Recent experiments have demonstrated that synthesized complex-frequency waves can impart a virtual gain to molecule sensing systems,which can effectively restore information lost due to intrinsic molecular damping.The enhancement notably amplifies the signal of trace molecular vibrational fingerprints,thereby substantially improving the upper limit of sensitivity.

Pre-combustion mercury removal via coal electrolysis was performed and investigated on a bench-scale coal electrolytic cell(CEC)systemically,and factorial design was used to determine the effect of different operating conditions(coal particle size,operating temperature,operating cell voltage,and flow rate of slurry)on the percentage of mercury removal,percentage of ash removal,and dry heating value change.The results showed that the operating cell voltage,as well as the interaction between operating cell voltage and coal particle size,are significant factors in the percentage of mercury removal.There is no significant factor in the percentage of ash removal and the dry heating value change,but the coal could be purified while keeping the dry heating value almost constant after electrolysis.A co-product of hydrogen could be produced during coal electrolysis with 50%lower energy consumption compared with water electrolysis.Meanwhile,a mechanism for mercury removal in coal was proposed.The facts indicate that coal electrolysis is a promising method for precombustion mercury removal.

This paper concerns a global optimality principle for fully coupled mean-field control systems.Both the first-order and the second-order variational equations are fully coupled mean-field linear FBSDEs. A new linear relation is introduced, with which we successfully decouple the fully coupled first-order variational equations. We give a new second-order expansion of Y^(ε) that can work well in mean-field framework. Based on this result, the stochastic maximum principle is proved. The comparison with the stochastic maximum principle for controlled mean-field stochastic differential equations is supplied.

Glioblastoma(GBM)is among the most common and aggressive adult central nervous system tumors.One prominent charac-teristic of GBM is the presence of abnormal microvessels.A significant correlation between angiogenesis and prognosis has been observed.Accurately reconstructing this neovascula-rization and tumor microenvironment through personalized in vitro disease models presents a significant challenge.However,it is crucial to develop new anti-angiogenic therapies for GBM.In this study,3D bioprinted glioma stem cell(GSC)-laden hydrogel scaffolds,hybrid Gsc hydrogels and ceil-free hydrogel scaffolds were manufactured to investigate the vas-cularization ability of GsCs in varying 3D microenvironments.

Track-Before-Detect(TBD) is an efficient method to detect dim targets for radars. Conventional TBD usually follows an approximate motion model of the target, which may cause an inaccurate integration of the target energy. A TBD technique on basis of pseudo-spectrum in mixed coordinates adopting an accurate motion model for bistatic radar system is developed in this paper.The predicted position in bistatic polar plane is derived according to a nonlinear function that exactly describes the constant Cartesian velocity motion. Then around the predicted position, a pseudo-spectrum is formulated and its samples are accumulated to the integration frame for energy integration. The evolution of the state and the procedure of accumulation of the target energy are derived elaborately. The superior performance of the proposed method is demonstrated by some simulations.

Catalysts can accelerate the chemical reaction rate and effectively promote the molecules transformation,which is of great significance in the research of chemical industry and material science.The extreme utilization of reactive sites has led to the emergence and development of atomically dispersed materials(ADMs).The highly active coordination unsaturated metal sites and fully utilized metal atoms make ADMs show great potential in catalytic reactions.The adjustment of coordination environment and electronic structure provides more possibilities for constructing reactive centers with different properties.This review summarized the application and research progress of ADMs in different fields.The design strategy and structure–activity relationship of ADMs for specific reactions were summarized and analyzed.Moreover,we also provided advices for the challenges and opportunities faced by ADMs in catalytic reactions.
