The number of people travelling to high-altitude areas or participating in mountain sports is increasing. For individuals visiting such terrains for the first time， the lack of adaptation to the hypobaric hypoxic environment can lead to the deterioration of gastrointestinal function and barriers. In more severe cases， this lack of acclimatisation may lead to acute high-altitude illness. At present， the prevention and treatment of these issues primarily revolve around strategies such as descending to lower altitudes， oxygen supplementation， and medication. However， the available intervention measures to prevent health problems resulting from high-altitude environments remain limited. In this review， we discuss common altitude-related illnesses， including gastrointestinal problems. Moreover， we explore the potential of commonly used medications and dietary supplements in alleviating altitude-related issues. This review can provide a basis for future research on modulating the gut microbiota for mitigating high-altitude illness.

A new α-fetoprotein-MIP(AFP-MIP) immunosensor based on glass carbon electrode(GCE) modified with polythionine(PTh) and gold nanoparticles(AuNPs) was successfully fabricated for sensitive detection ofα-fetoprotein(AFP). Through controlling electropolymerization, A "polydopamine(PDA)-AFP" complex was achieved applying AFP as template and dopamine(DA) as imprinted monomers. After elution, the specific cavities can adsorb the target molecules. Using differential pulse voltammetry(DPV) detection,the peak current decreased with the increase in concentration of AFP, and the linear response range of the AFP-MIP immunosensor was from 0.001 ng/mL to 800 ng/mL with the detection limit as low as0.813. pg/mL. The MIP immunosensor could become a new promising method for the detection of ***, this MIP sensor was demonstrated in testing AFP in human serum samples with satisfactory results.

The influence maximization problem aims to select a small set of influential nodes, termed a seed set, to maximize their influence coverage in social networks. Although the methods that are based on a greedy strategy can obtain good accuracy, they come at the cost of enormous computational time, and are therefore not applicable to practical scenarios in large-scale networks. In addition, the centrality heuristic algorithms that are based on network topology can be completed in relatively less time. However, they tend to fail to achieve satisfactory results because of drawbacks such as overlapped influence spread. In this work, we propose a discrete two-stage metaheuristic optimization combining quantum-behaved particle swarm optimization with Lévy flight to identify a set of the most influential spreaders. According to the framework,first, the particles in the population are tasked to conduct an exploration in the global solution space to eventually converge to an acceptable solution through the crossover and replacement operations. Second, the Lévy flight mechanism is used to perform a wandering walk on the optimal candidate solution in the population to exploit the potentially unidentified influential nodes in the network. Experiments on six real-world social networks show that the proposed algorithm achieves more satisfactory results when compared to other well-known algorithms.

Glycosite-specific antibody-drug conjugatess(gsADCs), harnessing Asn297 N-glycan of IgG Fc as the conjugation site for drug payloads, usually require multi-step glycoengineering with two or more enzymes, which limits the substrate diversification and complicates the preparation ***, we report a series of novel disaccharide-based substrates, which reprogram the IgG glycoengineering to one-step synthesis of gsADCs, catalyzed by an endo-N-acetylglucosaminidase(ENGase) of Endo-S2. IgG glycoengineering via ENGases usually has two steps: deglycosylation by wild-type(WT) ENGases and transglycosylation by mutated ENGases. But in the current method, we have found that disaccharide LacNAc oxazoline can be efficiently assembled onto IgG by WT Endo-S2 without hydrolysis of the product, which enables the one-step glycoengineering directly from native *** studies on substrate specificity revealed that this approach has excellent tolerance on various modification of 6-Gal motif of LacNAc. Within 1 h, one-step synthesis of gsADC was achieved using the LacNAc-toxin substrates including structures free of bioorthogonal groups. These gsADCs demonstrated good homogeneity, buffer stability, in vitro and in vivo anti-tumor activity. This work presents a novel strategy using LacNAc-based substrates to reprogram the multi-step IgG glycoengineering to a one-step manner for highly efficient synthesis of gsADCs.

On-surface Ullmann coupling has been intensely utilized for the tailor-made fabrication of conjugated frameworks towards molecular electronics, however, reaction mechanisms are still limitedly understood. herein, we provide a comprehensive elucidation of the surface Ullmann coupling of 2,7-dibromopyrene (Br2Py) on Ag(111) by scanning tunnelling microscopy (STM), X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) and density function theory (DFT), and reveal that the Ullmann reaction path is unique regardless of predesigned assembled structures. By manipulating deposition conditions, diverse assembled architectures have been constructed for Br2Py on Ag(111), including the ladder phase, parallel arrangement, hexagonal patterns from monomers or Kagome lattices based on organometallic (OM) dimers. Intriguingly, stepwise annealing leads to an identical reaction diagram for the surface Ullmann coupling from individual assembled structures convergent into the brick-wall-pattern OM dimers first, which is deemed to be a stable phase, and then into elongated OM chains in order and eventually long-range polymers with direct C-C coupling. While the reaction mechanism is demonstrated to be dominated by the metal coordinated and halogen bonding motifs, interestingly, it has also been revealed that surface adatoms and dissociated Br atoms play a crucial role in coupling reactions. In contrast to previous reports demonstrating the manipulation of Ullmann reactions by preassembled strategy, herein, weak intermolecular interaction in assembled nanostructures is immediately suppressed by strong covalent bonding during reactions. Importantly, our report proposes essential insights on fundamental understanding of surface Ullmann coupling towards high-yield surface synthesis.

The Circular Electron Positron Collider(CEPC)is a large scientific project initiated and hosted by china,fostered through extensive collaboration with international *** complex comprises four accelerators:a 3. GeV linac,a 1.1 GeV Damping Ring,a Booster capable of achieving energies up to 180 GeV,and a Collider operating at varying energy modes(Z,W,H,and tt).The linac and Damping Ring are situated on the surface,while the subterranean Booster and Collider are housed in a 100 km circumference underground tunnel,strategically accommodating future expansion with provisions for a potential Super Proton Proton Collider(SPPC).The CEPC primarily serves as a Higgs *** its baseline design with synchrotron radiation(SR)power of 3.
