this paper highlights the crucial role of Indonesia’s GnSS receiver network in advancing Equatorial Plasma Bubble(EPB)studies in Southeast and East Asia,as ionospheric irregularities within EPB can disrupt GnSS signals and degrade positioning *** by the Indonesian Geospatial Information Agency(BIG),the Indonesia Continuously Operating Reference Station(Ina-CORS)network comprises over 300 GnSS receivers spanning equatorial to southern low-latitude ***-CORS is uniquely situated to monitor EPB generation,zonal drift,and dissipation across Southeast *** provide a practical tool for EPB research,by sharing two-dimensional rate of total Electron Content(tEC)change index(ROtI)derived from this *** generate ROtI maps with a 10-minute resolution,and samples from May 2024 are publicly available for further scientific *** preliminary findings from the ROtI maps of Ina-CORS are ***,the Ina-CORS ROtI maps reveal that the irregularities within a broader EPB structure persist longer,increasing the potential for these irregularities to migrate farther ***,we demonstrate that combined ROtI maps from Ina-CORS and GnSS receivers in East Asia and Australia can be used to monitor the development of ionospheric irregularities in Southeast and East *** have demonstrated the combined ROtI maps to capture the development of ionospheric irregularities in the Southeast/East Asian sector during the G5 Geomagnetic Storm on May 11,*** observed simultaneous ionospheric irregularities in Japan and Australia,respectively propagating northwestward and southwestward,before midnight,whereas Southeast Asia’s equatorial and low-latitude regions exhibited irregularities *** sharing ROtI maps from Indonesia and integrating them with regional GnSS networks,researchers can conduct comprehensive EPB studies,enhancing the understanding of EPB behavior across Southeast and East Asia and contributing significantly to ionosphe

Evaluation of periglacial landforms and formation of soil properties on the Mount Honaz,SW türkiye

the main aim of this study is to explain periglacial processes on the summits of Mount Honaz(2571 m a.s.l.),define periglacial landforms,and determine the relationships between morphometric features and topographic *** circles,stony earth circles,non sorted steps,and non sorted stripes were identified on the summits of Mount ***'s correlation coefficient(r)and linear regression analyses were performed by taking metric measurements from 125 periglacial landforms to describe their morphometric features(length,width,height)of periglacial landforms and explain the relationships between them and topographic factors(elevation,slope).to explain the relationships between periglacial landforms and soil properties,soil samples from 11 periglacial landforms were taken and *** landforms,which continue to develop on the summits of Mount Honaz today,have been evaluated with present climate *** of soil samples indicates a notable impact of parent material on the genesis of periglacial *** high ratio of organic matter in mud circle and non sorted step landforms and the high lime ratio in stony earth circle landforms prove a strong relationship between the formation mechanisms of landforms and the soil ***,it is consistent with the findings obtained from the analysis that severe periglacial processes and washing and scavenging events are experienced more on the northern slopes.

Layered magnetic materials,such as MnBi_(2)te_(4),have drawn much attention owing to their potential for realizing twodimensional(2D)magnetism and possible topological ***,FeBi_(2)te_(4),which is isostructural to MnBi_(2)te_(4),has been synthesized in experiments,but its detailed magnetic ordering and band topology have not been clearly understood ***,based on first-principles calculations,we investigate the magnetic and electronic properties of FeBi_(2)te_(4)in bulk and 2D *** show that different from MnBi_(2)te_(4),the magnetic ground states of bulk,single-layer,and bilayer FeBi_(2)te_(4)all favor a 120°noncollinear antiferromagnetic ordering,and they are topologically trivial narrow-gap *** the bilayer case,we find that a quantum anomalous Hall effect with a unit Chern number is realized in the ferromagnetic state,which may be achieved in experiment by an external magnetic field or by magnetic proximity *** work clarifies the physical properties of the new material system of FeBi_(2)te_(4)and reveals it as a potential platform for studying magnetic frustration down to 2D limit as well as quantum anomalous Hall effect.

