Biopsy is the gold standard for tumor diagnosis,as this technology provides highly detailed and reliable information on tumorigenesis and *** the discrete wettability of desert beetles,in this study,a fluorescence polymerase chain reaction(F-PCR)microneedle array(MNA)platform is developed for efficient spatial tumor *** MNA is fabricated by the coupled strategies of bottom-up self-assembly and top-down photolithography;it comprises a hydrophobic silica nanoparticle-assembled substrate and graphene aerogel-hydrogel hybrid microneedle *** from the hydrophilicity and absorption capacity of its graphene hybrid microneedle peaks,MNA can easily penetrate tissue specimens and collect tumor nucleic acid biomarkers *** addition,because of the discrete wettability of the platform,both tissue fluids and PCR liquids can be easily removed from the substrate,and each microneedle peak is similar to an independent island for directly conducting F-PCR reactions for tumor marker *** on these advantages,the F-PCR-MNA platform is demonstrated to be ideal for detecting DNA biomarkers of lung carcinoma in standard solutions,mouse tissue samples,and clinical specimens,thus indicating its practical potential as an innovative tumor biopsy system.

As one of the regions most affected by global cli-mate warming,the tianshan mountains has experienced sev-eral ecological crises,including retreating glaciers and water *** warming in these mountains is considered mainly to be caused by increases in minimum temperatures and winter temperatures,while the influence of maximum temperatures is *** this study,a 300-year tree-ring chronology developed from the Western tianshan Moun-tains was used to reconstruct the summer(June-August)maximum temperature(t_(max6-8))variations from 1718 to *** reconstruction explained 53.1% of the variance in the observed t_(max6-8).Over the past 300 years,the t_(max6-8)reconstruction showed clear interannual and decadal *** was a significant warming trend(0.18°C/decade)after the 1950s,which was close to the increasing rates of the minimum and mean *** increase in maximum temperature was also present over the whole tianshan mountains and its impact on climate warming has *** t_(max6-8) variations in the Western tianshan mountains were influenced by frequent volcanic eruptions combined with the influence of solar activity and the sum-mer North Atlantic *** study reveals that cli-mate warming is significantly influenced by the increase in maximum temperatures and clarifies possible driving mech-anisms of temperature variations in the Western tianshan mountains which should aid climate predictions.

Power grids,due to their lack of network redundancy and structural interdependence,are particularly vulnerable to cascading failures,a phenomenon where a few failed nodes—having their loads exceeding their capacities—can trigger a widespread collapse of all ***,we extend the cascading failure(Motter-Lai)model to a more realistic perspective,where each node’s load capacity is determined to be nonlinearly correlated with the node’s *** analysis encompasses a range of synthetic networks featuring small-world or scale-free properties,as well as real-world network configurations like the IEEE bus systems and the US power *** find that fine-tuning this nonlinear relationship can significantly enhance a network’s robustness against cascading failures when the network nodes are under ***,the selection of initial nodes and the attack strategies also impact overall network *** findings offer valuable insights for improving the safety and resilience of power grids,bringing us closer to understanding cascading failures in a more realistic context.

the escalating deployment of distributed power sources and random loads in DC distribution networks hasamplified the potential consequences of faults if left uncontrolled. to expedite the process of achieving an optimalconfiguration of measurement points, this paper presents an optimal configuration scheme for fault locationmeasurement points in DC distribution networks based on an improved particle swarm optimization ***, a measurement point distribution optimization model is formulated, leveraging compressive *** model aims to achieve the minimum number of measurement points while attaining the best compressivesensing reconstruction effect. It incorporates constraints from the compressive sensing algorithm and networkwide viewability. Subsequently, the traditional particle swarm algorithm is enhanced by utilizing the Haltonsequence for population initialization, generating uniformly distributed individuals. this enhancement reducesindividual search blindness and overlap probability, thereby promoting population diversity. Furthermore, anadaptive t-distribution perturbation strategy is introduced during the particle update process to enhance the globalsearch capability and search speed. the established model for the optimal configuration of measurement points issolved, and the results demonstrate the efficacy and practicality of the proposed method. the optimal configurationreduces the number of measurement points, enhances localization accuracy, and improves the convergence speedof the algorithm. these findings validate the effectiveness and utility of the proposed approach.

In this paper,the effect of the Si content on microstructure evolution,mechanical properties,and fracture behavior of the Al-xSi/AZ91D bimetallic composites prepared by compound casting was investigated *** obtained results showed that all the Al-xSi/AZ91D bimetallic composites had a metallurgical reaction layer(MRL),whose thickness increased with increasing Si content for the hypoeutectic Al-Si/AZ91D composites,while the hypereutectic Al-Si/AZ91D composites were *** MRL included eutectic layer(E layer),intermetallic compound layer(IMC layer)and transition region layer(t layer).In the IMC layer,the hypereutectic Al-Si/AZ91D composites contained some Si solid solution and flocculent Mg_(2)Si+Al-Mg IMCs phases not presented in the hypoeutectic Al-Si/AZ91D ***,increasing Si content,the thickness proportion of the t layer increased,forming an inconsistent preferred orientation of the *** shear strengths of the Al-xSi/AZ91D bimetallic composites enhanced with increasing Si content,and the Al-15Si/AZ91D composite obtained a maximum shear strength of 58.6 MPa,which was 73.4% higher than the Al-6Si/AZ91D *** fractures of the Al-xSi/AZ91D bimetallic composites transformed from the t layer into the E layer with the increase of the Si *** improvement of the shear strength of the Al-xSi/AZ91D bimetallic composites was attributed to the synergistic action of the Mg_(2)Si particle reinforcement,the reduction of oxidizing inclusions and the ratio of Al-Mg IMCs as well as the orientation change of the MRL.

this study investigated the degradation of clofibric acid(CFA),bezafibrate(BZF),and sulfamethoxazole(SMX)in synthetic human urine using a novel mesoporous iron powderactivated persulfate system(mFe-PS system),and identified the factors limiting their degradation in synthetic human urine.A kinetic model was established to expose the radical production in various reaction conditions,and experiments were conducted to verify the modeling *** the phosphate-containing mFe-PS system,the 120 min removal efficiency of CFA decreased from 95.1%to 76.6%as the phosphate concentration increased from 0.32 to 6.45 mmol/L,but recovered to 90.5%when phosphate concentration increased to 16.10 mmol/***,the increased concentration of phosphate from 0.32 to 16.10mmol/L reduced the BZF degradation efficacy from 91.5%to 79.0%,whereas SMX removal improved from 37.3%to 62.9%.the m Fe-PS system containing(bi)carbonate,from 4.20 to166.70 mmol/L,reduced CFA and BZF removal efficiencies from 100%to 76.8%and 80.4%,respectively,and SMX from 83.5%to 56.7%within a 120-min reaction *** addition,alkaline conditions(pH≥8.0)inhibited CFA and BZF degradations,while nonacidic pH(pH≥7.0)remarkably inhibited SMX *** of the kinetic model indicated the formation of phosphate(H_(2)PO_(4)^(·)/HPO_(4)^(·-))and/or carbonate radicals(CO_(3)^(·-))could limit pharmaceutical *** transformation products(tPs)of the pharmaceuticals revealed more incompletely oxidized tPs occurred in the phosphate-and(bi)carbonate-containing m Fe-PS systems,and indicated that H_(2)PO_(4)^(·)/HPO_(4)^(·-)mainly degraded pharmaceuticals via a benzene ring-opening reaction while CO_(3)^(·-)preferentially oxidized pharmaceuticals via a hydroxylation reaction.
