the use of high-power lights during night-time purse seining is common in ***,metal halide(MH)lamps are used in the commercial fishery to attract fish,however these lights require more energy,have a shorter lifespan,and lower chromatic performance than light emitting diode(lED)*** study examined catch efficiency and fuel consumption when using lED lamps in combination with reduced numbers of MH lamps(10.24 kW),compared to conventional lighting(28.6 kW),used during purse seining off the coast of Ninh thuan province,*** economic performance associated with using lED lamps in this fishery was also *** found no significant differences in catch rates between the different light treatments,however fuel consumption was significantly *** consumption per nightly trip using lED with MH lamps was 70.8 l(11.1 l/h)compared to114 l(17.45 l/hr)using MH lamps alone,an estimated 37.9%reduction in fuel *** investment in lED lamps by a fishing enterprise will require additional initial costs,however our analysis revealed the financial break-event point can be reached after approximately 101 nightly trips when the fuel price is at the 2015 level of uSD$0.74 per *** enterprises can increase their profitability,and reduce CO2 emissions,by using lED lamps in the Vietnamese purse seine fishery.

the ^(12)C+^(12)C fusion reaction was studied in the range of E_(c.m.)=8.9 to 21 MeV using the active-target time Projection *** full information on all tracks of the reaction products,cross sections of the^(12)C(^(12)C,^(8)Be)^(16)O_(g.s.)channel and the ^(12)C(^(12)C,3a)^(12)C channel could be measured down to the level of a few *** ^(12)C(^(12)C,^(8)Be)^(16)O_(g.s.)reaction channel was determined to be 10_(-8)^(+24) mb at E_(c.m.)=11.1 MeV,supporting the direct a transfer reaction *** ^(12)C(^(12)C,3α)^(12)C reaction channel was studied for the first time using an exclusive *** result does not confirm the anomaly behavior reported in the previous inclusive measurement by Kolata et al.[***.C 21,579(1980)].Our comparisons with statistical model calculations suggest that the 3 a channel is dominated by the fusion evaporation process at E_(c.m.)>19 *** additional contribution of the 3 a channel increases the fusion reaction cross section by 10% at energies above 20 *** also find that an additional reaction mechanism is needed to explain the measured cross section at E_(c.m.)t which point the statistical model prediction vanishes.

Material identification is critical for understanding the relationship between mechanical properties and the associated mechanical ***,material identification is a challenging task,especially when the characteristic of the material is highly nonlinear in nature,as is common in biological *** this work,we identify unknown material properties in continuum solid mechanics via physics-informed neural networks(PINNs).to improve the accuracy and efficiency of PINNs,we develop efficient strategies to nonuniformly sample observational *** also investigate different approaches to enforce Dirichlet-type boundary conditions(BCs)as soft or hard ***,we apply the proposed methods to a diverse set of time-dependent and time-independent solid mechanic examples that span linear elastic and hyperelastic material *** estimated material parameters achieve relative errors of less than 1%.As such,this work is relevant to diverse applications,including optimizing structural integrity and developing novel materials.

Recently, the frequent extreme natural disasters made enormous damage to the electric grid leading to blackouts. the lifeline system aiming at providing continuous power supply for the important load in extreme natural disasters was designed in that condition. In this paper, a developed model for planning of the transformer substation in lifeline system? which considered the effect of existing transformer substations, the motivated areas and punishment areas was proposed. the Hopfield NN was adopted to solve the feeders and the PSO was adopted to new the locations of the transformer substations based on the feeders. the planning result not only took fully use of the existing substation but also get the suitable location for new construction which was satisfactory.

the effect of Sb addition on the morphology of self-catalyzed InAsSb nanowires （NWs） has been systematically investigated. InAs NWs were grown by molecular beam epitaxy with and without antimony （Sb） flux. It is demonstrated that trace amounts of Sb flux are capable of tuning the geometry of NWs, i.e., enhancing lateral growth and suppressing axial growth. We attribute this behavior to the surfactant effect of Sb which results in modifications to the kinetic and thermodynamic processes. A thermodynamic mechanism that accounts for Sb segregation in InAsSb NWs is also elucidated. this study opens a new route towards precisely controlled NW geometries by means of Sb addition.

A ti 47Al 2Cr 2Nb alloy was made by powder extrusion methods. By varying extrusion temperature, different microstructures were produced. At an extrusion temperature of 1 400 ℃ (above α transus), a uniform, fully lamellar structure was observed. In contrast, when powders were extruded at 1 150 ℃, an inhomogeneous microstructure consisting of γ,α 2 and metastable β phases was obtained. It was demonstrated that, while alloy extruded at 1 400 ℃ exhibited an excellent creep resistance, alloy with the same composition extruded at 1 150 ℃ exhibited superplasticity. the good creep resistance was resulted from the presence of fine lamellae which restrict dislocation slip within γ grains. these fine lamellae also promote the nucleation of deformation twins which impede dislocation glide along the interfaces ( γ/γ and γ/α 2) and, thus, reduces creep rate. In the case of low temperature extrusion, an elongation value of over 300% was obtained at a strain rate of 2×10 -5 s -1 and at a temperature as low as 800 ℃, which is close to the ductile to brittle transition temperature. this is in contrast to the prior major observations of superplastic behaviors in tiAl in which typical temperatures of 1 000 ℃ have usually been required for superplasticity. It was proposed that the occurrence of superplasticity at 800 ℃ is caused by the presence of a B2 phase which, during superplastic deformation (grain boundary sliding), accommodates sliding strains to reduce the propensity for cavitation at grain triple junctions and, thus, delays the fracture process.

With the combination of a new theoretical formula, physical simulation experiments, the technology of artificial neural network and database, an intelligent system for the prediction of sheet metal drawing capability is constructed for the first time. A modified criterion for sheet metal drawing capability is proposed in this paper, namely, the technological limiting Drawing Ratio, tlDR = f(R, n, s, t, F, μ,r_d,r_p…). Based on the studies of other scholars, a new formula is derived to predict the tlDR in this paper. then a series of orthogonal physical simulation experiments are designed to investigate the effect of technological parameters on the tlDR, and the results are analyzed in the paper. then the predicting system is constructed with the combination of the theoretical formula, orthogonal experiments, the technology of artifocial neural network and database. the predicted results show good agreements with experimental data, so it can be used to avoid the blindness in the selection of sheet metal before stamping. the system operates under the Windows operating system, and it supports the mechanism of Client/Server as well as Intranet, so the system has high engineering value.
