在数据采集的各个阶段,地震信号都受到不同类型噪声的干扰。这些噪声可分为四种基本类型: 仪器噪声; 震源产生的规则噪声; 电磁感应噪声; 文明噪声。由于数据中的振幅和相位信息只有在有利的信噪比条件下才可用于度量岩性,因此,信噪比已成为一种关键的因素。在发展数据采集系统时需要新的手段,即: 在日常工作中连续监控各数据道的信噪比; 估价震源产生的规则噪声的主频和速度,从而修正野外工作参数以取得最佳的信噪比; 利用特殊的,优于标准陷波器与共模滤波器的线路,抑制电磁感应; 用算法降低文明噪声引起的数据恶化; 提供更加接近于最终产品的数据监控器; 定量评价每个总记录道的保真度。这样,可以向地球物理学家提供一套更加完整的数据,由之可以确定出最佳采集与处理参数。

Exciton-polaritons offer an exceptional platform for future photoelectronic and quantum information applications. the influence of the optical Stark effect on exciton-polaritons in a microcavity embodied with a monolayer WS2 is studied. A polarization dependent model is proposed to study the change of strongly coupled excitons and photons in a WS2 microcavity. It is revealed through both steady and dynamical states analysis that an outside optical Stark pulse can effectively vary the polariton characteristics, such as dispersion, exciton, and photon fractions, through blue shifting of excitonic resonance. thus, the analysis and control of exciton-polaritons in a WS2 microcavity via a spin-selective trigger could be achievable.

Progress in understanding multisensory integration in human have suggested researchers that the integration may result into the enhancement or depression of incoming *** is evident based on different psychological and behavioral experiments that stimuli coming from different perceptual modalities at the same time or from the same place,the signal having more strength under the influence of emotions effects the response *** research inmultisensory integration has not studied the effect of emotions despite its significance and natural influence in multisensory enhancement or ***,there is a need to integrate the emotional state of the agent with incoming stimuli for signal enhancement or *** this study,two different neural network-based learning algorithms have been employed to learn the impact of emotions on signal enhancement or *** was observed that the performance of a proposed system for multisensory integration increases when emotion features were present during enhancement or depression of multisensory signals.

Education sector has witnessed several changes in the recent *** changes have forced private universities into fierce competition with each other to get more students *** competition has resulted in the adoption of marketing practices by private universities similar to commercial *** get competitive gain,universities must observe and examine the students’feedback on their own social media sites along with the social media sites of their *** study presents a novel framework which integrates numerous analytical approaches including statistical analysis,sentiment analysis,and text mining to accomplish a competitive analysis of social media sites of the *** techniques enable local universities to utilize social media for the identification of the most-discussed topics by students as well as based on the most unfavorable comments received,major areas for improvement.A comprehensive case study was conducted utilizing the proposed framework for competitive analysis of few top ranked international universities as well as local private universities in Lahore *** results show that diversity of shared content,frequency of posts,and schedule of updates,are the key areas for improvement for the local *** on the competitive intelligence gained several recommendations are included in this paper that would enable local universities generally and Riphah international university(RIU)Lahore specifically to promote their brand and increase their attractiveness for potential students using social media and launch successful marketing campaigns targeting a large number of audiences at significantly reduced cost resulting in an increased number of enrolments.

Cloud computing is providing It services to its customer based on Service level agreements(SLAs).It is important for cloud service providers to provide reliable Quality of service(QoS)and to maintain SLAs *** service providers need to predict possible service violations before the emergence of an issue to perform remedial actions for *** users’major concerns;the factors for service reliability are based on response time,accessibility,availability,and *** this paper,we,therefore,experiment with the parallel mutant-Particle swarm optimization(PSO)for the detection and predictions of QoS violations in terms of response time,speed,accessibility,and *** paper also compares Simple-PSO and Parallel *** simulation results,it is observed that the proposed Parallel MutantPSO solution for cloud QoS violation prediction achieves 94%accuracy which is many accurate results and is computationally the fastest technique in comparison of conventional PSO technique.

Understanding the flame structure for different combustion in industries has drawn the increasing attention around the ***,for increasing the recent interest of using the hydrogen fuelled vehicles in recent world,structural analysis of flame in combustion chamber has attracted the attention of ***,the high flame temperature and strong flame emissions increase the experimental difficulties,especially,in all kinds of intrusive measurement systems for determining the flame structures and flame ***,a non-intrusive laser interferometer technique based on Shack-Hartmann optical system has been proposed to measure the thermal characteristic of a flame *** the present study,a low-stretched diffusion flame of methanol burner has been ***-Hartmann optical system is a type of wave front *** is commonly used in adaptive optical *** consists of an array of lenses to focus the image onto a photon sensor (photo-detector) at the focal plane and measures the wave front *** major objective of the present study is to develop a laser interferometer measurement technique for analyzing the flame structure and its temperature propagation by measuring the density gradient of the *** interferometer technique is a potential candidate for the non-invasive *** the present paper,a novel method for the measurement of density gradient in flame by using Shack-Hartmann optical system is proposed.A collimated laser beam that has been passed through the flame is tilted due to the density gradient inside the flame.A CCD camera (CCD photo sensor) has been used to observe the wave front tilts at the focal plane.

this paper deals with the magnetohydrodynamic （MHD） flow of an Oldroyd 8-constant fluid in a porous medium when no-slip condition is no longer valid. Modified Darcy＇s law is used in the flow modelling. the non-linear differential equation with non-linear boundary conditions is solved numerically using finite difference scheme in combination with an iterative technique. Numerical results are obtained for the Couette, Poiseuille and generalized Couette flows. the effects of slip parameters on the velocity profile are discussed.

In this papcr,bifurcations and chaos control in a discrete-time Lotka-Volterra predator-prey model have been studied in *** is shown that for all parametric values,model hus boundary equilibria:P00(0,0),Px0(1,0),and the unique positive equilibrium point:P^+xy(d/c,r(c-d)/bc) if c>*** Linearization method,we explored the local dynamics along with different topological classifications about *** also explored the boundedness of positive solution,global dynamics,and existence of prime-period and periodic points of the *** is explored that flip bifurcation occurs about boundary equilibria:Poo(0,0),P.o(1,0),and also there exists a flip bifurcation when parameters of the discrete-time model vary in a small neighborhood of P^+xy(d/c,r(c-d)/bc).Further,it is also explored that about P^+xy(d/c,r(c-d)/bc) the model undergoes a N-S bifurcation,and meanwhile a stable close invariant curves *** the perspective of biology,these curves imply that betwecn predator and prey populations,there exist periodic or quasi-periodic *** simulations are presented to illustrate not only main results but also reveals the complex dynamics such as the orbits of period-2,3,13,15,17 and *** Maximum Lyapunov exponents as well as fractal dimension are computed numeri-cally to justify the chaotic behaviors in the ***,feedback control method is applied to stabilize chaos existing in the model.
