In this paper, we describe an SIS epidemic model where both the disease transmission rate and treatment function are considered in saturated forms. the dynamical behavior of the system is analyzed. the system is customized by considering the disease trans- mission rate and treatment control as fuzzy numbers and then fuzzy expected value of the infected individuals is determined. the fuzzy basic reproduction number is investi- gated and a threshold condition of pathogen is derived at which the system undergoes a backward bifurcation.

Non-thermal plasma has emerged as an effective treatment system against the latest class of highly recalcitrant and toxic environmental pollutants termed emerging contaminants(ECs).In the present work,a detailed experimental study is carried out to evaluate the efficacy of a non-thermal plasma jet with two dyes,Rd.B and ***,as model *** plasma jet provided a complete dye decoloration in 30 min with an applied voltage of 6.5 kV_(p-p).·OH,having the highest oxidation potential,acts as the main reactive species,which with direct action on contaminants also acts indirectly by getting converted into H_(2)O_(2)and O_(3).Further,the effect of critical operational parameters viz,sample pH,applied voltage(4.5–6.5 kV_(p-p)),conductivity(5–20 mS cm^(-1)),and sample distance on plasma treatment efficacy was also *** of all the assessed parameters,the applied voltage and sample conductivity was found to be the most significant operating parameters.A high voltage and low conductivity favored the dye decoloration,while the pH effect was not that *** understand the influence of plasma discharge gas on treatment efficacy,all the experiments are conducted with argon and helium gases under the fixed geometrical *** the gases provided a similar dye decoloration *** DBD plasma system with complete dye removal also rendered maximum mineralization of 73%for Rd.B,and 60%for ***,the system's efficiency against the actual ECs(four pharmaceutical compounds,viz,metformin,atenolol,acetaminophen,and ranitidine)and microbial contaminant(***)was also *** system showed effectivity in the complete removal of targeted pharmaceuticals and a log2.5 *** *** present systematic characterization of dye degradation could be of interest to large communities working towards commercializing plasma treatment systems.

以胡桃壳在450℃裂解得到生物质炭BC450,以胡桃壳与20%沥青砂在450℃裂解得到BCtS20,与商业活性炭(CAC)进行对比研究去除污水中Cr(Ⅵ)的能力。与BC450相比,BCtS20具有更丰富的表面官能团。在适当条件下,BC450、BCtS20、CAC对Cr(Ⅵ)的去除率分别为80.47%、90.01%、95.69%。采用Langmuir、Freundlich、D-R模型研究吸附等温线,其中Langmuir模型最佳。BC450、BCtS20、CAC的最大Langmuir吸附容量分别为36.55、49.76、51.94 mg/g。这些炭材料对Cr(Ⅵ)的吸附可能归因于由离子交换、静电作用与螯合作用引起的化学过程。

As a generalization of an orthodox semigroup in the class of regular semigroups, a type W semigroup was first investigated by El-Qallali and Fountain. As an analogy of the type W semigroups in the class of abundant semigroups, we introduce the U-orthodox semigroups. It is shown that the maximum congruence μ contained in on U-orthodox semigroups can be determined. As a consequence, we show that a U-orthodox semigroup S can be expressed by the spined product of a Hall semigroup W U and a V-ample semigroup (t,V). this theorem not only generalizes a known result of Hall-Yamada for orthodox semigroups but also generalizes another known result of El-Qallali and Fountain for type W semigroups.

Studies associated with validation of folklore and ethnomedicinal claim of utilization of different plant parts of ‘ spiny amaranth’ (Amaranthus spinosus L.) against degenerative diseases with chemical data, particularly the bioactive polyphenolic compounds and associated anti-degenerative properties are scanty and is the purpose of the present investigations. RP-HPLC coupled photodiode assay was employed for the quantification of twenty-one health promoting bioactive polyphenolic antioxidants derived from phenylpropanoid pathway from different plant parts of Amaranthus spinosus L. for validating organoleptic traditional claims as well as current trends in practice of this underutilized medicinal herb. Further, important water-soluble vitamins [vitamin B1, B2, B3, B6, B9] present in different plant parts were extracted and estimated through RP-HPLC for validating the claim of their functional food properties. the antioxidant-based functional food property of different plant parts of Amaranthus spinosus were corroborated from the data of in vitro free radical scavenging, metal-chelating, reducing, superoxide radical scavenging, hydroxyl radical scavenging, anti-protein coagulation, anti-lipid peroxidation and antidiabetic properties. When compared, a positive correlation in accumulation of polyphenolic compounds and water-soluble vitamins tested with antioxidant attributes were noticed for different plant parts, strongly substantiating their phytonutrient properties. taken as a whole, the present work provides data on organ-specific bioavailability of bioactive polyphenolic antioxidant compounds, water soluble B- vitamins and their functional attributes for validating traditional claims as well as existing trends in consumption of this underutilized medicinal vegetable as low-cost natural antioxidant supplement and functional food, which may encourage their effective exploration and utilization.

