Microalgae can be cultivated for producing high-valued products through the production of enzymes to offset the cost of CO_(2) sequestration,providing financial *** viability of algae in the photobioreactor needs to be monitored to ensure biologically active live *** this study,we explored a simple fluorometry method for differentiation of live and dead algal cells in photobioreactors by fluorescein diacetate(FDA)and propidium iodide(PI)fluorescence *** stains fluorescent green to the living cells while PI stains the dead cells,allowing the discrimination of live and dead *** method was evaluated using two green algae and two strains of cyanobacteria grown in shake flasks and a continuously stirred *** method was found applicable for Chlorella pyrenoidosa and Synechococcus 7002 but was not applicable for the cultures of Scenedesmus dimorphus and Synechococcus elongatus *** conclude that FDA is a good stain for monitoring live algal cells in photobioreactors but its applicability to individual species of algae must be evaluated.

Broad-band and long period magnetotelluric measurements made at 63 locations along -500 km long Chikmagalur-Kavali profile,that cut across the Dharwar craton (DC) and Eastern Ghat Mobile Belt (EGMB) in south India,is modelled to examine the lithosphere architecture of the cratonic domain and define tectonic *** 2-D resistivity model shows moderately conductive features that intersperse a highly resistive background of crystalline rocks and spatially connect to the exposed schist belts or granitic intrusions in the *** features are therefore interpreted as images of fossil pathways of the volcanic emplacements associated with the greenstone belt and granite suite formation exposed in the region.A near vertical conductive feature in the upper mantle under the Chitradurga Shear Zone represents the Archean suture between the western and eastern blocks of *** thick (-200 km) cratonic (highly resistive) lithosphere is preserved,significant part of the cratonic lithosphere below the western DC is modified due to plume-continental lithosphere interactions during the Cretaceousetertiary period.A west-verging moderately conductive feature imaged beneath EGMB lithosphere is interpreted as the remnant of the Proterozoic collision process between the Indian land mass and East *** (-120 km) lithosphere is seen below the EGMB,which form the exterior margin of the India shield subsequent to its separation from East Antarctica through rifting and opening of the Indian Ocean in the Cretaceous.

Introduction:Forest cover in Hungary has increased from 1.1 to 2.0 million hectares during the last *** EU(European Union)promotes further afforestation;thus,15,000–18,000 ha are being forested each year,mainly in the Hungarian Great *** terms of species used for afforestation,poplar plantations are preferred over native oak *** groundwater uptake of trees can be a significant water balance element of forested areas in shallow groundwater environments within the Hungarian Great *** can cause water table depressions and subsurface salt accumulation in areas with negative water *** study examined the hydrological impact of forest cover in the Hungarian Great *** the framework of this research,climatic water balance,water table depth and salinity,subsoil layering,tree species and stand age were analysed as influencing *** paper compares the effect which an oak forest,a poplar plantation and a pasture have on groundwater uptake and salt ***:the water table level was roughly 0.4–0.5 m lower beneath the oak forest and the poplar plantation than it was beneath the *** groundwater use was 1.5–2 times higher than that of *** uptake of oak forest was greater than that of poplar plantation during the monitoring *** accumulation,which shows water use in the longer run,was slightly higher for poplar in deeper ***:the greater amount of groundwater used by trees does not lead to a higher salt uptake as only a slight accumulation of salt was measured beneath the ***,hybrid poplar was slightly less favourable than native oak when considering salinization ***,even greater groundwater uptake by trees over longer timescales could cause more significant salt accumulation under pronounced drought conditions due to climate change.

