Serrated polyps of the colorectum form a group of related lesions which include aberrant crypt foci (ACF), conventional hyperplastic polyps, mixed (admixed) polyps, serrated adenomas and sessile serrated adenomas. In recent years the molecular differences between these morphologically similar lesions have been highlighted, and their differing biological potential has been realised. In particular, the sessile serrated adenoma has become recognised as the precursor lesion to a group of sporadic colorectal carcinomas characterised by morphological and molecular features distinct from conventional adenomas. these recent findings have challenged the long held paradigm that all colorectal carcinomas arise via the traditional adenoma-carcinoma sequence. In addition, they present a major challenge for the early detection and management of colorectal cancer, which is no longer regarded as a homogeneous entity.

Myxomycete distribution patterns were investigated in a colony of great cormorants(Phalacrocorax carbo sinensis)established in a pine forest in the Curonian Spit,western *** impact on the forest resulted both in vegetation changes and altered types and characteristics of myxomycete *** lowest myxomycete species richness was found in the most active part of the colony with the newest and most numerous *** myxomycete assemblages of the active part of the colony also showed the biggest differences from the reference zone(oligotrophic pine forest).the general abundance of myxomycetes in the territory of the colony was higher due to the presence of the species that are not characteristic of pine *** most abundant species in the territory were Badhamia apiculospora and Perichaena *** with other facultative coprophiles,such rare species as Comatricha mirabilis and Arcyria leiocarpa were found sporulating in the *** Bray-Curtis ordination revealed a tripole gradient of myxomycete distribution in the *** was hypothesized that the first continuum may reflect myxomycete assemblage transition from hypertrophic to oligotrophic habitat;the second continuum may reflect myxomycete assemblage distribution from habitats with limited diversity of available substrata,extreme levels of nutrients and high pH to habitats with high diversity of available substrata,moderate to high levels of nutrients and pH,and the third continuum may reflect myxomycete assemblage distribution from habitats with lower diversity of available substrata,low levels of nutrients and pH to habitats with high diversity of available substrata,moderate to high levels of nutrients and pH.

the synthesis of biological silicon nano-particles(Bio-Si-NPs)is an eco-friendly and lowcost *** is no study focusing on the effect of Bio-Si-NPs on the plants grown on saline soil contaminated with heavy *** this study,an attempt was made to synthesis Bio-Si-NPs using potassium silica florid substrate,and the identified Aspergillus tubingensis AM11 isolate that separated from distribution systems of the potable water.A twoyear field trial was conducted to compare the protective effects of Bio-Si-NPs(2.5 and 5.0 mmol/L)and potassium silicate(10 mmol/L)as a foliar spray on the antioxidant defense system,physio-biochemical components,and the contaminants contents of Phaseolus vulgaris *** on saline soil contaminated with heavy *** findings showed that all treatments of Bio-Si-NPs and potassium silicate significantly improved plant growth and production,chlorophylls,carotenoids,transpiration rate,net photosynthetic rate,stomatal conductance,membrane stability index,relative water content,free proline,total soluble sugars,N,P,K,Ca2+,K+/Na+,and the activities of peroxidase,catalase,ascorbic peroxidase and superoxide oxide *** of Bio-Si-NPs and potassium silicate significantly decreased electrolyte leakage,malondialdehyde,H2 O2,O2·-,Na+,Pb,Cd,and Ni in leaves and pods of Phaseolus vulgaris *** to ***-Si-NPs were more effective compared to potassium *** of Bio-Si-NPs at the rate of 5 mmol/L was the recommended treatment to enhance the performance and reduce heavy metals content on plants grown on contaminated saline soils.

Utilizing arguments imbedded in the pragmatist and hermeneutic traditions, the conclusion emerges that genuinely understanding opposing points of view requires a penetrating and sustained questioning process that finds relief only when the justificatory background material of the other nibbles at the certainty of one’s own position. the implications of the edict that one ought to question to hesitation are then explored, namely, that (1) it suggests what kind of questioning is the right kind of questioning, (2) it suggests a redefinition of what counts as "respect for persons," and (3) it challenges the common assumption that the efficacy of communal inquiry is self-fulfilling and self-regulating, and suggests, by contrast, that facilitators ought to be far more prepared to engage in questioning to hesitation.

ELECtRICAL CONDUCtIVItY OF IODINE DOPED POLY(PHtHALOCYANINAtOSILOXANE)/PPtA BLEND FIBERS

Poly（phthalocyaninatosiloxane）, [Si（Pc）O]n, with the number average degree of polymerization of about 130 was prepared by heating its monomer Si（Pc）（OH）2, in solid state at 420℃for 42 hrs at 10-3 torr dynamic vacuum. the [Si（Pc）O]n powder was iodine doped with I2-bensene solution for 48 hrs. Pure iodine doped poly（phthalocyaninatosiloxune）, {[Si（Pc）O]Iy}n, fibers and {[Si（Pc）O]Iy}n/poly（p-pbenylene terephthalamide） blend fibers were wet-spun with dry nltrogen-sealed teflon lined device. D.C. electrical conductivity of the fibers was measured by the four-probe method with an automated charge transport measurement system from 80K to room temperature. It was found that the dependence of conductivity, σ, on temperature, t, could fit a group of thermal fluctuation-induced tunnelling （tFIt） equations, and that the dependence of conductivity on volume fraction, φ, of the iodine doped {[Si（Pc）O]Iy}n could fit a group of modified percolation equations. A thrce-dimensioual composite plot of σ-1 / t-φshows that these two groups of equations match each other quite well. It has been pointed out that for the blend fibers their composition is the most important factor for both mechanical and electrical properties.

Aortic stenosis(AS)is the most common valvular disease in the western coun-tries and is associated with aging.[1,2]transcatheter aortic valve replacement(tAVR)now offers a therapeutic option for elderly patients who are deemed inoperable and is an excellent alternative for those who are considered high-risk for surgical valve replacement.[3,4]However,mortality after tAVR is still high with one-year and two-year mortality rates of 24.3%and 33.9%,respectively.[5]thus,util-ization of effective risk stratification tools before tAVR cannot be overstated.

Analysis Unking directly genomics, neuroimaging phenotypes and clinical measurements is crucial for understanding psychiatric disorders, but remains ***, we describe a multi-scale analysis using genome-wide SNPs, gene expression, grey matter volume (GMV), and the positive and negative syndrome scale scores (PANSS) to explore the etiology of schizophrenia. With 72 drug-naive schizophrenic first episode patients (FEPs) and 73 matched heathy controls, we identified 108 genes, from schizophrenia risk genes, that correlated significantly with GMV, which are highly co-expressed in the brain during development. Among these 108 candidates, 19 distinct genes were found associated with 16 brain regions referred to as hot clusters (HCs), primarily in the frontal cortex, sensory-motor regions and temporal and parietal *** patients were subtyped into three groups with distinguishable PANSS scores by the GMV of the identified HCs. Furthermore, we found that HCs with common GMV among patient groups are related to genes that mostly mapped to pathways relevant to neural signaling, which are associated with the risk for *** results provide an integrated view of how genetic variants may affect brain structures that lead to distinct disease *** method of multi-scale analysis that was described in this research, may help to advance the understanding of the etiology of schizophrenia.
