Recently,inverted t-beams have been used in reinforced concrete(RC)bridges to support transverse precast *** t-beams,contrary to practice with conventional beams,are loaded on the flanges upper *** loading configuration causes hanger failure due to the generation of vertical tensile stresses near the bottom of the *** key purpose of this study is to investigate the efficiency of vertical external prestressing stainless-steel bars in mitigating non-ductile hanger failure in reinforced concrete inverted *** experimental study on six inverted-t beams,including two un-strengthened specimens,was carried *** study showed that the value of the prestressing level had a considerable impact on the performance of hanger mechanism in relation to crack pattern,ultimate loads,cracking behavior,load-deflection,strains,and *** experimental results indicated that the suggested method for strengthening inverted t-beams had efficacy in reducing the seriousness of the non-ductile hanger failure and resulted in a strength increase of up to 53% when compared to that of the un-strengthened ***,two analytical models for estimating the hanger capacity and the average crack width of the strengthened RC inverted t-beams were *** models that were proposed exhibited a high degree of agreement with the experimental results.

this article reviews the current status on the dynamic behavior of highly stressed rocks under ***,the experimental apparatus,methods,and theories related to the disturbance dynamics of deep,high-stress rock are reviewed,followed by the introduction of scholars’research on deep rock deformation and failure from an energy ***,with a backdrop of highstress phenomena in deep hard rock,such as rock bursts and core disking,we delve into the current state of research on rock microstructure analysis and residual stresses from the perspective of studying the energy storage mechanisms in ***,the current state of research on the mechanical response and the energy dissipation of highly stressed rock formations is briefly ***,the insufficient aspects in the current research on the disturbance and failure mechanisms in deep,highly stressed rock formations are summarized,and prospects for future research are *** work provides new avenues for the research on the mechanical response and damage-fracture mechanisms of rocks under high-stress conditions.

A study on clinical outcomes and prognostic factors in t4n0m0 colon cancer patients after R0 resection revealed that ileostomy,t stage,right hemicolectomy,irregular follow-up,and CA199 level were independent risk factors affecting overall survival.t4-stage cancer invades the entire thickness of the intestinal tract,increasing the difficulty of treatment and the risk of recurrence,and requires a combination of chemotherapy,immunotherapy,and targeted therapy to control the spread of cancer *** prognosis of right hemicolectomy is significantly worse than that of left hemicolectomy,and right hemicolectomy is an independent risk factor for a poor *** age,histopathological type,and lymph node metastasis are also risk factors for colon cancer.

In this paper,we consider the parallel-machine customer order scheduling with delivery time and submodular rejection *** this problem,we are given m dedicated machines in parallel and n customer *** order has a delivery time and consists of m product types and each product type should be manufactured on a dedicated *** order is either rejected,in which case a rejection penalty has to be paid,or accepted and manufactured on the m dedicated *** objective is to find a solution to minimize the sum of the maximum delivery completion time of the accepted orders and the penalty of the rejected orders which is determined by a submodular *** design an LP rounding algorithm with approximation ratio of n+1 for this problem.

this paper presents the effects of both poly vinylidene fluoride(PVDF)/carbon black(CB)ratio(m PVDF:m CB)and mixing time t on the dispersion mechanism of the cathode slurry of lithium-ion battery(LIB).the dispersion mechanism is deduced from the electrochemical,morphological and rheological properties of the cathode slurry by using electrical impedance spectroscopy(EIS),scanning electron microscopy and rheology methods,*** the perspective of EIS method,static simulation models are established in the COmSOL multiphysics software;meanwhile,the simulated results are used to verify the correctness of the electrochemical properties of the cathode *** a result,the following conclusions are able to be ***,in the case of the mass ratio m_(PVDF):m_(CB)=5:10,LiCoO_(2) particles are completely coated by the mixture of CB and PVDF to form a stable polymer gel *** or lower m_(PVDF):m_(CB) leads to the larger impedance and worse dispersion status for the cathode ***,when t=6 min,a good gel-like conductive network structure is formed by coating the thinner evenly dispersed CB–PVDF double layer around LiCoO_(2) ***,a strategy regarding to both m_(PVDF):m_(CB) and t in experimental scale is proposed,which has the capability of improving the performance of LIB.

Recent studies have indicated that the injection of carbon dioxide(CO_(2))can lead to increased oil recovery in fractured shale reservoirs following natural *** advancements in understanding mass exchange processes in subsurface formations,there remains a knowledge gap concerning the disparities in these processes between the matrix and fractures at the pore scale in formations with varying *** study aims to experimentally investigate the CO_(2) diffusion behaviors and in situ oil recovery through a CO_(2) huff‘n’puff process in the Jimsar shale oil *** achieve this,we designed three matrix-fracture models with different permeabilities(0.074 mD,0.170 mD,and 0.466 mD)and experimented at 30 mPa and 91℃.the oil concentration in both the matrix and fracture was monitored using a low-field nuclear magnetic resonance(LF-nmR)technique to quantify in situ oil recovery and elucidate mass-exchange *** results showed that after three cycles of CO_(2) huff‘n’puff,the total recovery degree increased from 30.28%to 34.95%as the matrix permeability of the core samples increased from 0.074 to 0.466 mD,indicating a positive correlation between CO_(2) extraction efficiency and matrix *** similar fracture conditions,the increase in matrix permeability further promoted CO_(2) extraction efficiency during CO_(2) huff‘n’***,the increase in matrix permeability of the core had the greatest effect on the extraction of the first-cycle injection in large pores,which increased from 16.42%to 36.64%.the findings from our research provide valuable insights into the CO_(2) huff‘n’puff effects in different pore sizes following fracturing under varying permeability conditions,shedding light on the mechanisms of CO_(2)-enhanced oil recovery in fractured shale oil reservoirs.

