this paper highlights the crucial role of Indonesia’s GNSS receiver network in advancing Equatorial Plasma Bubble(EPB)studies in Southeast and East Asia,as ionospheric irregularities within EPB can disrupt GNSS signals and degrade positioning *** by the Indonesian Geospatial Information Agency(BIG),the Indonesia Continuously Operating Reference Station(Ina-CORS)network comprises over 300 GNSS receivers spanning equatorial to southern low-latitude ***-CORS is uniquely situated to monitor EPB generation,zonal drift,and dissipation across Southeast *** provide a practical tool for EPB research,by sharing two-dimensional rate of total Electron Content(tEC)change index(ROtI)derived from this *** generate ROtI maps with a 10-minute resolution,and samples from May 2024 are publicly available for further scientific *** preliminary findings from the ROtI maps of Ina-CORS are ***,the Ina-CORS ROtI maps reveal that the irregularities within a broader EPB structure persist longer,increasing the potential for these irregularities to migrate farther ***,we demonstrate that combined ROtI maps from Ina-CORS and GNSS receivers in East Asia and Australia can be used to monitor the development of ionospheric irregularities in Southeast and East *** have demonstrated the combined ROtI maps to capture the development of ionospheric irregularities in the Southeast/East Asian sector during the G5 Geomagnetic Storm on May 11,*** observed simultaneous ionospheric irregularities in Japan and Australia,respectively propagating northwestward and southwestward,before midnight,whereas Southeast Asia’s equatorial and low-latitude regions exhibited irregularities *** sharing ROtI maps from Indonesia and integrating them with regional GNSS networks,researchers can conduct comprehensive EPB studies,enhancing the understanding of EPB behavior across Southeast and East Asia and contributing significantly to ionosphe

Bone and soft tissue tumors presenting as sciatic notch dumbbell masses: A critical differential diagnosis of sciatica

AIM to study the clinical findings and characteristic features in sciatic notch dumbbell tumors(SNDts).MEtHODS We retrospectively reviewed the clinical outcomes and characteristic features of consecutive cases of SNDts(n = 8). RESULtS Buttock masses occurred in three patients with SNDt(37.5%). Severe buttock tenderness and pain at rest were observed in seven patients with SNDts(87.5%). Remarkably, none of the patients with SNDts experienced back pain. Mean tumor size was 8.4 ± 2.0 cm(range, 3.9 to 10.6 cm) and part of the tumor mass was detected in 2 patients in the sagittal view of lumbar magnetic resonance imaging(MRI).CONCLUSION the clinical information regarding to SNDts is scarce. the authors consider that above mentioned characteristic findings may facilitate the suspicion of pelvic pathology and a search for SNDt by MRI or computed tomography should be considered in patients presenting with sciatica without evidence of spinal diseases.

Evaluation of gut dysbiosis using serum and fecal bile acid profiles

Dysbiosis in the intestinal microflora can affect the gut production of microbial metabolites,and toxic substances can disrupt the barrier function of the intestinal wall,leading to the development of various *** levels of Clostridium subcluster XIVa(XIVa)are associated with the intestinal dysbiosis found in inflammatory bowel disease(IBD)and Clostridium difficile infection(CDI).Since XIVa is a bacterial group responsible for the conversion of primary bile acids(BAs)to secondary BAs,the proportion of intestinal XIVa can be predicted by determining the ratio of deoxycholic acid(DCA)/[DCA+cholic acid(CA)]in feces *** example,serum DCA/(DCA+CA)was significantly lower in IBD patients than in healthy controls,even in the remission *** results suggest that a low proportion of intestinal XIVa in IBD patients might be a precondition for IBD onset but not a consequence of intestinal *** report showed that a reduced serum DCA/(DCA+CA)ratio could predict susceptibility to ***,the BA profile,particularly the ratio of secondary to primary BAs,can serve as a surrogate marker of the intestinal dysbiosis caused by decreased XIVa.

＜正＞the carbon nanotubes （ CNt）/unsaturated polyester resin （ UPR ） nanocomposites were fabricated, and their mechanical property, electrical conduction and percolation behavior were investigated experimentally and theoretically. the carbon nanotubes used in this study were those by the chemical vapor deposition （ CVD ） method. two carbon nanotubes, VGCF （ diameter 150 nm）and VGNF（ diameter 80 nm） , were used. the mechanical damping and storage modulus of the composites were measured using a dynamic mechanical analyzer（ DMA）. Damping factor decreases with an increment of the fiber volume fraction. the electrical conductivity of the nanocomposites was measured as a function of carbon nanotube volume fraction in order to understand percolation behavior. the nanocomposites showed the electrical conductivity with low percolation threshold between 2 vol% and 3 vol%. Moreover, the percolation threshold was examined based on simulation calculations. the critical carbon nanotube volumes fraction is in a good agreement with both the theoretical prediction and the experiment results.

