BACKGROUNd: Ron receptor tyrosine kinase signaling in macrophages, including Kupffer cells and alveolar macrophages,suppresses endotoxin-induced proinflammatory cytokine/chemokine production. Further, we have also identified genes from Ron replete and Ron deplete livers that were differentially expressed during the progression of liver inflammation associated with acute liver failure in mice by microarray *** important genes and signaling pathways have been identified downstream of Ron signaling during progression of inflammation by this approach, the precise role that Ron receptor plays in regulating the transcriptional landscape in macrophages, and particular in isolated Kupffer cells, has still not been ***: Kupffer cells were isolated from wild-type(tK+/+)and Ron tyrosine kinase deficient(tK-/-) mice. Ex vivo, the cells were treated with lipopolysaccharide(LPS) in the presence or absence of the Ron ligand, hepatocyte growth factor-like protein(HGFL). Microarray and qRt-PCR analyses were utilized to identify alterations in gene expression between ***: Microarray analyses identified genes expressed differentially in tK+/+ and tK-/- Kupffer cells basally as well as after HGFL and LPS treatment. Interestingly, our studies identified Mefv, a gene that codes for the anti-inflammatory protein pyrin, as an HGFL-stimulated Ron-dependent ***, lipocalin 2, a proinflammatory gene, which is induced by LPS, was significantly suppressed by HGFL *** results were validated by qRt-PCR studies on Kupffer cells treated with LPS and ***: the studies herein suggest a novel mechanism whereby HGFL-induced Ron receptor activation promotes the expression of anti-inflammatory genes while inhibiting genes involved in inflammation with a net effect of diminished inflammation in macrophages.

Background:It remains unclear whether studies comparing _(max)imal oxygen uptake(VO_(2max))response to sprint interval training(SIt)***-intensity continuous training(MICt)are associated with a high risk of bias and poor reporting *** purpose of this study was to evaluate the risk of bias and quality of reporting in studies comparing changes in VO_(2max) between SIt and ***:We conducted a comprehensive literature search of 4 major databases:AMEd,CINAHL,EMBASE,and *** were excluded if participants were not healthy adult humans or if training protocols were unsupervised,lasted less than 2 weeks,or utilized mixed exercise *** used the Cochrane Collaboration tool and the CONSORt checklist for non-pharmacological trials to evaluate the risk of bias and reporting quality,***:twenty-eight studies with 30 comparisons(3 studies included 2 SIt groups)were included in our meta-analysis(n=360 SIt participants:body mass index(BMI)=25.9±3.7 kg/m^(2),baseline VO_(2max)=37.9±8.0 mL/kg/min;n=359 MICt participants:BMI=25.5±3.8 kg/m^(2),baseline VO_(2max)=38.3±8.0 mL/kg/min;all mean±Sd).All studies had an unclear risk of bias and poor reporting ***:Although we observed a lack of superiority between SIt and MICt for improving VO_(2max)(weighted Hedge’s g=0.004,95%con-fidence interval(95%CI):-0.08 to 0.07),the overall unclear risk of bias calls the validity of this conclusion into *** studies using robust study designs are needed to interrogate the possibility that SIt and MICt result in similar changes in VO_(2max).

Pattern synthesis in 3-d opportunistic digital array radar(OdAR) becomes complex when a multitude of antennas are considered to be randomly distributed in a three dimensional *** order to obtain an optimal pattern,several freedoms must be constrained.A new pattern synthesis approach based on the improved genetic algorithm(GA) using the least square fitness estimation(LSFE) method is *** optimized by this method include antenna locations,stimulus states and phase *** new algorithm demonstrates that the fitness variation tendency of GA can be effectively predicted after several "eras" by the LSFE *** is shown that by comparing the variation of LSFE curve slope,the GA operator can be adaptively modified to avoid premature convergence of the *** validity of the algorithm is verified using computer implementation.

Automatic seizure detection is important for fast detection of the seizure because the way that the expert denotes and searches for seizure in the long signal takes time. the most common way to detect seizures automatically is to use an electroencephalogram(EEG). Many studies have used feature extraction that needs time for calculation. In this study, sliding discrete Fourier transform(SdFt) was applied for conversion to a frequency domain without using a window, which was compared with using window for feature selection. SdFt was calculated for each time series sample directly without any delay by using a simple infinite impulse response(IIR)structure. the EEG database of Bonn University was used to test the proposed method, and two cases were defined to examine a two-classifier feedforward neural network and an adaptive network-based fuzzy inference system. Results revealed that the maximum accuracies were 93% without delay and 99.8% with a one-second delay. this delay accrued because the average was taken for the results with a one-second window.

the structure and magnetic properties of rare-earth ions tm^(3+)Kagomé lattice tm_(3)Sb_(3)Mg_(2)O_(14)are studied by x-ray diffraction,magnetic susceptibility and muon spin relaxation(𝜇SR)*** existence of a small amount of tm/Mg site-mixing disorder is *** magnetic susceptibility measurement shows that tm^(3+)magnetic moments are antiferromagnetically correlated with a negative Curie-Weiss temperature of−26.3 *** long-range magnetic order nor spin-glass transition is observed by dC and AC magnetic susceptibility,and confirmed by μSR experiment down to 0.1 ***,the emergence of short-range magnetic order is indicated by the zero-field μSR experiments,and the absence of spin dynamics at low temperatures is evidenced by the longitudinal-field μSR *** with the results of tm_(3)Sb_(3)Zn_(2)O_(14),another tm-based Kagomé lattice with much more site-mixing disorder,the gapless spin liquid like behaviors in tm_(3)Sb_(3)Zn_(2)O_(14)can be induced by disorder *** with perfect geometrical frustration are in urgent demand to establish whether QSL exists in this kind of materials with rare-earth Kagomé lattice.
