The global burden of premature coronary artery disease (CAD) is increasing among the young population. Premature CAD generally refers to the occurrence of obstructive coronary atherothrombotic lesions in men and women aged <55 years and <65 years, respectively, and particularly in those aged <45 years.[1] The incidence of CAD in the younger population has remained stable or has increased, despite the declining incidence in older adults. Patients with premature CAD have a poor long-term prognosis, experiencing a high rate of recurrent ischemic events, rapid progression to multivessel disease, and frequent premature death.[1] Thus, it is crucial to identify the underlying causes of premature CAD that are distinct from those of age-related CAD and improve patient outcomes through precise diagnosis and treatment.

Formation conditions and reservoir-forming models of the Ordovician buried hill reservoirs in the Jizhong depression

The buried hill in the Jizhong depression contains abundant petroleum reserves and are important production areas.The Ordovician buried hill has restricted the discovery of new oil and gas exploration targets because of its strong reservoir heterogeneity and complex reservoir-controlling factors.Based on a large volume of core,thin section,logging,seismic,and geochemical data and numerous geological analyses,the reservoir-forming conditions and modes were systematically analyzed to guide the exploration and achieve important breakthroughs in the Yangshuiwu and Wen an slope buried hills.The study revealed that three sets of source rocks of the third and fourth members of the Shahejie Formation from the Paleogene and Carboniferous-Permian were developed in the Jizhong depression,providing sufficient material basis for the formation of buried hill oil and gas reservoirs.The reservoir control mechanism involving the three major factors of“cloud-karst-fault”was clarified,and karst cave,fracture fissure-pore,and cloud pore type reservoir models were established,thereby expanding the exploration potential.Controlled by the superposition of multi-stage tectonic processes during the Indosinian,Yanshanian,and Himalayan,two genetic buried hill trap types of uplift-depression and depression-uplift were formed.Based on the analysis of reservoir-forming factors of the Ordovician buried hill,three buried hill oil and gas reservoir-forming models were identified:low-level tectonic-lithologic composite quasi-layered buried hill,medium-level paleo-storage paleo-block buried hill,and high-level paleo-storage new-block buried hill.Comprehensive evaluations indicate that the reservoir-forming conditions of the low-level tectonic-lithologic composite quasi-layered buried hill in the northern portion of the Jizhong depression are the most favorable and that the Sicundian and Xinzhen buried hills are favorable areas for future exploration.

The irregular defects and residual tumor tissue after surgery are challenges for effective breast cancer treatment.Herein,a smart hydrogel with self-adaptable size and dual responsive cargos release was fabricated to treat breast cancer via accurate tumor elimination,on-demand adipose tissue regeneration and effective infection inhibition.The hydrogel consisted of thiol groups ended polyethylene glycol(SH-PEG-SH)and doxorubicin encapsulated mesoporous silica nanocarriers(DOX@MSNs)double crosslinked hyaluronic acid(HA)after loading of antibacterial peptides(AP)and adipose-derived stem cells(ADSCs).A pH-cleavable unsaturated amide bond was pre-introduced between MSNs and HA frame to perform the tumor-specific acidic environment dependent DOX@MSNs release,meanwhile an esterase degradable glyceryl dimethacrylate cap was grafted on MSNs,which contributed to the selective chemotherapy in tumor cells with over-expressed esterase.The bond cleavage between MSNs and HA would also cause the swelling of the hydrogel,which not only provide sufficient space for the growth of ADSCs,but allows the hydrogel to fully fill the irregular defects generated by surgery and residual tumor atrophy,resulting in the on-demand regeneration of adipose tissue.Moreover,the sustained release of AP could be simultaneously triggered along with the size change of hydrogel,which further avoided bacterial infection to promote tissue regeneration.

