relative position of the spacecraft and asteroid during the descent phase for touchdown from an image sequence using state-of-the-art techniques of image processing,feature extraction,and structure from *** apply this method to real Ryugu images that were taken by Hayabusa2 from altitudes of 20 km-500 *** is demonstrated that the method has practical relevance for altitudes within the range of 5-1 *** result indicates that our method could improve the efficiency of the ground operation in the global mapping and navigation during the touchdown sequence,whereas full automation and autonomous on-board estimation are beyond the scope of this ***,we discuss the challenges of developing a completely automatic position estimation framework.

Effects of tomato juice on the pharmacokinetics of CYP3A4-substrate drugs

We previously demonstrated that tomato juice(TJ) contains potent mechanism-based inhibitor(s) of CYP3A4. In this study, we investigated the effects of TJ and grapefruit juice(GFJ)on the pharmacokinetics of the CYP3A4-substrate drugs, nifedipine(NFP) and midazolam(MDZ), in male Wistar rats. Oral administration of GFJ 90 min before the intraduodenal administration of NFP or MDZ increased the area under the concentration–time curves(AUCs)of NFP and MDZ by 32.4% and 89.4%, respectively. TJ increased MDZ blood concentrations and AUC after intraduodenal MDZ administration;however, it had no effect on NFP. When MDZ and NFP were intravenously administered, GFJ significantly increased the AUC of MDZ,but only slightly increased that of NFP. In contrast, TJ only slightly increased the AUC of *** results suggest that, similar to GFJ, TJ influences the pharmacokinetics of CYP3A4-substrate drugs;however, it may be a drug-dependent partial effect.

Objective： The mucus production is an indicator for the histological grade of mucinous epithelial ovarian cancer （mEOC）. In our previous study, Crk expression was targeted in the human ovarian mucinous adenocarcinoma cell line MCAS through RNA interference, resulting in the establishment of Crk knock down cells. These cells exhibited decreased tumorigenic potential both in vitro and in vivo. The purpose of this study was to investigate if there is any change in the capability of forming mucus in these Crk knock down cells. Methods： Cytoplasmic periodic acid Schiff （PAS） staining and particle excluding assay were conducted to assess the mucus formation within and around cells, respectively. Additionally, the amount of mucus formed in tumor lumps from nude mice model was measured following HE and PAS staining. Results： The increased mucus production in Crk knockdown mEOC cells （MCAS） was manifested by increased number of enlarged cells filled with vacuoles-like mucus observed by phase-contrast microscope and cytoplasmic PAS staining; and enhanced mucus secretion was represented by the assembly of pericellular matrix in particle excluding assay and increased mucus area in tumor lumps from nude mice models. Conclusion： The course of carcinogenesis in mEOC is associated with the altered pattern of mucus production and secretion. The adaptor protein Crk is implicated in both pathways.

Persistent perfluorinated organic compounds, such as perfluorooctane sulfonate (PFOS) and perfluorooctanoate (PFOA) are used in a variety of industrial applications. They are very stable in the environment, distribute widely in the global environment and in wild life, and are detected in human sera. Our searches have detected ppt levels of PFOS and PFOA in the surface water of Japan and China; their levels are generally more than ten times higher in city areas. Neither PFOS nor PFOA is removed by the purification process of city water. Both PFOS and PFOA are detected in sera of all the people of Japan and China (about 1000 times as high as those in surface water), and their concentrations are increasing in both countries, especially in China. PFOS and PFOA primarily distribute to the liver and cause the liver toxicity. They also cause developmental toxicity. PFOS which is not genotoxic in a variety of assay system including our in vivo comet assay, induced tumors of the liver, thyroid and mammary gland of rats. PFOA which is weakly carcinogenic is not mutagenic in many studies including our in vivo comet assay.
