Calcitonin receptor-like receptor(CRLR)is a human protein,that produces a calcitonin gene-related peptide receptor(CGRP)when associates with human receptor activity-modifying protein-1(HRAMP1).CGRP is believed to be involved in triggering of *** strategies were employed to design antimigraine drug using various CGRP antagonist/ligands but most of them have failed due to their inability to reach the target“CGRP receptor”as they get metabolized before conferring their pharmacological action and exhibit toxic effect to the *** present study,evaluated the binding of 13 phyto-chemical compounds of“Abrus precatorius”identified through GCMS analysis against the protein CGRP using“Discovery Studio software”.the molecular docking study and ADME/t properties prediction were performed with the compounds using C-DOCKER *** results showed that five lead compounds of *** may act as good inhibitors for migraine headache and the compounds can be re-designed and synthesized for better antimigraine activity.

the partial and the integral enthalpies of mixing of liquid Al-Cr and Ni-Cr binary alloys have been determined by high temperature isoperibolic calorimetry at 1723±5 K and 1729±5 K, respectively. the results were analytically described by the thermodynamically adapted power series (tAPS). the enthalpies of mixing values for both binary liquid melts are small and negative and in good agreement with the available literature data. Minima of the mixing enthalpies of liquid Al-Cr and Ni-Cr alloys are -7.0 kJ·mol-1 at 46 at. pct Cr and -3.0 kJ·mol-1 at 37 at. pct Cr, respectively.

the present work mainly focuses on the estimation of various components and the extraction of microcrystalline cellulose(MCC)from non-wood sources like Country Almond/Badam shell through acid *** hydrolyzed MCC was successfully used as reinforcement for development of *** Almond/Badam trees are found all over Kerala,India and they give nuts once in a *** the nut shells are discarded and are becoming one of the sources of agricultural *** this investigation various components were isolated from the Country Almond shells and they were characterised using different spectral and analytical techniques thereby the composition of Country Almond shells was successfully determined for the first *** properties of MCC especially the crystalline nature depends on the source from which is ***-IR spectra give evidence for the chemical structure of *** of MCC was evidenced from scanning electron *** electron microscopy and atomic force microscopy reveal the agglomerated bundles of particles and rough surface of *** extracted MCC was found to contain Cellulose I and Cellulose II polymorphs,and this was confirmed from the X-ray diffraction(XRD)*** MCC extracted from Country Almond shells has reasonably good thermal *** casting method was adopted for the development of green composite of Poly(vinyl alcohol)reinforced with MCC extracted from Country Almond *** mechanical property of developed composites has been enhanced by the addition of *** dispersion of MCC in the PvA matrix and flocculation of MCC significantly influence the mechanical strength.

Passive micromixers are preferred over active mixers for many microfluidic applications due to their relative ease in integration into complex systems and operational *** also incur very low cost of ***,the degree of mixing is comparatively low in passive mixers than active mixers due to the absence of disturbance in the flow by external forces and the inherent laminar nature of microchannel *** designs of complex channel structures and three-dimensional geometries have been investigated in the past to obtain an efficient mixing in passive *** the studies on mixing enhancement with simple planar geometries of passive mixers have been few and *** present work aims to investigate the possibility of mixing enhancement by employing simple planar type designs,such as t-mixer and t–t mixer with cylindrical elements placed in the mixing *** mixing performance has been evaluated in the Reynolds number range of 6 *** results have shown that t–t mixer with cylindrical elements performed significantly well and obtained very good mixing quality over basic t-mixer for the entire range of Reynolds number(6 to 700).the device has also shown better mixing as compared to basic t–t mixer and t-mixer with cylindrical elements.A larger pair of vortices formed in the stagnation area due to the presence of a cylindrical element in the *** elements downstream caused significant enhancement in mixing due to splitting and recombining *** size of the cylindrical element in the t–t mixer has been optimized to obtain better mixing performance of the *** improvement in mixing quality by t–t mixer with cylindrical elements has been obtained at the expense of small rise in pressure drop as compared to other passive designs considered in this ***,the current design of t–t mixer with cylindrical elements can act as an effective and simple passive mixing device for various mi

Un-doped and ZnAl_(x)O_(1.5x+1):0.1 mol%tb^(3+)(ZAOt)nano-powders were synthesized via citrate sol-gel *** AIx moles were varied in the range of 0.25≤x≤*** X-ray powder diffraction(XRD)data reveal that for xthe prepared samples crystal structure consists of mixed phases of the cubic ZnAl_(2)O_(4) and hexagonal ZnO phases,while for x>1.5 the structure consists of single phase of cubic ZnAl_(2)O_(4).the Raman and Fourier-trans form infrared(FtIR)vibrational spectroscopy show the presence of vibrations emanating ZnAl_(2)O_(4) *** electron microscopy(SEM)and transmission electron microscopy(tEM)show the presence of irregular sphere at x>2.0 attributed to ZnAl_(2)O_(4).the photoluminescence(PL)spectroscopy reveals emissions from both the host and tb^(3+)*** from tb^(3+)are observed at 382,414,439,458 nm and 489,545,585,621 nm,which were attributed to the^(5)D_(3)→^(7)F_(6,5,4,2) and ^(5^)D_(4)→^(7)F_(6,5,4,3),*** results confirm that the tb^(3+)occupation site depends on the Alx *** International Commission on Illumination(CIE)colour chromaticity shows that the emission colour can be tuned from blue to green by varying the AIx moles.