It is well known that femtosecond laser pulses can easily spontaneously induce deep-subwavelength periodic surface structures on transparent dielectrics but not on non-transparent ***,in this study,we demonstrate that using high-numerical-aperture 800 nm femtosecond laser direct writing with controlled pulse energy and scanning speed in the near-damage-threshold regime,polarization-dependent deep-subwavelength single grooves with linewidths of~180 nm can be controllably prepared on ***,the single-groove linewidth increases slightly with increase in the pulse energy and decrease in the scanning speed,whereas the single-groove depth significantly increases from~300 nm to~600 nm with decrease in the scanning speed,or even to over 1μm with multi-processing,indicating the characteristics of transverse clamping and longitudinal growth of such deep-subwavelength single *** dispersive spectroscopy composition analysis of the near-groove region confirms that single-groove formation tends to be an ultrafast,non-thermal ablation process,and the oxidized deposits near the grooves are easy to clean ***,the results,showing both the strong dependence of groove orientation on laser polarization and the occurrence of double-groove structures due to the interference of pre-formed orthogonal grooves,indicate that the extraordinary field enhancement of strong polarization sensitivity in the deep-subwavelength groove plays an important role in single-groove growth with high stability and collimation.

Lung cancer ranks the top of malignancies that cause cancer-related deaths *** leaves of morus alba L are traditional Chinese medicine widely applied in respiratory *** previous work has demonstrated the anti-lung cancer effect of secondary metabolites of mulberry leaf,but their mechanism of action has still not fully *** synthesized moracin n(mAn)-Probe conjugated with alkyne to label lung cancer cells and identified protein targets by chemical proteomic *** and its probe exerted similar growth-inhibitory effect on human lung cancer *** proteomic results showed that mAn targeted the programmed death ligand 1(PD-L1)checkpoint pathway and t cell receptor(tCR)signaling pathway,indicating its immune-regulatory ***-free surface plasmon resonance(SPR)results showed the direct interaction of mAn with PD-L1 *** docking analysis demonstrated that mAn bound to E158 residue of PD-L1 *** downregulated the expression levels of PD-L1 in a time-and dose-dependent manner and disrupted the PD-L1/programmed death 1(PD-1)binding,including other secondary metabolites of mulberry leaves Guangsangon E(GSE)and Chalcomoracin(CmR).Human peripheral blood mononuclear cells(PBmCs)co-cultured with mAn-treated A549 cells,resulting in the increase of CD8^(+)GZmB^(+)t cells and the decrease of CD8^(+)PD-1^(+)t *** suggested that mAn exerts anti-cancer effect through blocking the PD-L1/PD-1 *** vivo,mAn combined with anti-PD-1 antibody significantly inhibited lung cancer development and metastasis,indicating their synergistic *** together,secondary metabolites of mulberry leaves target the PD-L1/PD-1 signaling,enhance t cell-mediated immunity and inhibit the tumorigenesis of lung *** modulatory effect on tumor microenvironment makes them able to enhance the therapeutic efficacy of immune checkpoint inhibitors in lung cancer.

Glycosylation is an important post-modification reaction in plant secondary metabolism,and contributes to structural diversity of bioactive natural *** plants,glycosylation is usually catalyzed by *** 2′-O-glycosides are rare ***,no UGts have been reported,thus far,to specifically catalyze 2′-O-glycosylation of *** this work,UGt71AP2 was identified from the medicinal plant Scutellaria baicalensis as the first flavonoid 2′-*** could preferentially transfer a glycosyl moiety to 2′-hydroxy of at least nine flavonoids to yield six new *** of the 2′-O-glycosides showed noticeable inhibitory activities against cyclooxygenase *** crystal structure of UGt71AP2(2.15Å)was solved,and mechanisms of its regio-selectivity was interpreted by pKa calculations,molecular docking,mD simulation,mm/GBSA binding free energy,Qm/mm,and hydrogen‒deuterium exchange mass spectrometry *** structure-guided rational design,we obtained the L138t/V179D/m180t mutant with remarkably enhanced regio-selectivity(the ratio of 7-O-glycosylation byproducts decreased from 48%to 4%)and catalytic efficiency of 2′-O-glycosylation(kcat/Km,0.23 L/(s·μmol),12-fold higher than the native).moreover,UGt71AP2 also possesses moderate UDP-dependent de-glycosylation activity,and is a dual function *** work provides an efficient biocatalyst and sets a good example for protein engineering to optimize enzyme catalytic features through rational design.
