CD39 serves as a crucial biomarker for neoantigen-specific CD8^(+)T cells and is associated with antitumor activity and ***,the relationship between CD39 expression levels and the function of chimeric antigen receptor T(CAR-T)cells remains *** study aimed to investigate the role of CD39 in the functional performance of CAR-T cells against hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)and explore the therapeutic potential of CD39 modulators,such as mitochondrial division inhibitor-1(mdivi-1),or knockdown CD39 through short hairpin *** findings demonstrated that glypican-3-CAR-T cells with moderate CD39 expression exhibited a strong antitumor activity,while high and low levels of CD39 led to an impaired cellular *** modulating the proportion of CD39 intermediate(CD39^(int))-phenotype CAR-T cells such as mdivi-1 and CD39 knockdown enhanced and impaired T cell function,*** combination of mdivi-1 and CD39 knockdown in CAR-T cells yielded the highest proportion of infiltrated CD39^(int)CAR-T cells and demonstrated a robust antitumor activity in *** conclusion,this study revealed the crucial role of CD39 in CAR-T cell function,demonstrated the potential therapeutic efficacy of combining mdivi-1 with CD39 knockdown in HCC,and provided a novel treatment strategy for HCC patients in the field of cellular immunotherapy.

Accelerating solar driven CO_(2) reduction via sulfur-doping boosted water dissociation and proton transfer

Exploring efficient photocatalysts for solar driven CO_(2) reduction with water(H_(2)O)as a proton donor is highly imperative but remains a great challenge because the synchronous enhancement of CO_(2) activation,H_(2)O dissociation and proton transfer is hardly achieved on a ***,the sluggish H_(2)O dissociation impedes the photocatalytic CO_(2) reduction reaction involving multiple proton–electron coupling transfer ***,a sulfur-doped BiOCl(s-BiOCl)photocatalyst with abundant oxygen vacancies(OV)is developed,which exhibits broadband-light harvesting across solar spectrum and distinct photothermal effect due to *** photocatalytic CO_(2) reduction with H_(2)O in a gas–solid system,the high CO yield of 49.76μmol·g_(cat)^(-1)·h^(-1) with 100%selectivity is achieved over the s-BiOCl catalyst under a simulated *** H_(2)O-assisted CO_(2) reduction reaction on s-BiOCl catalyst is triggered by photocatalysis and the photothermal heating further enhances the reaction *** kinetic isotope experiments indicate that the sluggish H_(2)O dissociation affects the whole photocatalytic CO_(2) reduction *** presence of oxygen vacancies promotes the adsorption and activation of H_(2)O and CO_(2),and the doped s sites play a crucial role in boosting H_(2)O dissociation and accelerating the dynamic migration of hydrogen *** a result,the ingenious integration of OV defects,s sites and photothermal effect in s-BiOCl catalyst conjointly contributes to the significant improvement in photocatalytic CO_(2) reduction performance.

BACkGROUND To assess the effectiveness of shugan Jieyu capsules on peripheral blood miR-124,miR-132,and brain-derived neurotrophic factor(BDNF)levels in patients with mild to moderate depression following coronary artery intervention[percuta-neous coronary intervention(PCI)]for coronary heart *** with mild-to-moderate depression of the liver-qi stagnation type after PCI for coronary heart disease at the 305th Hospital of the People’s Liberation Army were enrolled from June 2022 to November 2023 and randomly assigned to two groups:Experimental(treated with shugan Jieyu capsules)and control(tr-eated with escitalopram oxalate tablets).This study compared the antidepressant effects of these treatments using 17-item Hamilton Rating scale for Depression(HAMD-17)scores,metabolic equivalents,low-density lipoprotein cholesterol,BDNF,high-sensitivity C-reactive protein levels,miR-124 and miR-132 levels,distribution of immune-related lymphocyte subsets,and traditional Chinese me-dicine syndrome scores before and after 6 weeks of *** No significant difference was observed in any index between the two groups before treatment(P>0.05).After treatment,the total efficacy rates were 93.33%and 90.00%in the experimental and control groups,*** group had significantly lower scores for the main and secondary syndromes compared to the control group(Psignificant difference was observed in the metabolic equivalents between the two groups be-fore and after treatment(P>0.05).The levels of low-density lipoprotein cholesterol,high-sensitivity C-reactive pro-tein,and miR-132 were significantly lower,whereas those of miR-124,BDNF,CD3+T lymphocytes,CD3+CD4+T helper lymphocytes,and CD3+CD4+/CD3+CD8+cells were significantly higher in the experimental group com-pared to the control group(Pse reactions during experimental group was signi-ficantly lower than that in control group(PsION shugan Jieyu capsu

Corilagin alleviates podocyte injury in diabetic nephropathy by regulating autophagy via the sIRT1-AMPk pathway

BACkGROUND Diabetic nephropathy(DN)is the most frequent chronic microvascular consequence of diabetes,and podocyte injury and malfunction are closely related to the development of *** have shown that corilagin(Cor)has hepatoprotective,anti-inflammatory,antibacterial,antioxidant,anti-hypertensive,antidiabetic,and anti-tumor *** To explore the protective effect of Cor against podocyte injury in DN mice and the underlying *** streptozotocin and a high-fat diet were combined to generate DN mice models,which were then divided into either a Cor group or a DN group(n=8 in each group).Mice in the Cor group were intraperitoneally injected with Cor(30 mg/kg/d)for 12 wk,and mice in the DN group were treated with *** analysis was used to measure the blood lipid *** and eosin staining was used to detect pathological changes in kidney *** and Western blotting were used to assess the protein expression of nephrin and *** podocyte cells(MPC5)were cultured and treated with glucose(5 mmol/L),Cor(50μM),high glucose(HG)(30 mmol/L),and HG(30 mmol/L)plus Cor(50μM).Real-time quantitative PCR and Western blotting REsULTs Compared with the control group,the DN mice models had increased fasting blood glucose,glycosylated hemoglobin,triglycerides,and total cholesterol,decreased nephrin and podocin expression,increased apoptosis rate,elevated inflammatory cytokines,and enhanced oxidative *** of the conditions mentioned above were alleviated after intervention with *** addition,Cor therapy improved sIRT1 and AMPk expression(Pspecies and oxidative stress,and elevated autophagy in HG-induced podocytes(PsION Cor alleviates podocyte injury by regulating autophagy via the sIRT1-AMPk pathway,thereby exerting its protective impact on renal function in DN mice.

For all-solid-state lithium batteries(AssLBs),polymer-blended solid composite electrolytes(sCEs)have drawn wide interest owing to their significance in improving the interfacial solid-solid contacts and inhibiting the growth of lithium *** this work,sCEs based on PVDF-HFP/PMMA matrix containing MOFs(NH2-MIL-53(Al))and LiTFsI were designed and synthesized employing an easy solution casting *** synthesized samples were examined by XRD,sEM,EDs,and electrochemical *** was found that MPP-2 sCE not only has excellent ionic conductivity at 60℃ of 5.54×10^(−4) s cm^(−1),but also exhibits superior interfacial compatibility in Li||Li symmetric batteries,which can constantly cycle for about 800 h at 0.1 mA cm^(−2) with no *** assembled Li|MPP-2|LiFePO4 cell exhibited a first discharge specific capacity of up to 157.1 mAh g^(−1) at 60℃ and 0.2 *** work may help to further advance the progress of AssLBs in the future.