Determining the migration routes and connections of migratory birds at the population level helps clarify intraspecific differences in *** subspecies have been recognized in the Whimbrel(Numenius phaeopus)in *** is the most recently described *** breeds in Central Siberia,while its non-breeding region and migration routes are still *** tracked the migration of Eurasian Whimbrels captured at three non-breeding sites(Moreton Bay in east coast of Australia,Roebuck Bay in Northwest Australia and Sungei Buloh Wetland in Singapore)and two migration stopover sites(Chongming Dongtan and Mai Po Wetland in China).We determined the breeding sites and inferred the subspecies of the tagged birds in the East Asian–Australasian Flyway(EAAF)based on the known breeding distribution of each *** the 30 tagged birds,6 and 21 birds bred in the breeding range of *** and variegatus,respectively;one bred in the presumed transition area between the breeding range of *** and rogachevae,and two bred in the region between the breeding range of *** and *** birds that bred in the *** breeding range spent their non-breeding season in the northern Sumatra,Singapore,East Java and Northwest Australia and mainly stopped over along China's coasts during *** of our birds bred in the exclusive breeding range of the phaeopus *** studies have predicted that rogachevae whimbrels migrate along the Central Asian Flyway and spend the non-breeding season in West India and East *** found that at least some rogachevae whimbrels migrate along the EAAF and spend the non-breeding season in Southeast Asia and *** *** is at best sparsely distributed in the EAAF in the west region,or possibly does not occur at all.

AbstractLet G be a finite group and H a subgroup of G. then H is said to be S-permutable in G if HP = PH for all Sylow subgroups P of G. Let H sG be the subgroup of H generated by all those subgroups of H which are S-permutable in G. then we say that H is S-embedded in G if G has a normal subgroup t and an S-permutable subgroup C such that t ∩ H ? H sG and Ht = C.Our main result is the followingtheorem AA group G is supersoluble if and only if for every non-cyclic Sylow subgroup P of the generalized Fitting subgroup F*(G) of G, at least one of the following holds: Every maximal subgroup of P is S-embedded in G.Every cyclic subgroup H of P with prime order or order 4 (if P is a non-abelian 2-group and H ? Z ∞ (G)) is S-embedded in G.

Many migratory birds exhibit interannual consistency in migration schedules,routes and stopover *** the interannual consistency in spatiotemporal characteristics helps understand the maintenance of migration and enables the implementation of targeted conservation *** tracked the migration of Whimbrel(Numenius phaeopus)in the East Asian-Australasian Flyway and collected spatiotemporal data from individuals that were tracked for at least two *** non-parametric tests were used to compare the interannual variations in the dates of departure from and arrival at breeding/nonbreeding sites,and the inter-annual variation in the longitudes when the same individual across the same *** exhibited a high degree of consistency in the use of breeding,nonbreeding,and stopover sites between *** variation of arrival dates at nonbreeding sites was significantly larger than that of the departure dates from nonbreeding and breeding *** used stopover sites by the same individuals in multiple years were concentrated in the Yellow Sea coast during northward migration,but were more widespread during southward *** stopover duration at repeatedly used sites was significantly longer than that at sites used only *** flying across the Yellow Sea,Whimbrels breeding in Sakha(Yakutia)exhibited the highest consistency in migration routes in both autumn and ***,the consistency in migration routes of Yakutia breeding birds was generally higher than that of birds breeding in *** results suggest that the northward migration schedule of the Whimbrels is mainly controlled by endogenous factors,while the southward migration schedule is less affected by endogenous *** repeated use of stopover sites in the Yellow Sea coast suggests this region is important for the migration of Whimbrel,and thus has high conservation value.