Radiofrequent ablation(RFA)for treating hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)has prevailed in Japan since it was assured legally to use in *** to algorithm of treating HCC,the application of RFA was 3 nodules whose diameter are less then 3cm or single nodule within 5cm in *** instruments are devided into expansive needle type and cool-tip *** tip needle system has been more accepted in our country because of small puncture *** RFA ablation,safety margin of more than 5mm is required to bring about local control. Incidence of local recurrence after RFA for HCC≦3cm and＞3cm were 6 to 21% and 8 to 40% respectively. Incidence of intrahepatic distant recurrence was 33 to 85% three years *** are also some reports decribing the complication and problems of *** presentation is focused on the complication of RFA.

MICROStRUCtURES AND MECHANICAL PROPERtIES OF IN-SItU Al_2O_3/tiAl COMPOSItES BY EXOtHERMIC DISPERSION MEtHOD

In-situ Al2O3/tiAl composites were fabricated by pressure-assisted exothermic dispersion （PAXD） method from elemental powder mixtures of ti, Al, tiO2, and Nb2O5. the microstructures and mechanical properties of the as-sintered composites are investigated. the results show that the as-sintered products consist of γ-tiAl, α2-ti3Al, Al2O3, and NbAl3 phases. Microstructure analysis indicates that Al2O3 particles tend to disperse on the grain boundaries. Application of a moderate pressure of 35 MPa at 1200℃ yields Al2O3/tiAl composites with fine Al2O3 reinforcement and a discontinuous network linking by Al2O3 particles. the aluminide component has a fine submicron γ ＋α2 lamellar microstructure. With increasing Nb2O5 content, Al2O3 particles are dispersed uniformly in the matrix. the hardness of the composites increases gradually, and the bending strength and fracture toughness of the composites reach to the maximum value, respectively.

Bifurcation Points of Periodic triangular Patterns Obtained in Reaction-Diffusion System with Anisotropic Diffusion

turing demonstrated that spatially heterogeneous patterns can be self-organized, when the two substances interact locally and diffuse randomly. turing systems have been applied not only to explain patterns observed within the biological and chemical fields, but also to develop image information processing tools. In a twin study, to evaluate the V-shaped bundle of the inner ear outer hair, we developed a method that utilizes a reaction-diffusion system with anisotropic diffusion that exhibited triangular patterns with the introduction of a certain anisotropy strength. In this study, we explored the parameter range over which these periodic triangular patterns were obtained. First, we defined an index for triangular clearness, tC. triangular patterns can be obtained by introducing a large anisotropy δ, but the range of δ depends on the diffusion coefficient. We found an explanatory variable that can explain the change in tC based on a heuristic argument of the relative distance of the pitchfork bifurcation point between the maximum and minimum anisotropic diffusion function values. Clear periodic triangular patterns were obtained when the distance between the minimum anisotropic function value and pitchfork bifurcation point was over 2.5 times the distance to the anisotropic diffusion function maximum value. By changing the diffusion coefficients or the reaction terms, we further confirmed the accuracy of this condition using computer simulation. Its relevance to diffusion instability has also been discussed.

Effect of Aluminum on FOX-7 Structure

the effect of aluminum on FOX-7 structure was considered. Density functional approach at the level of unrestricted B3LYP/6-311++G(d,p) level was adopted. the model considered 1-4 aluminum atoms per FOX-7 molecule. the results show that the molecular geometries as well as many molecular orbital characteristics of FOX-7 molecule are subjected multiplicity of the composites, FOX-7 + n Al ( n =1-4). In the case of n =1-2, some conformational changes occur. In the presence of three aluminum atoms, the quartet state of the composite is stable but in the doublet state, one of the N—O bonds ruptures. As for the n =4 case the singlet and triplet states are stable but in the quintet state one of the N—O bonds cleaves. As the number of aluminum atoms increases, the HOMO-LUMO energy gap decreases generally.

the effect of magnesium atom on 2,4,6,8,10,12-hexanitro-2,4,6,8,10,12-hexaazaisowurtizane(HNIW,CL-20)explosive is considered within the constraints of density functional theory at the level of B3LYP/6-31++G(d,p).the Mg atom transfers some electron population to CL-20and one of the nitro groups linked to 6-membered piperazine ring system(base)is expelled in the prenitrite *** total Mulliken charges on the NO2group reveals that the respective nitramine bond in CL-20is the most susceptible one to *** calculated IR and UV-VIS spectra are *** effect of Mg atom on the molecular orbital energies,especially the HOMO and LUMO has been *** of the interfrontier molecular orbital energy gap(Δε)in the composite system ***,the composite system is more susceptible to impact compared to CL-20.

Effect of size on biaxial flexural strength for cement-based materials by using a triangular plate method

the effect of size on the biaxial flexural strength(BFS)of Portland cement mortar was investigated by using the recently proposed triangular plate method(tPM).An experimental program was conceived to study the size effect by keeping a constant water-cement ratio of 0.485,cement-sand ratio of 1:2.75,and using unreinforced triangular mortar plates of five different thicknesses and seven different side *** BFS of the produced specimens was tested,and variations of BFS depending on specimen thickness and side length were *** results indicated that increases in triangular plate specimen side length and specimen thickness led to a decrease in the BFS of Portland cement *** effect of specimen length increase on BFS was more significant than on the effect of the specimen *** variations in specimens’thickness indicated a deterministic type I size effect,while the variations in specimens’length showed an energetic-statistical type I size effect.
