this paper examines the transport analysis, including both heat transfer and mass transfer, in hybrid nanofluid flow containing gyrotactic microorganisms towards a curved oscillatory surface. the influence of magnetic fields is also inspected in terms of their physical characteristics. to depict the phenomena of transport, modified versions of both Fick's and Fourier's laws are used. Additionally, the characteristics of both heterogeneous and homogeneous chemical reactions are also incorporated. Utilizing a curvilinear coordinate system, the flow problem is formulated as partial differential equations(PDEs)for momentum, concentration, microorganism field, and energy. An analytical solution to the obtained flow equations is achieved utilizing the homotopy analysis method(HAM).the effects of significant flow parameters on the pressure and microorganism fields, velocity, oscillation velocity, concentration, and temperature distributions are shown via graphs. Furthermore, the variations in skin friction, mass transfer rate, heat transfer rate, and local motile number due to different involved parameters are presented in tables and are analyzed in detail. Graphical results indicate that the curves of velocity and temperature fields are enhanced as the values of the solid volume fraction variables *** is also verified that the concentration rate field decreases as the values of the homogeneous reaction strength parameter and the radius of curvature parameter increase, and it increases with the Schmidt number and the heterogeneous reaction strength *** outcomes show a favorable response of the motile number to advanced values of the Peclet number, the Schmidt number, the microorganism difference parameter, and the bio-convective Lewis number.

We propose dynamic terahertz(tHz) emission microscopy(DtEM) to visualize temporal–spatial dynamics of photoexcited carriers in electronic materials. DtEM utilizes tHz pulses emitted from a sample by probe pulses irradiated after pump pulse irradiation to perform time-resolved two-dimensional mapping of the tHz pulse emission, reflecting various carrier dynamics. Using this microscopy, we investigated carrier dynamics in the gap region of low-temperature-grown Ga As and semi-insulating Ga As photoconductive switches of the identical-dipole type. the observed DtEM images are well explained by the change in the electric potential distribution between the electrodes caused by the screening effect of the photoexcited electron-hole pairs.

When a lightning current is impressed through a copper wire, the copper wire would be melted. A straight thin copper wire with a diameter of 0.1 mm,~ is melted due to the specific melting Joule heating （j^2t）m in an adiabatic condition. However, it has been recognized in the experiment that the thicker copper wires of φ1 mm are not completely melted, but sheared mainly at the connecting terminal by a relatively low impulse current. Electro-magnetic mechanical shearing stress, etc. are discussed in addition to the conventional Joule heating. New broken mechanisms were presumed and proved in the additional experiments.

this paper investigates the free vibration and transient response of interconnected structures including double curved beams and intermediate straight beams,which are all constructed from functionally graded porous(FGP) materials. the strain potential and kinetic energies of each beam along with the work done by the external force are calculated. Additionally, a higher-order beam element is introduced to derive stiffness and mass matrices, along with the force vector. the curved and straight beams are discretized, and their assembled stiffness, mass matrices, and force vectors, are *** conditions at the joints are used to derive the total matrices of the entire structure. Subsequently, the natural frequencies and transient response of the system are determined. the accuracy of the mathematical model and the self-developed computer program is validated through the comparison of the obtained results with those of the existing literature and commercial software ANSYS, demonstrating excellent ***, a comprehensive study is conducted to investigate the effects of various parameters on the free vibration and transient response of the considered structure.

the pathogenesis of rheumatoid arthritis(RA) remains to be completely elucidated so far; however, it is known that proinflammatory cytokines play a pivotal role in the induction of RA. tumor necrosis factor(tNF-α), in particular, is considered to play a central role in bone destruction by mediating the abnormal activation of osteoclasts or the production of proteolytic enzymes through direct or indirect mechanisms. the use of tNF-α blocking agents has a significant impact on RA therapy. Anti-tNF-α blocking agents such as infliximab are very effective for treatment of RA, especially for the prevention of articular destruction. We have previously shown that several proteins exhibited extensive changes in their expression after amelioration of RA with infliximab treatment. Among the proteins, connective tissue growth factor(CtGF) has a significantrole for the development of RA. Herein, we review the function of CtGF in the pathogenesis of RA and discuss the possibility of a novel treatment for RA. We propose that CtGF is a potentially novel effector molecule in the pathogenesis of RA. Blocking the CtGF pathways by biological agents may have great beneficial effect in patients with RA.

Applications of Cyclometalation Five-Membered Ring Products and Intermediates as Catalytic Agents

the five-membered ring products and intermediates of cyclometalation reactions are very easily synthesized via donation from a hetero atom to a metal atom, which leads to the very high functionality of the product. this functionality is caused by the donation of the hetero atom and various types of metal atoms, halogen atom and other ligands such as alkanes, alkenes, alkynes, Cp, Cp*, aryl groups and heterocyclic compounds. these products have three types of catalytic applications: cyclometalation five-membered ring products as catalysts, cyclometalation five-membered ring intermediates as catalyst agents and cyclometalation five-membered ring intermediates with unconventional substrates and as catalyst actions. Because of the high functionality of these products, the applications of them have been increasing not only as the metathesis in the first and second generations of Hoveyda-Grubbs catalysts but also as in chiral reactions, cross-coupling reactions and polymerization reactions. the above cyclometalation products have been utilized for the production in many industrial fields such as pharmaceuticals, OLEDs, carbon dioxide utilizations, dye-sensitizer solar cells and sensors. We expect that these products would be used for the development of further new industrial products.

Chiral behaviors of magnetoelectrodeposited Ag film electrodes were investigated for the electrochemical reactions of glucose and cysteine. the Ag films were electrodeposited under a magnetic field of 2 t perpendicular to the electrode surface at various potentials 0f-0.06-0.4 V （vs Ag I Ag＋）. the current-time curves during the electrodeposition and the surface morphology of the films implied that the film growth was considerably affected by the micro-MHD （magnetohydrodynamic） effect. Such Ag films were employed as an electrode, and voltammograms of glucose and cysteine were examined. Chiral behavior was clearly observed as current difference between the enantiomers on the film electrodes prepared at electrodeposition potentials less than -0.1 V. Such electrochemical chirality disappeared after the oxidation and reduction of the surface monolayer, and this fact indicates that the chiral sites must be just on the film surface.
