Inspired by the importance of Redfield-type C:N:P ratios in global soils,we looked for analogous patterns in peatlands and aimed at deciphering the potential affecting factors.By analyzing a suite of peatlands soil data(n = 1031),mean soil organic carbon(SOC),total nitrogen(TN) and total phosphorous(TP) contents were 50.51%,1.45% and 0.13%,respectively,while average C:N,C:P and N:P ratios were 26.72,1186.00 and 46.58,respectively.C:N ratios showed smaller variations across different vegetation coverage and had less spatial heterogeneity than C:P and N:P ratios.No consistent C:N:P ratio,though with a general value of 1245:47:1,was found for entire peatland soils in China.The Northeast China,Tibet,Zoigê Plateau and parts of Xinjiang had high soil SOC,TN,TP,and C:P ratio.Qinghai,parts of the lower reaches of the Yangtze River,and the coast zones have low TP and N:P ratio.Significant differences for SOC,TN,TP,C:N,C:P and N:P ratios were observed across groups categorized by predominant vegetation.Moisture,temperature and precipitation all closely related to SOC,TN,TP and their pairwise ratios.The hydrothermal coefficient(RH),defined as annual average precipitation divided by temperature,positively and significantly related to C:N,C:P and N:P ratios,implying that ongoing climate change may prejudice peatlands as carbon sinks during the past 50 years in China.

Plant Diversity Performance After Natural Restoration in Reclaimed Deyeuxia angustifolia Wetland

Deyeuxia angustifolia wetlands were widely distributed in the Sanjiang Plain in Northeast China. Due to strong demand for food production, large-area wetlands were reclaimed to farmlands, which threatened regional ecological security greatly. Since the 21 th century, returning farmlands to wetlands was widely adopted for natural restoration in the Sangjiang Plain. As the first reflection of wetland restoration, vegetation succession of restored D. angustifolia wetlands should be fully assessed. In this study, vegetation investigation was carried out in three restored D. angustifolia wetlands with 5, 8 and 12 yr restoration, respectively. Meanwhile, a natural D. angustifolia wetland was selected as reference wetland. Results showed that community composition changed greatly and there was visible community succession. Community dominant species changed from composite to gramineae as restoration time increasing.At first, weeds community appeared in the restored wetlands, especially the xerophytes developed to the pioneer species rapidly. And then, mesophytes and wetland species became the dominant species in the restored wetlands. Finally, wetland species, especially D. angustifolia, occupied the dominant position of restored community. Shannon-wiener index(H) and Simpson index(D) both decreased to close to natural D. angustifolia wetlands. Compared with natural D. angustifolia wetland, species composition and diversity in restored wetlands were more complex and higher. As restoration time increasing, there were not significant differences between community characteristics of restored wetlands and natural wetland. All these suggested that vegetation in reclaimed D. angustifolia wetland could be restored naturally, but its restored period is 10 yr at least. From another angle, it is important to protect current natural wetlands.

Evolution of Potential Spatial Distribution Patterns of Carex Tussock Wetlands Under Climate Change Scenarios,Northeast China

Carex tussock plays an important role in supporting biodiversity and carbon sequestration of wetland ecosystems,while it is highly threatened by climate change and anthropogenic activities.Therefore,identifying the potential distribution patterns of Carex tussocks wetland is vital for their targeted conservation and restoration.The current and future(2050s and 2070s)potential habitats distribution of Carex tussocks in Northeast China were predicted using a Maximum Entropy(Maxent)model based on 68 current data of Carex tussock distributions and three groups of environmental variables(bioclimate,topography,soil properties).Results show that isothermality,seasonal precipitation variability and altitude are important factors that determine the distribution of Carex tussock.The high suitable habitat of Carex tussock is about 5.7×10^(4)km^(2) and mainly distributed in the Sanjiang Plain,Songnen Plain,Changbai Mountains and Da Hinggan Mountains.The area of stable habitats of Carex tussock is significantly higher than the lost and expanded habitats in the future climate scenarios,and the unsuitable habitats mainly occur in Da Hinggan Mountains,Xiao Hinggan Mountains and Changbai Mountains.Overall,Carex tussock wetlands at high altitude and high latitude are more sensitive to climate change,and more attention should be invested in high latitude and high altitude areas.