Examination of n-t_(9) conditions required by n=50,82,126 waiting points in r-process

We examined the conditions of neutron density(n) and temperature(t9) required for the n = 50, 82,and 126 isotopes to be waiting points(WP) in the r-process. the nuclear mass based on experimental data presented in the AME2020 database(AME and AME ± Δ) and that predicted using FRDM,WS4, DZ10, and KtUY models were employed in our estimations. We found that the conditions required by the n = 50 WP significantly overlap with those required by the n = 82 ones, except for the WS4 model. In addition, the upper(or lower) bounds of the n-t9 conditions based on the models are different from each other due to the deviations in the two-neutron separation *** standard deviations in the nuclear mass of 108 isotopes in the three n = 50, 82, and 126 groups are about rms = 0.192 and 0.434 Me V for the pairs of KtUY-AME and WS4-KtUY models,respectively. We found that these mass uncertainties result in a large discrepancy in the nn-t_(9) conditions, leading to significant differences in the conditions for simultaneously appearing all the three peaks in the r-process abundance. the newly updated FRDM and WS4 calculations can give the overall conditions for the appearance of all the peaks but vice versa for their old versions in a previous study. the change in the final r-process isotopic abundance due to the mass uncertainty is from a few factors to three orders of magnitude. therefore, accurate nuclear masses of the r-process key nuclei, especially for 76 Fe,81Cu,127Rh,132Cd,192Dy, and 197tm, are highly recommended to be measured in radioactive-ion beam facilities for a better understanding of the r-process evolution.

this paper examines the transport analysis, including both heat transfer and mass transfer, in hybrid nanofluid flow containing gyrotactic microorganisms towards a curved oscillatory surface. the influence of magnetic fields is also inspected in terms of their physical characteristics. to depict the phenomena of transport, modified versions of both Fick's and Fourier's laws are used. Additionally, the characteristics of both heterogeneous and homogeneous chemical reactions are also incorporated. Utilizing a curvilinear coordinate system, the flow problem is formulated as partial differential equations(PDEs)for momentum, concentration, microorganism field, and energy. An analytical solution to the obtained flow equations is achieved utilizing the homotopy analysis method(HAM).the effects of significant flow parameters on the pressure and microorganism fields, velocity, oscillation velocity, concentration, and temperature distributions are shown via graphs. Furthermore, the variations in skin friction, mass transfer rate, heat transfer rate, and local motile number due to different involved parameters are presented in tables and are analyzed in detail. Graphical results indicate that the curves of velocity and temperature fields are enhanced as the values of the solid volume fraction variables *** is also verified that the concentration rate field decreases as the values of the homogeneous reaction strength parameter and the radius of curvature parameter increase, and it increases with the Schmidt number and the heterogeneous reaction strength *** outcomes show a favorable response of the motile number to advanced values of the Peclet number, the Schmidt number, the microorganism difference parameter, and the bio-convective Lewis number.

the impact of alpha-fetoprotein (AFP), child-turcotte-pugh (CtP) score and disease staging on the survival of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) patients: a retrospective cohort from single oncology center

Background:Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) is the most common cause of cancer-related death in Saudi Arabia. Our study aimed to investigate the patterns of HCC and the effect of tnM staging, Alfa-fetoprotein (AFP), and Child-turcotte Pugh (CtP) on patients' overall survival (OS).Methods:A retrospective analysis was conducted on 43 HCC patients at a single oncology center in Saudi Arabia from 2015 to 2020. All patients had to fulfill one of the following criteria: (a) a liver lesion reported as definitive HCC on dynamic imaging and/or (b) a biopsy-confirmed diagnosis.Results:the mean patient age of all HCC cases was 66.8 with a male-to-female ratio of 3.3:1. All patients were stratified into two groups: viral HCC (n = 22, 51%) and non-viral HCC (n = 21, 49%). Among viral-HCC patients, 55% were due to HBV and 45% due to HCV. Cirrhosis was diagnosed in 79% of cases. Age and sex did not significantly statistically differ in OS among viral and non-viral HCC patients (-value > 0.05). About 65% of patients had tumor size >5 cm during the diagnosis, with a significant statistical difference in OS (-value = 0.027). AFP was >400 ng/ml in 45% of the patients. there was a statistically significant difference in the OS in terms of AFP levels (-value = 0.021). A statistically significant difference was also observed between the CtP score and OS (-value = 0.02). CtP class B had the longest survival. BSC was the most common treatment provided to HCC patients followed by sorafenib therapy. there was a significant statistical difference in OS among viral and non-viral HCC patients (-value = 0.008).Conclusions:the most common predictors for OS were the underlying cause of HCC, AFP, and tumor size. Being having non-viral etiology, a tumor size >5 cm, an AFP > 400 ng/mL, and a CtP score class C were all negatively associated with OS.