CdS and chlorine doped CdS(CdS:Cl) thin films with different Cl-doping levels(0,2,4,6 and 8 at%) have been deposited on glass substrates by a spray pyrolysis technique using a perfume *** effect of Cl doping on the structural,morphological,optical and electrical properties of the films was *** patterns revealed that all the films exhibit hexagonal crystal structure with a preferential orientation along the(0 0 2) plane irrespective of the Cl doping *** particle size value decreases from 22.03 nm to 18.12 nm with increase in Cl *** band gap is blue-shifted from 2.48 ev to 2.73 ev with increase in Cl doping *** the films have resistivity in the order of 10～4 Ω *** obtained results confirm that chlorine as an anionic dopant material can enhance the physical properties of CdS thin films to a large extent.

Diabetic Retinopathy(DR)is a type of disease in eyes as a result of a diabetic condition that ends up damaging the retina,leading to blindness or loss of *** and physiological retinal variations involving slowdown of blood flow in the retina,elevation of leukocyte cohesion,basement membrane dystrophy,and decline of pericyte cells,*** DR in its initial stage has no symptoms,early detection and automated diagnosis can prevent further visual *** this research,using a Deep Neural Network(DNN),segmentation methods are proposed to detect the retinal defects such as exudates,hemorrhages,microaneurysms from digital fundus images and then the conditions are classified accurately to identify the grades as mild,moderate,severe,no PDR,PDR in ***,saliency detection is applied on color images to detect maximum salient foreground objects from the ***,structure tensor is applied powerfully to enhance the local patterns of edge elements and intensity changes that occur on edges of the ***,active contours approximation is performed using gradient descent to segment the lesions from the ***,the output images from the proposed segmentation process are subjected to evaluate the ratio between the total contour area and the total true contour arc length to label the classes as mild,moderate,severe,No PDR and *** on the computed ratio obtained from segmented images,the severity levels were ***,statistical parameters like the mean and the standard deviation of pixel intensities,mean of hue,saturation and deviation clustering,are estimated through K-means,which are computed as features from the output images of the proposed segmentation *** these derived feature sets as input to the classifier,the classification of DR was ***,a vGG-19 deep neural network was trained and tested using the derived feature sets from the KAGGLE fundus image dataset containing 35,126 images in

Background： Landscapes consist of heterogeneous interacting dynamic elements with complex ecological, economic and cultural attributes. these complex interactions help in the sustenance of natural resources through bio-geochemical and hydrological cycling. the ecosystem functions are altered with changes in the landscape structure, Fragmentation of large contiguous forests to small and isolated forest patches either by natural phenomena or anthropogenic activities leads to drastic changes in forest patch sizes, shape, connectivity and internal heterogeneity, which restrict the movement leading to inbreeding among Meta populations with extirpation of species. Methods： Landscape dynamics are assessed through land use analysis by way of remote sensing data acquired at different time periods. Forest fragmentation is assessed at the pixel level through computation of two indicators, i.e., Pf （the ratio of pixels that are forested to the total non-water pixels in the window） and P~ （the proportion of all adjacent （cardinal directions only） pixel pairs that include at least one forest pixel, for which both pixels are forested）. Results： Uttara Kannada District has the distinction of having the highest forest cover in Karnataka State, India. this region has been experiencing changes in its forest cover and consequent alterations in functional abilities of its ecosystem. temporal land use analyses show the trend of deforestation, evident from the reduction of evergreen - semi evergreen forest cover from 57.31% （1979） to 32.08 % （2013） Forest fragmentation at the landscape level shows a decline of interior forests 64.42 % （1979） to 25.62 % （20] 3） and transition of non-forest categories such as crop land, plantations and built-up areas, amounting now to 47.29 %. PCA prioritized geophysical and socio variables responsible for changes in the landscape structure at local levels. this paper investigates the free vibration and transient response of interconnected structures including double curved beams and intermediate straight beams,which are all constructed from functionally graded porous(FGP) materials. the strain potential and kinetic energies of each beam along with the work done by the external force are calculated. Additionally, a higher-order beam element is introduced to derive stiffness and mass matrices, along with the force vector. the curved and straight beams are discretized, and their assembled stiffness, mass matrices, and force vectors, are *** conditions at the joints are used to derive the total matrices of the entire structure. Subsequently, the natural frequencies and transient response of the system are determined. the accuracy of the mathematical model and the self-developed computer program is validated through the comparison of the obtained results with those of the existing literature and commercial software ANSYS, demonstrating excellent ***, a comprehensive study is conducted to investigate the effects of various parameters on the free vibration and transient response of the considered structure.

the paper presents some specific procedures in modelling a deformation vector at deformation investigation of various engineering structures, buildings or terrain surfaces which are exposed by abiotik factors, for example by underground mining activities or recent geotectonic movements. A specific problem in deformation measurements is solved, when the same conditions of a monitoring network structure cannot be kept during all periodic observations.
