Dear Editor,As mass vaccination has been accomplished worldwide and a growing number of individuals have already been infected by SARS-CoV-2,understanding the incidence of subsequent re-infection is urgently required for comprehending the transmission dynamics of COVID-19(Bobrovitz et al.,2023).Additionally,current SARS-CoV-2 variants cause widespread escape from the neutralizing antibody(nAb)elicited by current ***,durable neutralization and memory B cell responses can be predicted by rapid CD4t t cell responses,particularly strong circulating t follicular helper(ctfh)cell responses,in individuals infected with SARS-CoV-2(Gong et al.,2020;Boppana et al.,2021;Narowski et al.,2022).Although nAb titers are known as predictors of protection against SARS-CoV-2 variants(Khoury et al.,2021),identifying more potential factors that could predict the risk of re-infection following primary infection and vaccination has become quite important in shaping prevention strategies(Chemaitelly et al.,2023).

Maize(Zea mays l.)-soybean(Glycine max ***.)relay intercropping provides a way to enhance land ***,the late-planted soybean suffers from shading by the *** maize harvest,how the recovery growth influences the leaf and nodule traits remains unclear.A three-year field experiment was conducted to evaluate the effects of genotypes,i.e.,supernodulating(nts1007),Nandou 12(ND12),and Guixia 3(GX3),and crop configurations,i.e.,the interspecific row spacing of 45(I45),60(I60),75 cm(I75),and sole soybean(SS),on soybean recovery growth and N *** results showed that intercropping reduced the soybean total leaf area(lA)by reducing both the leaf number(lN)and unit leaflet area(lUA),and it reduced the nodule dry weight(NW)by reducing both the nodule number(NN)and nodule diameter(ND)compared with the *** correlation and principal component analysis(PCA)indicated a co-variability of the leaf and nodule traits in response to the genotype and crop configuration *** the recovery growth stages,the compensatory growth promoted soybean growth to reduce the gaps of leaf and nodule traits between intercropping and *** relative growth rates of ureide(RGR_U)and nitrogen(RGR_N)accumulation were higher in intercropping than in *** achieved more significant sucrose and starch contents compared with ***12 and GX3 showed more robust compensatory growth than nts1007 in *** the recovery growth of relay intercropping soybean improved biomass and nitrogen accumulation,ND12 gained a more significant partial land equivalent ratio(plER)than *** I60 treatment achieved more robust compensation effects on biomass and N accumulation than the other ***,I60 showed a higher nodule sucrose content and greater shoot ureide and N accumulation than ***,intercropping ND12 with maize using an interspecific row spacing of 60 cm was optimal for both yield advantage and N accumulation.

In-situ electron irradiation and aging are applied to introduce high-density precipitates in an Mg-10Gd-3Y-1Zn-0.5Zr(GWZ1031K,wt.%)alloy to improve the *** results show that the hardness of the Mg alloy after irradiation for 10 h and aging for 9 h at 250℃ is 1.64 GPa,which is approximately 64% higher than that of the samples before being *** is mainly attributed to γ'precipitates on the basal plane after irradiation and the high-density nanoscale β'precipitates on the prismatic plane after aging,which should be closely related to the irradiation-induced homogenous *** latter plays a key role in precipitation *** result paves a way to improve the mechanical properties of metallic materials by tailoring the precipitation through irradiation and aging.

Cr(Ⅵ),one of the most hazardous metal pollutants,poses significant threats to the environment and human ***,a novel MoS_(2) composite(MoS_(2)/PVP/PAM)modified by polyvinylpyrrolidone(PVP)and polyacrylamide(PAM)was synthesized to enhance the removal of Cr(Ⅵ).Characterization analysis including SEM,XRD,FtIR,and XPS indicated that PVP and PAM could increase the interlayer spacing and the dispersibility of MoS_(2),and introduce pyrrolic N and amino functional *** batch experiments showed that MoS_(2)/PVP/PAM represented excellent Cr(Ⅵ)removal performance over a wide p H range,and exhibited a significantly higher maximum Cr(Ⅵ)adsorption capacity(274.73 mg/g,at p H 3.0,and 298 K)than pure MoS_(2).the adsorption of Cr(Ⅵ)followed langmuir and pseudo-second-order kinetic model,which was a homogeneous monolayer chemisorption ***_(2)/PVP/PAM showed stable removal of Cr(Ⅵ)in the presence of humic acid(HA),interfering cations and anions at different ***,it had excellent selectivity for Cr(Ⅵ)(K_(d) value of 1.69×10^(7)m l/g)when coexisting with a variety of competing *** characterization revealed that Cr(Ⅵ)was reduced to low toxicity Cr(Ⅲ)by Mo^(4+)and S^(2-),and then chelated on the surface of the adsorbent by pyrrolic *** research expanded the design concept for MoS_(2) composites by demonstrating the potential of MoS_(2)/PVP/PAM as a promising material for selective elimination of Cr(Ⅵ)in water.

Background:With the emergence of cytotoxic t lymphocyte-associated protein-4(CtlA-4)inhibitors,the outcomes of patients with malignant tumors have improved ***,the incidence of cardiovascular adverse events has also increased,which can affect tumor *** this study,we evaluated the incidence and severity of adverse cardiovascular events caused by CtlA-4 inhibitors by analyzing reported trials that involved CtlA-4 inhibitor ***:Randomized clinical trials published in English from January 1,2013,to November 30,2022,were searched using the Cochrane library and pubMed *** included trials examined all grade and grades 3–5 cardiac and vascular adverse *** involved comparisons of CtlA-4 inhibitors to placebo,CtlA-4 inhibitors plus chemotherapy to chemotherapy alone,CtlA-4 inhibitors combined with PD-1/PD-l1 inhibitors to PD-1/PD-l1 inhibitors alone,and CtlA-4 inhibitors plus target agent to PD-1/PD-l1 inhibitors plus target *** odds ratio(OR)and corresponding 95%confidence intervals(CIs)were calculated using the Mantel-Haenszel ***:Overall,20 trials were ***-4 inhibitors significantly increased the incidence of all-grade cardiovascular toxicity(OR=1.33,95%CI:1.00–1.75,p=0.05).the incidence of all-grade cardiovascular toxicity increased in malignant tumor patients who received single-agent CtlA-4 inhibitors(OR=1.73,95%CI:1.13–2.65,p=0.01),as well as the incidence rate of grades 3–5 cardiovascular adverse events(OR=2.00,95%CI:1.08–3.70,p=0.03).Compared with the non-CtlA-4 inhibitor group,CtlA-4 inhibitors plus chemotherapy,PD-1/PD-l1 inhibitors,or target agent did not significantly affect the incidence of cardiac and vascular *** incidence of grades 3–5 cardiac failure,hypertension,pericardial effusion,myocarditis,and atrial fibrillation were much higher among patients exposed to CtlA-4 inhibitor,but the data were not statistically ***:Our findings suggest that the

Slits have been widely used in laser-plasma interactions as plasma optical components for generating high-harmonic light and controlling laser-driven particle ***,we propose and demonstrate that periodic thin slits can be regarded as a new breed of optical elements for efficient focusing and guiding of intense laser *** fundamental physics of intense laser interaction with thin slits is studied,and it is revealed that relativistic effects can lead to enhanced laser focusing far beyond the pure diffractive focusing *** addition,the interaction of an intense laser pulse with periodic thin slits makes it feasible to achieve multifold enhancement in both laser intensity and energy transfer efficiency compared with conventional *** results provide a novel method for manipulating ultra-intense laser pulses and should be of interest for many laser-based applications.
