the COVID-19 outbreak severely affected formal face-to-face classroom teaching and ***-based online education and training can be a useful measure during the *** the Pakistani educational context,the use of ICt-based online training is generally sporadic and often unavailable,especially for developing English-language instructors’listening comprehension *** major factors affecting availability include insufficient It resources and infrastructure,a lack of proper online training for speech and listening,instructors with inadequate academic backgrounds,and an unfavorable environment for ICt-based training for listening *** study evaluated the effectiveness of ICt-based training for developing secondary-level English-language instructors’listening comprehension *** this end,collaborative online training was undertaken using random ***,60 private-school instructors in Chakwal District,Pakistan,were randomly selected to receive online-listening training sessions using English *** experimental group achieved significant scores in the posttest ***,there were substantial improvements in the participants’listening skills via online *** the unavailability of face-to-face learning during COVID-19,this study recommends using ICt-based online training to enhance listening comprehension *** policymakers should revise curricula based on online teaching methods and modules.

Molecular mobility in thermotropic polyesters and side-chain polymers with different struc-ture of mesogens and spacers has been studied by dielectrical method in dilutesolutions. the results made it possible to establish the multiplicity of dielectric relaxationtransitions which reflects the small- and large-scale types of molecular motion. It was shownthat dielectric relaxation processes occurring in accordance with local mechanism (relaxationtimes 10^(-9)--10^(-7)s. and the activation energy 10--50kJ/mol) are due to the mobility of kineticchain elements of different length within a monomer units. It was found that the dielectricrelaxation process connected with a large-scale form of molecular motion (relaxation times10^(-5)--10^(-6)s. and the activation energy 100kJ/mol) did not depend on the molecular massbut was infiuenced by factors changing the conformational state of the macromolecule. It isestablished tha the cooperative reorientation mobility of associated mesogenic fragments isthe source of the large-scale process.

the optical effects of the adsorption of eosin on the colloidal sliver particle have been investigated in aqueous solutions. It was found that upon adsorption the fluorescence of eosin was effectively quenched. this was explained as the photoinduced interfacial electron transfer from the excited singlet state of eosin to the silver particle. Decreasing pH of the solution favors the adsorption of eosin and so enhances the fluorescence quenching. For comparison, the fluorescence quenching in reverse micelles was also investigated. the quenching behavior was much different from that mediated in aqueous solution. this was attributed to the unique microenvironment of reverse micelles.

to identify the root causes of heavy metal contamination in soils as well as prevent and control such contamination from its sources,this study explored the accumulation patterns and ecological risks of heavy metals like Cd and Pb in solid waste in mining areas and across the water body,sediment,soil and agricultural product ecosystem surrounding the mining *** on the residual solid waste samples in lead-zinc deposits in a certain area of Guizhou Province,along with samples of topsoils,irrigation water,river sediments,and crops from surrounding *** study analyzed the distributions of eight heavy metals,i.e.,Cd,As,Cr,Hg,Pb,Zn,Cu,and Ni,in the samples through field surveys and sample ***,this study assessed the contamination levels and ecological risks of heavy metals in soils,sediments,and agricultural products using methods such as the single-factor index,Nemerow composite index,and potential ecological risk *** results indicate that heavy metals in the solid waste samples all exhibited concentrations exceeding their risk screening values,with 60%greater than their risk intervention *** soils and sediments demonstrate slight and moderate comprehensive ecological risks of heavy *** single-factor potential ecological risks of heavy metals in both the soil and sediment samples decreased in the order of Hg,Cd,Pb,As,Cu,Zn,Cr,and Ni,suggesting the same sources of heavy metals in the soils and *** of the agricultural product samples exhibited over-limit concentrations of heavy metals dominated by Cd,Pb,Ni,and Cr,excluding Hg and *** agricultural product assessment using the Nemerow composite index reveals that 35%of the agricultural product samples reached the heavy metal contamination level,implying that the agricultural products from farmland around the solid waste dumps have been contaminated with heavy *** eight heavy metals in the soil,sediment,and agricultural product samples manifested hig

traffic sign detection， as an important part of automatic driving， occupies a great influence in practical applications， but it is easily affected by many factors such as weather， road conditions， complex background， etc. So， an improved algorithm for traffic sign detection based on YOlOv8 is proposed. Firstly， YOlOv8n is used as the base model of the network， the iRMB＿EMA attention mechanism is used to improve the model's ability to perceive small targets， which reduces the leakage detection phenomenon of the model， Conv is upgraded to RFAConv， which improves the model's ability to deal with details and complexity in the image， the idea of ASFF adaptive spatial feature fusion is introduced in the detection head， and the small target detection layer， a four-head detection head is designed to improve the model's ability to detect small targets， solves the case of feature loss due to cross-scale fusion， and use of the Inner-MPDIou loss function provides a more accurate loss metric by calculating the distance of key points between the predicted and true frames. the experimental results of this algorithm on the public dataset CCtSDB show that the improved model accuracy mAP reaches 82.6%， which is 4% higher than the original base model YOlOv8n. the experimental results of dataset tt100k show that the improved model accuracy mAP reaches 84.5%， which is 7.1% higher than the original base model YOlOv8n. this algorithm effectively improves the problem of detail perception and leakage of the model in the detection of small targets， and has a significant detection effect compared to other algorithms.

Introduction: Arbovirus diseases such as dengue and chikungunya threaten public health worldwide. Early and rapid diagnosis and surveillance of dengue virus (DENV) and chikungunya virus (CHIKV) infections are essential to the control of these diseases. In this study, we evaluate the diagnostic performance of our new in-house multiplex Rt-qPCR method for detecting DENV serotypes and CHIKV in an external laboratory. Methodology: the evaluation study was conducted on 200 clinical samples of suspected patients for arbovirus disease infection, collected in Centre de Recherche Biomoléculaire Pietro Annigoni (CERBA), Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso. Our new multiplex Rt-qPCR was compared to the commercial kit, the Zika, Dengue, and Chikungunya (ZDC) Real-time PCR Assays kit (Bio-Rad, California, USA). Results and Conclusions: Among 200 samples, 21.5% (43/200) were DENV-positive by multiplex Rt-qPCR, and 21.5% (43/200) were also DENV-positive by reference real-time Rt-PCR. 157 (78.5%) samples tested negative for DENV by both tests (new mRt-qPCR and reference test). the sensitivity and specificity of mRt-qPCR were 100%. the DENV serotypes detected were DENV-1 60.5% (26/43) and DENV-3 39.5% (17/43). CHIKV was not detected in this study. Our new mRt-qPCR is sensitive, cost-effective, simple, and can be used in developing country laboratories.

the isentropic exponent of single-ionized mono-atomic plasmas in thermal equilib- rium is studied. Its behavior as a function of the ionization degree and temperature is examined for argon and zinc plasmas at two pressures （1 bar and 1 mbar, 1 mPa and 1 Pa）, respectively. the results show that for the two sorts of plasma the isentropic exponent equals typically about 1.1-1.2 within a considerably wide range of the ionization degree （5%-80%）.