Video gaming has been rising rapidly to become one of the primary entertainment media,especially during the COVID-19 *** video games has been reported to associate with many psychological and behavioral ***,little is known about the connections between game players’behaviors in the virtual environment and environmental ***,the current data set offers valuable resources regarding environmental worldviews and behaviors in the virtual world of 640 Animal Crossing:New Horizons(ACNH)game players from 29 countries around the *** data set consists of six major categories:1)socio-demographic profile,2)COVID-19 concern,3)environmental perception,4)gameplaying habit,5)in-game behavior,and 6)game-playing *** making this data set open,we aim to provide policymakers,game producers,and researchers with valuable resources for understanding the interactions between behaviors in the virtual world and environmental perceptions,which could help produce video games in compliance with the United Nations(UN)Sustainable Development Goals.

从印度娃儿藤节间外植体获取愈伤组织,分析了糖、赤霉素(GA3)及脱落酸(ABA)对愈伤组织形成体细胞的影响。实验证明,含4μmol/L2,4-二氯苯氧乙酸(2,4-D)的MS培养基是获得具有成胚功能的愈伤组织的最佳培养基。在含有6μmol/L激动素(Kn)的MS培养基上,高达69%的愈伤组织分化为体细胞胚,平均单位外植体(每克愈伤组织)产胚25个。在6μmol/LKn存在的条件下,分析了蔗糖、葡糖糖对胚产生的影响,不同的糖及不同糖浓度对体细胞胚的发生影响很大。6μmol/L Kn与200mmol/L蔗糖处理胚胎发生率最大(71%),单位外植体生成49个胚。然而葡萄糖与Kn、或者葡糖糖、蔗糖与Kn三者加在一起则降低成胚率及产胚数。一定浓度的GA3和ABA能促进体细胞胚的产生。在含200mmol/L蔗糖的培养基中加10μmol/LGA3胚的生成率为98%,单位外植体产胚51个。在含200mmol/L蔗糖的培养基中加2μmol/L ABA能显著增加体细胞胚的量,该培养基上每外植体平均生成44个胚,产率为95%。本研究显示,含200mmol/L蔗糖的培养基中分别加入6μmol/L Kn、10μmol/L GA3或者2μmol/L ABA能显著提高印度娃儿藤体细胞胚发生率,而单独的葡萄糖或葡糖糖和蔗糖则有抑制作用。得到的胚均能正常发育并分化为植株。

Separation and recovery of 152+154Eu and 90Sr from radioactive waste using tracer concentration from active material from waste tank in the Et-RR1 Egypt via hollow fiber supported liquid membrane (HFSLM) were achieved. the Polypropylene was used as supporter to carrier 0.5M Cyanex301/kerosene (bis(2,4,4-trimethylpentyl)dithiophosphinic acid and 0.1MEDtA as stripping of 152+154Eu and 90Sr ions from nitrate medium at pH ~3.6. the separation factor was found to be ~4 for 152+154Eu over 90Sr. the aqueous feed of mass transfer coefficient (ki) and the organic mass transfer coefficient (km) were calculated to be (1.52 and 4.5) × 10﹣2cm/s, respectively. In addition, the mass transfer modeling was performed and the validity of the developed model from experimental data was found to join in well with the theoretical values when the Cyanex301 concentration is higher than 1% (v/v). the number of cycles evaluated for complete separation of 152+154Eu and 90Sr is five cycles.

ti-23Nb-0.7ta-2Zr-O gum metal(GM)is an attractive candidate material for applications that require superior mechanical *** our earlier investigation of the GM[1],geometrical softening and the generation of adiabatic shear bands(ASBs)were proposed as primary reasons for the documented anisotropic impact *** the present study,electron backscattered diffraction(EBSD)analysis reveals two different deformed microstructures,i.e.,deformed ultrafine grains(UFGs)and dynamically recrystallized UFGs,formed in the ASBs of GM samples processed by extrusion equal channel angular pressing(ECAP),*** calculation of temperature rise during dynamic compression suggests that the above microstructure differences in the ASBs was originated from their different maximum ASB temperatures(608 K for extruded GM and 1159 K for ECAP-processed GM).Moreover,our calculation on the temperature at the onset of ASBs indicates that microstructural softening is the primary cause for the development of ASBs in both extruded GM(321 K)and ECAP-processed GM(331 K).
