In recent years, the usages of by-products and wastes in industry have become more important. the importance of the sustainable development is also of increasing. the utilizations of wastes, as mineral admixture or fine aggregate, reduce the consumption of the natural resources and improve the durability of concrete. In this study, the effect of the fineness on the high temperature and sulphate resistances of concrete mortar specimens, produced with ground granulated blast-furnace slag (GBFS) replacing cement, is investigated. the compressive and flexural strength test results for all series related to durability effects, exposing temperature and solutions, exposure times for these durability effects, slag content and fineness are discussed. Conse- quently, the optimum slag contents are determined for producing the sulphate and high temperature resistant mortars.

In this article, we investigate the bound state solution of the Klein Gordon equation under mixed vector and scalar coupling of an energy-dependent deformed Hulthén potential in D dimensions. We obtain a transcendental equation after we impose the boundary conditions. We calculate energy spectra in four different limits and in arbitrary dimension via the Newton-Raphson method. then, we use a statistical method, namely canonical partition function, and discuss the thermodynamic properties of the system in a comprehensive way. We find out that some of the thermodynamic properties overlap with each other, some of them do not.

the watershed flow concentration scheme in the distributed hydrology-soil- vegetation model (DHSVM) is coupled with the mesoscale atmospheric model MM5 version 3.5, in which the Oregen States university land surface model (OSulSM) was involved. the flood event which happened in July 2002 in the upper reaches of Heihe river basin is simulated and the surface flow convergence process is shown with this coupled model. It has been concluded that times water head reaches each place of the basin are different. Water amount at each point is split-flow proportionally as the drops in elevation between it and neighbor points. large part of the water amount pass away in greater slope direction and small part pass away in smaller slope *** of the slope convergence makes the atmospheric model redistributes the surface water laterally.

this paper generalizes the method of Ng6 and Winkler （2010, 2011） for finding rational general solutions of a first order non-autonomous algebraic ordinary differential equation （AODE） to the case of a higher order AODE, provided a proper parametrization of its solution hypersurface. the authors reduce the problem of finding the rational general solution of a higher order AODE to finding the rational general solution of an associated system. the rational general solutions of the original AODE and its associated system are in computable 1-1 correspondence. the authors give necessary and sufficient conditions for the associated system to have a rational solution based on proper reparametrization of invariant algebraic space curves. the authors also relate invariant space curves to first integrals and characterize rationally solvable systems by rational first integrals.

the kinetic,morphological,crystallographic,and magnetic characteristics of thermally induced martensites in Fe-13.4wt% Mn-5.2wt%Mo alloy were investigated by scanning electron microscopy（SEM）,transmission electron microscopy（tEM）,and M（o｜¨）ssbauer *** experimental results reveal that two types of thermal-induced martensites,e（hcp） andα＇（bcc） martensites,are formed in the as-quenched condition,and these transformations have athermal *** addition to the Fe-Mn alloy does not change the coexistence ofεandα＇ martensites with the Mn content between 10wt%and 15wt%.Besides,M（o｜¨）ssbauer spectra reveal a paramagnetic character with a singlet for theγ（fcc） austenite andεmartensite phases and a ferromagnetic character with a broad sextet for theα＇ martensite phase. the volume fraction ofα＇ martensite forming in the quenched alloy is much more than that of theεmartensite.

A hybrid numerical flux scheme is proposed by adapting the carbunclefree modified Harten-lax-van leer contact(HllCM) scheme to smoothly revert to the Harten-lax-van leer contact(HllC) scheme in regions of shear. this hybrid scheme, referred to as the HllCt scheme, employs a novel, velocity-based shear sensor. In contrast to the non-local pressure-based shock sensors often used in carbuncle cures, the proposed shear sensor can be computed in a localized manner meaning that the HllCt scheme can be easily introduced into existing codes without having to implement additional data structures. through numerical experiments, it is shown that the HllCt scheme is able to resolve shear layers accurately without succumbing to the shock instability.

Focal distance tabu search modifies a standard tabu search algorithm for binary optimization by augmenting a periodic diversification step that drives the search away from a current best(or elite) solution until the objective function deteriorates beyond a specified threshold or until attaining a lower bound on the distance from the originating solution. the new augmented algorithm combines the threshold and lower bound approaches by introducing an initial focal distance for the lower bound which is updated when the diversification step is completed. However, rather than terminating the diversification step at the customary completion point, focal distance tabu search(tS) retains the focal distance bound through additional search phases designed to improve the objective function, drawing on a strategy proposed with strategic *** algorithm realizes this strategy by partitioning the variables into two sets which are managed together with an abbreviated tabu search process. An advanced version of the approach drives the search away from a collection of solutions rather than a single originating solution, introducing the concept of a signature solution to guide the search. the method can be employed to augment a variety of other metaheuristic algorithms such as those using threshold procedures, late acceptance hill climbing, iterated local search, breakout local search, GRASP, and path relinking.

Employment security is very often examined from a labor law rather than a human rights perspective. this article looks at the employment security in Chinese labor law from a human rights perspective. the right to employment security includes both negative and positive aspects： a negative right to protection against unfair dismissal, including dismissal for cause and economic redundancy, and a positive right to employment stability. Comparing Chinese labor law with international standards, this article focuses on analyzing important changes in the legislative developments in China in the past years, such as severance pay, labor contract with indefinite duration, and labor dispatching. this article also points out the main deficiencies, such as dismissal on the ground of criminal liabilities, weakness of trade unions and law enforcement, and no exemption of small employers. the article concludes with observing a tendency of Chinese law getting closer to international standards and pointing out the approach China should follow： to enhance employability through vocational training and providing better social security when strengthening the legislative protection of employment security.

the stationary gas tungsten arc welding （GtA） is carried out on SuS304 stainless steel under Ar-0.1%O2 and Ar-0.3%O2 mixed shielding to observe the evolution of the molten pool and investigate the role of Marangoni convection on the weld shape. After welding, the oxygen content in the weld metal was measured by using an oxygen/nitrogen analyzer. Small addition of oxygen to the argon based shielding gas can effectively adjust the weld pool oxygen content. Oxygen plays an important role as an surface active element in determining the pattern of Marangoni convection in the stainless steel weld pool. When the weld metal oxygen content is over the critical value, 0.01 wt pct, corresponding to the Ar-0.3%O2 mixed shielding gas, the Marangoni convection changes from outward to inward direction and the weld shape dramatically changes from wide shallow shape to narrow deep shape.