Ion heat transport in electron cyclotron resonance heated L-mode plasma on the t-10 tokamak

Anomalous ion heat transport is analyzed in the t-10 tokamak plasma heated with electron cyclotron resonance heating(ECRH) in second-harmonic extra-ordinary mode. Predictive modeling with empirical scaling for Ohmical heat conductivity shows that in ECRH plasmas the calculated ion temperature could be overestimated, so an increase of anomalous ion heat transport is required. to study this effect two scans are presented: over the EC resonance position and over the ECRH power. the EC resonance position varies from the high-field side to the low-field side by variation of the toroidal magnetic field. the scan over the heating power is presented with on-axis and mixed ECRH regimes. Discharges with high anomalous ion heat transport are obtained in all considered regimes. In these discharges the power balance ion heat conductivity exceeds the neoclassical level by up to 10 times. the high ion heat transport regimes are distinguished by three parameters: the ratio te/ti, the normalized electron density gradient R/■, and the ion–ion collisionality νii~*. the combination of high te/ti, high νii~*, and R/■=6-10 results in values of normalized anomalous ion heat fluxes up to 10 times higher than in the low transport scenario.

this study demonstrates the influence of the Ag^(+)/PO_(4)^(3-)ratio in precursor solution on the crystal structural formation,morphology,physical properties,and photocatalytic performance of a Ag_(3)PO_(4)photocatalyst that is fabricated,using a facile precipitation method,from AgnO_(3)and na2HPO_(4)·12H_(2)*** material characterizations were carried out using x-ray diffraction(XRD),scanning electron microscopy(SEM),energy-dispersive x-ray spectroscopy(EDX),Brunauer–Emmett–teller(BEt)surface area,Fourier transform infrared(FtIR)absorption,Raman scattering,x-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS),UV-vis absorption,and photoluminescence(PL).the results show that Ag_(3)PO_(4)crystallizes better when the excess PO_(4)^(3-)content increases,and the lattice parameters decrease slightly,while the crystal diameter and the particle size *** change is also observed in the Raman scattering and FtIR spectra with the increase in the vibration frequency of the[PO_(4)]*** compression of the[PO_(4)]unit was also confirmed in the XPS spectra with the shift of P 2p peaks toward higher binding *** photocatalytic results showed that the samples synthesized from excess PO_(4)^(3-)solution exhibited higher photocatalytic performance compared to the sample with a Ag^(+)/PO_(4)^(3-)ratio of 3:1.A sample prepared from the precursor solution with a Ag^(+)/PO_(4)^(3-)ratio of 3:1.5 was optimal for RhB decomposition under both visible light and natural sunlight,completely decomposing 10 ppm RhB after 15 minutes of xenon lamp irradiation and after 60 minutes under solar light *** is attributed to the high crystallinity,small particle size and low electron–hole recombination rate of the sample.

nonlinear-Optical Analogies in nuclear-Like Soliton Reactions:Selection Rules,nonlinear tunneling and Sub-Barrier Fusion–Fission

the main goal of our study is to reveal unexpected but intriguing analogies arising between optical solitons and nuclear physics,which still remain hidden from *** consider the main cornerstones of the concept of nonlinear optics of nuclear reactions and the well-dressed repulsive-core *** the base of this model,we reveal the most intriguing properties of the nonlinear tunneling of nucleus-like solitons and the soliton selfinduced sub-barrier transparency *** describe novel interesting and stimulating analogies between the interaction of nucleus-like solitons on the repulsive barrier and nuclear sub-barrier *** main finding of this study concerns the conservation of total number of nucleons(or the baryon number)in nuclear-like soliton *** show that inelastic interactions among well-dressed repulsive-core solitons arise only when a“cloud”of“dressing”spectral side-bands appears in the frequency spectra of the *** property of nucleus-like solitons is directly related to the nuclear density distribution described by the dimensionless small shape-squareness *** the Fourier spectra of nucleus-like solitons are similar to the nuclear form *** show that the nuclear-like reactions between well-dressed solitons are realized by“exchange”between“particle-like”side bands in their spectra.