Herbaceous marsh is the most widely distributed type of marsh wetland ecosystem,and has important ecological functions such as water conservation,climate regulation,carbon storage and fixation,and sheltering rare species.The carbon sequestration function of herbaceous marsh plays a key role in slowing climate warming and maintaining regional environmental stability.Vegetation biomass is an important index reflecting the carbon sequestration capacity of wetlands.Investigating the biomass of marsh vegetation can provide a scientific basis for estimating the carbon storage and carbon sequestration capacity of marshes.Based on field survey data of aboveground biomass of herbaceous marsh vegetation and the distribution data set of marsh in China,we analyzed the aboveground biomass and its spatial distribution pattern of herbaceous marsh on a national scale for the first time.The results showed that in China the total area of herbaceous marsh was 9.7×10^(4) km^(2),the average density of aboveground biomass of herbaceous marsh vegetation was 227.5±23.0 g C m-2(95%confidence interval,the same below),and the total aboveground biomass was 22.2±2.2 Tg C(1 Tg=1012 g).The aboveground biomass density of herbaceous marsh vegetation is generally low in Northeast China and the Tibetan Plateau,and high in central North China and coastal regions in China.In different marsh distribution regions of China,the average biomass density of herbaceous marsh vegetation from small to large was as follows:temperate humid and semi-humid marsh region(182.3±49.3 g C m^(-2))

Remarkable Li-ion battery(LIB)anode materials need to have long cycle life and fast charge/discharge rate,however they are difficult to be realized in the monolayer anode materials.The monolayerβ-Bi has the stiffness of only 33.0 N/m,thus the Bi/G heterostructure is proposed to improve the electronic and mechanical properties and to produce better LIB anode performance in this paper.The calculated results show that Bi/G heterostructure has excellent thermodynamic,dynamical and mechanical stability.The band gap is only 0.04 eV,which ensures remarkable electrical conductivity.In addition,the Bi/G heterostructure has higher stiffness(369.2 N/m)than that of monolayerβ-Bi and graphene.The diffusion barrier(E_(barrier)) of 0.32 e V and volume expansion ratio(VER)of only 4%can ensure the rapid transport of Li^(+) ions in the charge/discharge cycling process and long life of the LIB.These calculated theoretical results for describing the detail properties of Li storage and diffusion in the Bi/G heterostructure can supply adequate conclusive evidence for the prediction of remarkable properties of Bi/G heterostructure as an anode material for LIBs.

湿地生态服务功能是湿地生态系统安全的重要表现形式,对服务功能进行评价能直观地反映湿地破坏情况或修复效果、量化分析其变化的影响因素。生态环境需水量是区域水资源供需状况和空间格局变化的表征,对湿地生态服务功能起到支撑作用。利用生态环境需水量,对湿地生态服务功能进行评价,能够阐明区域生态环境特征变化的原因,进而明确生态服务功能的变化。以莫莫格国家级自然保护区为研究区,利用土地利用、植被和水文数据,根据各项生态服务功能的组成及权重,对气候调节、资源供给和保障生态系统完整性3个重要的湿地生态服务功能指标进行定量计算。研究结果表明,1988年至1999年期间,莫莫格国家级自然保护区生态服务功能运行情况较好,2000年至2010年期间,生态系统服务功能整体随湿地的退化而逐渐减弱,2011年之后生态服务功能有所回升,说明保护工作开展有效,减缓了湿地退化速度,湿地生态服务功能逐步得到恢复。研究结果可以从生态环境需水量的角度服务于研究区的生态系统服务功能评价,结合降水量、气温等气候条件可以实现对湿地生态服务功能变化趋势的预测。

针对吉林省水资源可持续利用情况和用水压力问题,采用生态足迹模型,从时空角度对吉林省水资源生态足迹进行分析。结果表明:从时间上看,2004—2018年期间,吉林省水资源生态足迹呈先上升后下降趋势,水资源生态承载力受年降水量的影响,波动变化明显;全省总体水资源利用效率逐年提高,但最主要的农业用水形式仍处于水环境危险状态;从空间上看,2017年吉林省水资源生态足迹较高的区域集中在中西部城市,水资源生态承载力较高地区为东部城市;各市(州)中,白城市水资源生态亏损严重且水生态安全状况较差,白山市和延边州的水资源储备充足,开发潜力较大;全省水环境安全整体态势良好,但区域间水环境状况差异较大。因此,吉林省水资源存在短缺现象,政府部门应结合自身发展的实际情况,从农业、工业和生态环境等用水方面做出相应举措,以期实现吉林省水资源的可持续发展与利用。

In comparison to the traditional fixed-angle trajectory,the variable-angle trajectory has a greater design space.However,it is a challenge to determine which common design curve structure is the most effective for improving mechanical performance.This work explores the effects of various design curves such as fixed-angle curve,linear curve,arc curve,sine curve,Bezier curve,and cubic polynomial curve trajectories on mechanical performance of laminates,including vibration modal performance and buckling performance.Genetic algorithm and improved NSGA-II algorithm are then used to optimize various curve structures.The results are confirmed utilizing thermoplastic Carbon Fiber(CF)/Polyether-Ether-Ketone(PEEK)laminates made by robotic fiber placement experiments.The relationship model between different mechanical performance and curve design variables is established.The optimization of variable-angle structure with mechanical properties as input variables is achieved.Meanwhile,a full-process angle-variable laying software platform from trajectory planning(CAD),trajectory optimization to manufacturing(CAM)is developed for facilitating the fiber placement application.
