the relative age of fractures can be determined through structural analyses in the field or through the detailed mineralogical (XRD) and chemical analyses (AAS method, volumetric, and gravimetric analysis) of fault gouge in the laboratory. the aim of this work was to compare these approaches. It was hypothesised that the two methods would yield consistent results. the studied faults were located in the Rychleby Mts, part of the Sudetic Marginal Fault Zone. the relative age of the faults was determined in the field through the application of the intersection law. the fault gouges were sampled in a crystalline limestone quarry near the village of Vápenná. the mineralogical composition of the fault gouges has been established by XRD analysis of powder samples and analysis of preferentially oriented clay minerals. From our result, it is clear that these two approaches yielded consistent results with regard to the relative age of the faults.

the pseudorapidity spectra of fast particles （with β 〉 0.7） produced in Au （at 11.6 A geV） and Pb （at 158 A geV） induced collisions with emulsion （Em） nuclei contain some visual plateaus and shoulders. the plateau is wider for Pb＋Em reactions compared with the Au＋Em ones. the existence of a plateau is expected for parton models. the Fourier transformation and maximum entropy methods were used to get additional information about the plateaus. the dependence of the plateaus on the centrality of the collisions was also studied using the number of g-particles to fix centrality. It shows that the maximum entropy method could confirm the existence of the plateau and the shoulder on distributions.

Background： Lycopene（LYC） is a natural carotenoid with powerful reactive oxygen species（ROS） scavenging activities. the aim of this study was to investigate if lycopene has the ability to reverse ROS-mediated alterations to the motility, viability and intracellular antioxidant profile of bovine spermatozoa subjected to ferrous ascorbate（Fe AA）. Spermatozoa were washed out of fresh bovine semen, suspended in 2.9 % sodium citrate and subjected to LYC treatment（0.25, 0.5, 1 or 2 mmol/L） in the presence or absence of Fe AA（150 μmol/L Fe SO4 and 750 μmol/L ascorbic acid） during a 6 h in vitro culture. Spermatozoa motion characteristics were assessed using the Sperm Vision？computer-aided sperm analysis（CASA） system. Cell viability was examined with the metabolic activity（Mtt） assay,ROS generation was quantified via luminometry and the nitroblue-tetrazolium（NBt） test was applied to quantify the intracellular superoxide formation. Cell lysates were prepared at the end of the in vitro culture to investigate the intracellular activity of superoxide dismutase（SOD）, catalase（CAt）, glutathione peroxidase（gPx） as well as the concentrations of glutathione（gSh） and malondialdehyde（MDA）.Results： FeA A treatment led to a reduced spermatozoa motility（P 〈 0.001）, viability（P 〈 0.001） and a decline of the antioxidant capacity of spermatozoa（P 〈 0.001） but increased the ROS generation（P 〈 0.001）, superoxide production（P 〈 0.001） and lipid peroxidation（P 〈 0.001）. AIM: to investigate the association between autoimmune pancreatitis (AIP) and systemic autoimmune diseases (SAIDs) by measurement of serum immunoglobulin g4 (Igg4). MEthODS: the serum level of Igg4 was measured in 61 patients with SAIDs of different types who had not yet participated in glucocorticosteroid treatment. Patients with an elevated Igg4 level were examined by abdominal ultrasonography (US) and, in some cases, by computer tomography (Ct). RESULtS: Elevated serum Igg4 levels (919 ± 996 mg/L) were detected in 17 (28%) of the 61 SAID patients. 10 patients had Sj gren's syndrome (SS) (Igg4: 590 ± 232 mg/L), 2 of them in association with hashimoto's thyroiditis, and 7 patients (Igg4: 1388 ± 985.5 mg/L) had systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE). the Igg4 level in the SLE patients and that in patients with SS were not significantly different from that in AIP patients (783 ± 522 mg/L). Abdominal US and Ct did not reveal any characteristic features of AIP among the SAID patients with an elevated Igg4 level. CONCLUSION: the serum Igg4 level may be elevated in SAIDs without the presence of AIP. the determination of serum Igg4 does not seem to be suitable for the differentiation between Igg4-related diseases and SAIDs.

Usage of fiber reinforced concrete to replace shear reinforcement has become more common in the precast industry in recent years. In some cases, the use of steel fibers could be problematic because of corrosion, hence, synthetic material could be a suitable alternative material solution. thus, it would appear logical to undertake a comparison of these fibers＇ load bearing capacity to determine suitability in each case. In this paper, the bending and the shear tests of four large-scale and prestressed beams made of steel or synthetic fiber reinforced concrete without stirrups are presented. the post-cracking residual tensile strength diagram of the fibers, according to RILEM （International Union of Laboratories and Experts in Construction Materials, Systems and Structures） tC162, is given and the experimental behavior of the fiber solutions is compared. the modified fracture energy method is used to define an advanced material model for the fiber reinforced concrete in the finite element analysis. the numerical calculations and the test results are compared in terms of crack propagation and the loading-deflect＇ion process. As a consequence, both steel and synthetic fibers seem to be good alternatives to replace the stirrups. however, the behavior of each fiber is not the same. the numerical calculation provided a good approximation for the real scale tests.

Ce:SrhfO_(3)陶瓷因具有高密度和高有效原子序数,对高能射线具有很强的阻止能力。同时,Ce:SrhfO_(3)陶瓷还具有快衰减和高能量分辨率等优异的闪烁性能,引起了研究人员的广泛关注。由于传统的烧结方法难以实现非立方结构Ce:SrhfO_(3)陶瓷的透明化,本研究采用真空长时烧结和短时真空预烧结合热等静压烧结(hot Isostatic Pressing,hIP)方法制备Ce,Y:SrhfO_(3)陶瓷。以金属氧化物和碳酸盐为原料,1200℃下煅烧8 h可以获得平均粒径为152 nm的纯相Ce,Y:SrhfO_(3)粉体。1800℃真空烧结20 h获得平均晶粒尺寸为28.6μm的不透明的Ce,Y:SrhfO_(3)陶瓷,而两步烧结法可以制备光学透过率良好的Ce,Y:SrhfO_(3)陶瓷。本研究详细分析了陶瓷致密化过程中微结构的演变,探究了预烧结温度对Ce,Y:SrhfO_(3)陶瓷密度、显微结构和光学透过率的影响。真空预烧(1500℃×2 h)结合hIP后处理(1800℃×3 h,200 MPa Ar)所获得的Ce,Y:SrhfO_(3)陶瓷在800 nm处的最高直线透过率为21.6%,平均晶粒尺寸仅为3.4μm。在X射线激发下,Ce,Y:SrhfO_(3)陶瓷在400 nm处产生Ce3+5d-4f发射峰,其XEL积分强度比商用锗酸铋(BgO)晶体高3.3倍,Ce,Y:SrhfO_(3)陶瓷在1μs门宽下的光产额约为3700 ph/MeV。良好的光学和闪烁性能可以拓宽Ce,Y:SrhfO_(3)陶瓷在闪烁探测领域的应用。
