In this work,we propose a stateless blockchain called CompactChain,which compacts the entire state of the UtXO(Unspent transaction Output)based blockchain systems into two RSA *** first accumulator is called transaction Output(tXO)commitment which represents the tXO *** second one is called Spent transaction Output(StXO)commitment which represents the StXO *** this work,we discuss three algorithms:(i)to update the tXO and StXO commitments by the *** miner also provides the proofs for the correctness of the updated commitments;(ii)to prove the transaction’s validity by providing a membership witness in tXO commitment and non-membership witness against StXO commitment for a coin being spent by a user;(iii)to update the witness for the coin that is not yet spent;the experimental results evaluate the performance of the CompactChain in terms of time taken by a miner to update the commitments and time taken by a validator to verify the commitments and validate the *** compare the performance of CompactChain with the existing state-of-the-art works on stateless *** shows a reduction in commitments update complexity and transaction witness size which inturn reduces the mempool size and propagation latency without compromising the system throughput(transactions per second(tPS)).

“Serum tumor markers expression(CA19-9,CA242,and CEA)and its clinical implications in type 2 diabetes mellitus”authored by Meng and Shi presents an observational case-control study investigating the correlation between tumor markers and type 2 diabetes mellitus(t2DM).the study explores the diagnostic accuracy of tumor markers,particularly cancer antigen 19-9(CA19-9),CA242,and carcinoembryonic antigen,in poorly controlled t2DM patients with hemoglobin A1c levels exceeding 9%,employing receiver operating characteristic curve *** study offers valuable insights into the potential utility of tumor markers in clinical practice,caution is advised regarding routine tumor marker testing due to challenges such as limited availability and ***,the study overlooks potential confounding factors like smoking and alcohol *** in CA19-9 and CA242 expression underscore the complex interplay between tumor markers and systemic diseases,warranting further investigation into their diagnostic and prognostic *** Meng and Shi represent a significant contribution to the field,more extensive research is needed to fully elucidate the role of tumor markers in diabetes management and beyond.

A series of orange-red light emitting Ca_(2)MgSi_(2)O_(7):Sm^(3+)nanopowders were fabricated via low-cost ecofriendly green combustion technique using Aloe vera gel as *** phase purity of the samples were confirmed by the powder X-ray diffraction(PXRD)*** single-phase tetragonal structure is observed from the PXRD results with no additional impurity *** band gap energy of the fabricated powders was estimated by diffuse reflectance spectra(DRS)and is found to be in the range of 4.01-5.98 eV.A high resolution scanning electron microscope(SEM)was used to study the morphological behaviour of the ***-like structures are observed from the SEM *** particle size was evaluated by transmission electron microscopy(tEM)and is found to be~50 *** interplanar distance is found to be 0.53 *** properties were systematically studied in *** phosphors are successfully excited at 403 nm NUV light,producing reddish-orange characteristic *** emission peaks are centered at 558(^(4)G_(5/2)→^(6)H_(5/2)),607(^(4)G_(5/2)→^(6)H_(7/2))and 645 nm(^(4)G_(5/2)→^(6)H_(9/2)),*** the observed peaks the red emanation(^(4)G_(5/2)→^(6)H_(7/2))is stronger than the orange emission(^(4)G_(5/2)→^(6)H_(5/2))in the current *** photoluminescent concentration quenching is noticed above 5 mol%Sm^(3+)ion doping *** dipole-dipole interaction resulting in cross relaxation is found to be the principal cause of concentration quenching *** color features such as Commission Internationale de I’Eclairage(CIE)and correlated color temperature(CCt)were studied in *** optimized chromaticity coordinates were estimated to be(0.6363,0.3632),which fall in the reddish-orange *** average CCt value obtained is 3362 *** average color purity is found to be~82%.Sm^(3+)incorporated Ca_(2)MgSi_(2)O_(7) samples are possible contender for single white light generation commercial candidates owing to

this paper is aimed at adapting Artificial Neural Networks (ANN) to predict the strength properties of SIFCON containing different minerals admixture. the investigations were done on 84 SIFCON mixes, and specimens were cast and tested after 28 days curing. the obtained experimental data are trained using ANN which consists of 4 input parameters like Percentage of fiber (PF), Aspect Ratio (AR), type of admixture (tA) and Percentage of admixture (PA). the corresponding output parameters are compressive strength, tensile strength and flexural strength. the predicted values obtained using ANN show a good correlation between the experimental data. the performance of the 4-14-3 architecture was better than other architectures. It is concluded that ANN is a highly powerful tool suitable for assessing the strength characteristics of SIFCON.

