the ESA and CAS SMILE mission orbit is highly elliptical and will pass through multiple radiation *** Soft X-ray Imager(SXI)instrument aboard has a radiation shutter door designed to close when the surrounding radiation flux is *** shutter door will close when passing below an altitude threshold to protect against trapped particles in the Earth’s Van Allen ***,two radiation environments can be approximated based on the shutter door position:open and *** instrument background for the CCDs(Charge-Coupled Devices)that form the focal plane array of the SXI were evaluated for the two *** to the correlation of the space environment with the solar cycle,the solar minima and maxima,the background was also evaluated at these two *** results demonstrated that the highest instrument background will occur during solar minima due to the main contributing source being Galactic Cosmic Rays(GCRs).It was also found that the open background was highest for solar minima and that the closed background was highest during solar *** is due to the radiation shutter door acting as a scattering centre and the changes in the energy flux distribution of the GCRs between the two solar extremes.

this paper examines the transport analysis, including both heat transfer and mass transfer, in hybrid nanofluid flow containing gyrotactic microorganisms towards a curved oscillatory surface. the influence of magnetic fields is also inspected in terms of their physical characteristics. to depict the phenomena of transport, modified versions of both Fick's and Fourier's laws are used. Additionally, the characteristics of both heterogeneous and homogeneous chemical reactions are also incorporated. Utilizing a curvilinear coordinate system, the flow problem is formulated as partial differential equations(PDEs)for momentum, concentration, microorganism field, and energy. An analytical solution to the obtained flow equations is achieved utilizing the homotopy analysis method(HAM).the effects of significant flow parameters on the pressure and microorganism fields, velocity, oscillation velocity, concentration, and temperature distributions are shown via graphs. Furthermore, the variations in skin friction, mass transfer rate, heat transfer rate, and local motile number due to different involved parameters are presented in tables and are analyzed in detail. Graphical results indicate that the curves of velocity and temperature fields are enhanced as the values of the solid volume fraction variables *** is also verified that the concentration rate field decreases as the values of the homogeneous reaction strength parameter and the radius of curvature parameter increase, and it increases with the Schmidt number and the heterogeneous reaction strength *** outcomes show a favorable response of the motile number to advanced values of the Peclet number, the Schmidt number, the microorganism difference parameter, and the bio-convective Lewis number.

Background:Hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)is the most common cause of cancer-related death in Saudi *** study aimed to investigate the patterns of HCC and the effect of tNM staging,Alfa-fetoprotein(AFP),and Child-turcotte Pugh(CtP)on patients’overall survival(OS).Methods:A retrospective analysis was conducted on 43 HCC patients at a single oncology center in Saudi Arabia from 2015 to *** patients had to fulfill one of the following criteria:(a)a liver lesion reported as definitive HCC on dynamic imaging and/or(b)a biopsy-confirmed ***:the mean patient age of all HCC cases was 66.8 with a male-to-female ratio of 3.3:*** patients were stratified into two groups:viral HCC(n=22,51%)and non-viral HCC(n=21,49%).Among viral-HCC patients,55%were due to HBV and 45%due to *** was diagnosed in 79%of *** and sex did not significantly statistically differ in OS among viral and non-viral HCC patients(p-value>0.05).About 65%of patients had tumor size>5 cm during the diagnosis,with a significant statistical difference in OS(p-value=0.027).AFP was>400 ng/ml in 45%of the *** was a statistically significant difference in the OS in terms of AFP levels(p-value=0.021).A statistically significant difference was also observed between the CtP score and OS(p-value=0.02).CtP class B had the longest *** was the most common treatment provided to HCC patients followed by sorafenib *** was a significant statistical difference in OS among viral and non-viral HCC patients(p-value=0.008).Conclusions:the most common predictors for OS were the underlying cause of HCC,AFP,and tumor *** having non-viral etiology,a tumor size>5 cm,an AFP>400 ng/mL,and a CtP score class C were all negatively associated with OS.

In this study, the sufficient condition of almost sure stability of twodimensional oscillating systems under parametric excitations is investigated. the systems considered are assumed to be composed of two weakly coupled subsystems. the driving actions are considered to be stationary stochastic processes satisfying ergodic properties. the properties of quadratic forms are used in conjunction with the bounds for the eigenvalues to obtain, in a closed form, the sufficient condition for the almost sure stability of the systems.

this paper reviews the energetic particle（EP） experiments during electron cyclotron resonance heating（ECRH） and neutral beam injection in the HL-2 A tokamak.A number of important results are summarized,which relate to ItER physics,including the behavior of the multi-mode instability,the nonlinear interaction between wave-wave and wave-particles,the losses of EP induced by the instabilities,the effect of the EP instabilities on the thermal plasma confinement and the control of the EP instabilities by means of *** experiments indicate that when the drive is great enough,the nonlinear effects and the multi-mode coexistence may play an important role,which affect the transport both of the EPs and the background plasma confinement,and these instabilities could be *** new phenomena about the EP induced instabilities discovered recently on the device,such as high frequency reversed shear Alfvén eigenmodes,Alfvénic ion temperature gradient modes,the geodesic acoustic mode induced by energetic electrons excited by interaction between tearing mode and beta induced Alfvén eigenmode and double e-fishbone in negative magnetic shear discharges etc,have also been presented in the paper.

A boundary integral method with radial basis function approximation is proposed for numerically solving an important class of boundary value problems governed by a system of thermoelastostatic equations with variable coe?cients. the equations describe the thermoelastic behaviors of nonhomogeneous anisotropic materials with properties that vary smoothly from point to point in space. No restriction is imposed on the spatial variations of the thermoelastic coe?cients as long as all the requirements of the laws of physics are satis?ed. to check the validity and accuracy of the proposed numerical method, some speci?c test problems with known solutions are solved.

with the development of cold region engineering,it is crucial to study the mechanical properties of frozen *** practice,frozen soil is inevitably subject to impact loading,making the study of frozen soil under impact loading necessary for engineering in cold *** split–Hopkinson pressure bar(SHPB)is an important experimental means for obtaining the dynamic performance of *** this study,an SHPB experiment was conducted on frozen soil under confining *** frozen soil exhibited an evident strain rate effect and temperature effect under confining *** SHPB experiment on frozen soil under confining pressure was simulated numerically using LS-DYNA software and the Holmquist–Johnson–Cook(HJC)material model.A loading simulation with passive confining pressure and active confining pressure was completed by adding an aluminum sleeve and applying a constant *** simulation results obtained using the above methods were in good agreement with the experimental *** strength of the frozen soil under confining pressure was greater than that of the uniaxial impact,and there was an evident confining pressure ***,the confining pressure provided by passive confinement was larger than that provided by active *** passive confining pressure energy absorption efficiency was higher than for the active confining pressure due to the need to absorb more energy under the same damage *** frozen soil exhibited viscoplastic failure characteristics under confining pressure.

Based on the current Service-Oriented Architecture （SOA）, this paper proposes a new collaborative software design methodology in an SOA Environment： the Global Software Enterprise （GSE）. the current SOA is producer-centric, in which the service providers publish services that they produce and let the consumers to search avail- able services to compose their applications. GSE is build on top of Consumer-Centric SOA （CCSOA）, in which the application builders publish their application requirements for the service providers to follow when producing or customizing services to support the application. this new methodology reduces the workload and improves the application description capability of the service consumers. It also extends the capacity of design and code sharing, and thus further improves the software productivity. this paper presents the concepts, architecture, enabling techniques, and illustrative examples of collaborative software design in GSE.