在美国加勒比裔小说中,“家”的空间表征体现为一种非同质性的跨国家园制作过程,它挑战了传统意义上的空间划分与性别划分之间的关系。一方面,跨国移民的家园概念发生在祖籍国和东道国之间的社会场,并不断模糊化;另一方面,性别和地理的跨国缠绕催生了性别模式的变异,女性移民关于遗忘和记忆的家园叙事呈现出驳色的文本意义:其美国家园绘制彰显了开放性和前进性色调,却在有意无意间保留了加勒比家园底色;男性的家园怀旧叙事则关联家庭私域,呈现出封闭性和降维趋势,表达了主体性退隐或丧失的危机。由此,加勒比裔作家颠覆了男性/公共域和女性/私人域之间的齐整对立,动摇了传统的性别权力结构,再现了跨国空间中新的性别运作模式。

Study of Variable Turbulent Prandtl Number Model for Heat Transfer to Supercritical Fluids in Vertical Tubes

In order to improve the prediction performance of the numerical simulations for heat transfer of supercritical pressure fluids, a variable turbulent Prandtl number(Pr_t) model for vertical upward flow at supercritical pressures was developed in this study. The effects of Pr_t on the numerical simulation were analyzed, especially for the heat transfer deterioration conditions. Based on the analyses, the turbulent Prandtl number was modeled as a function of the turbulent viscosity ratio and molecular Prandtl number. The model was evaluated using experimental heat transfer data of CO_2, water and Freon. The wall temperatures, including the heat transfer deterioration cases, were more accurately predicted by this model than by traditional numerical calculations with a constant Pr_t. By analyzing the predicted results with and without the variable Pr_t model, it was found that the predicted velocity distribution and turbulent mixing characteristics with the variable Pr_t model are quite different from that predicted by a constant Pr_t. When heat transfer deterioration occurs, the radial velocity profile deviates from the log-law profile and the restrained turbulent mixing then leads to the deteriorated heat transfer.

Dek219 encodes the DICER-LIKE1 protein that affects chromatin accessibility and kernel development in maize

Chromatin accessibility plays a vital role in gene transcriptional regulation.However,the regulatory mechanism of chromatin accessibility,as well as its role in regulating crucial gene expression and kernel development in maize(Zea mays)are poorly understood.In this study,we isolated a maize kernel mutant designated as defective kernel219(dek219),which displays opaque endosperm and embryo abortion.Dek219 encodes the DICER-LIKE1(DCL1)protein,an essential enzyme in mi RNA biogenesis.Loss of function of Dek219 results in significant reductions in the expression levels of most mi RNAs and histone genes.Further research showed that the Heat shock transcription factor17(Hsf17)-Zm00001d016571 module may be one of the factors affecting the expression of histone genes.Assay results for transposase-accessible chromatin sequencing(ATAC-seq)indicated that the chromatin accessibility of dek219 is altered compared with that of wild type(WT),which may regulate the expression of crucial genes in kernel development.By analyzing differentially expressed genes(DEGs)and differentially accessible chromatin regions(ACRs)between WT and dek219,we identified 119 candidate genes that are regulated by chromatin accessibility,including some reported to be crucial genes for kernel development.Taken together,these results suggest that Dek219 affects chromatin accessibility and the expression of crucial genes that are required for maize kernel development.

Flow characteristics of tangential leakage in a scroll compressor for automobile heat pump with CO_(2)

Tangential leakage loss reduction has great significance on improving the performance of scroll compressors.In this study,the flow field of a scroll compressor working with CO_(2) was numerically investigated.The development characteristics of the tangential leakage flow in different working chambers were carried out,which was obtained by analyzing the field quantities distributions.The impacts of the radial clearances and sidewall roughness on the tangential leakage were also taken into consideration,in order to explore the feasible method of the flow control for the tangential leakage in scroll compressors.Results showed that the tangential leakage flow had various characteristics in the suction and compression chambers due to the different interactions between the tangential leakage flow and mainstream.Owing to little reverse pressure gradient,the tangential leakage flow maintained the typical jet form in the suction chambers.By contrast,the mixing of the tangential leakage flow and mainstream induced the passage vortex and secondary flows in the compression chamber.The secondary flow was the primary factor that results in the occurrence of localized high temperature region rather than the tangential leakage.With the increase of the radial clearance,the volumetric efficiency declined and the discharge temperature increased rapidly.In terms of flow control of the tangential leakage,the increase of sidewall roughness by 2μm could achieve the same effect as the decrease of the radial clearance by 4μm,while the volumetric efficiency increased by almost 5%and average discharge temperature decreased by 5K.