Low velocity impact experiments were carried out on E-glass/epoxy composite laminates having varying thicknesses at sub zero and elevated temperatures using hemi spherical steel impactor of 16 mm diameter with impact energies in the rage of 50-150 *** performance of the laminates was assessed in terms of energy absorption,maximum displacement,peak force and failure *** indicated that the effect of temperature on energy absorption of the laminate is negligible although the laminates are embrittling at sub zero *** it has influence on failure behaviour and *** force has increased linearly with increase in laminate thickness from 5 to 10 *** it got reduced by 25% when temperature was increased from-20℃ to 100℃,Based on experimental results,laminate perforation energies were predicted using curve fitting *** analysis was carried out using taguchi method to identify the global effects of various parameters on laminate performance and confirmed that the laminate thickness has significant influence as compared to temperature,for the studied range.

to analyse the self-healing capacities in terms of mechanical performance of the pozzolanic materials,such as,fly ash,metakaolin and silica fume and crystalline ***-cracked concrete cubes with about 0.05 mm width were exposed to four different environmental conditions at different exposure times in order to determine the effect of temperature and water availability on the self-healing *** the exposure,the control and tested concrete cubes were evaluated for regained strength,void reduction,corrosion inhibition,damp proofing,relative impermeability and *** samples with SF10CA have better cementitious filling and low percentage of voids and water absorption.

the present paper reports the results of experimental investigations on the effect of diffuser vane shape on the performance of a centrifugal compressor stage. these studies were conducted on the chosen stage having a back- ward curved impeller of 500 turn tip diameter and 24.5 mm width and its design flow coefficient is Фd=0.0535. three different low solidity diffuser vane shapes namely uncarnbered aerofoil, constant thickness flat plate and circular arc cambered constant thickness plate were chosen as the variants for diffuser vane shape and all the three shapes have the same thickness to chord ratio （t/c=0.1）. Flow coefficient, polytropic efficiency, total head coeffi- cient, power coefficient and static pressure recovery coefficient were chosen as the parameters for evaluating the effect of diffuser vane shape on the stage performance. the results show that there is reasonable improvement in stage efficiency and total head coefficient with the use of the chosen diffuser vane shapes as compared to conven- tional vaneless diffuser. It is also noticed that the aero foil shaped LSD has shown better performance when com- pared to flat plate and circular arc profiles. the aerofoil vane shape of the diffuser blade is seen to be tolerant over a considerable range of incidence.

the objective of the present study is to develop cost effective thermoplastic hybrid laminate using Dyneema®HB50 and tensylon®HSBD 30A through structural hybridization *** having 20 mm thickness were fabricated and subjected to 7.6239 mm mild steel core projectile with an impact velocity of 730±10 ms*** such as energy absorption,back face deformation and rate of back face deformation were measured as a function of hybridization *** was observed that hybrid laminate with 50:50 ratio(w/w)of tensylon®and Dyneema®with tensylon®as front face showed 200%more energy absorption when compared to 100%tensylon®laminate and showed equal energy absorption as that of expensive 100%Dyneema®***,hybrid laminate with tD50:50 ratio showed 40%lower in terms of final back face deformation than Dyneema®*** of back face deformation was also found to be slow for hybrid laminate as compared to Dyneema®*** mechanical analysis showed that,tensylon®laminate has got higher stiffness and lower damping factor than Dyneema®and hybrid *** interface between tensylon®and Dyneema®layers was found to be separating during the penetration process due to the poor interfacial *** behaviour of laminates for different hybridization ratios were studied by sectioning the impacted *** was observed that,the tensylon®laminate has undergone shear cutting of fibers as major failure mode whereas the hybrid laminate showed shear cutting followed by tensile stretching,fiber pull out and *** inputs are highly useful for body armour applications to design cost effective armour with enhanced performance.
