Object.t.e aut.ors performed a ret.ospect.ve st.dy of clinical and radiological dat. obt.ined in 27 Chinese pat.ent. wit. myelopat.y induced by ossificat.on of t.e ligament.m flavum (OLF) who underwent.surgery bet.een March 1990 and March 2002。t.e fact.rs relat.d t. surgical out.ome of t.oracic OLF-induced myelopat.y were also assessed。Met.ods:t.e preoperat.ve clinical feat.res and radiological findings were reviewed ret.ospect.vely。Preoperat.ve and post.perat.ve neurological st.t.s was assessed using t.e Japanese Ort.opaedic Associat.on (JOA) scoring syst.m and t.e Nurick Scale。t.e ossified lesions were classified int. five t.pes (lat.ral, ext.nded, enlarged, fused, and t.berous)。Mult.ple linear regression and logist.c regression analyses were performed t. est.blish t.e fact.rs affect.ng surgical out.ome。t.e pat.ent. chief complaint. were lower-limb weakness and gait.dist.rbance (93 %), numbness and sensory deficit.(89 % ), and low-back pain (48 % )。t.e coexist.ng pat.ological ent.t.es were disc herniat.on, canal st.nosis, and ossificat.on of post.rior longit.dinal ligament.t.e ossified ligament.m flavum was mainly locat.d at.t.e t.0-12 (67%) and t.-3 (15%) levels。Sympt.ms in 26 pat.ent. improved but.resolved complet.ly in only 14 aft.r surgery。t.e mean overall JOA score was 5.3±1.9 preoperat.vely and 7.9±2.3 post.perat.vely。t.ere is a significant.difference bet.een t.e preand post.perat.ve neurological st.t.s (Pt.rmined by t.e St.dent.t.t.st.t.e recovery rat. was (46.3±9.4)%。Mult.ple regression analysis revealed negat.ve correlat.on bet.een t.e durat.on of preoperat.ve sympt.ms and surgical out.ome as well as a posit.ve correlat.on bet.een t.e preoperat.ve JOA score and surgical out.ome。Logist.c regression analysis demonst.at.d t.at.fecal and/or urinary incont.nence, posit.ve pat.llar and/or an- kle clonus, and int.amedullary high t.-weight.d magnet.c resonance (MR) imaging signal change had negat.ve effect. on t.e surgical out.ome。Conclusions:t.e clinica

Only t.e first.and t.ird of t.em can be measurable during t.e medical t.eat.ent.process. Moreover, t.e exact.paramet.r values are admit.ed t. be also unknown. So, here we deal wit. an uncert.in dynamic model t.at.excludes t.e applicat.on of classical filt.ring t.eory and requires t.e applicat.on of robust.filt.rs successfully working in t.e absence of a complet. mat.emat.cal model of t.e considered process. t.e problem is t. est.mat. t.e number of infect.d t.cells based on t.e available informat.on. Here we admit.t.e presence of st.chast.c “whit. noise” in current.observat.ons. t. do t.at.we apply t.e Luenberger-like filt.r (soft.are sensor) wit. a mat.ix gain, which should be adjust.d at.t.e beginning of t.e process in such a way t.at.t.e filt.ring error would be as less as possible using t.e At.ract.ve Ellipsoid Met.od (AEM). It.is shown t.at.t.e corresponding t.aject.ries of t.e filt.ring error converge t. an ellipsoidal set.of a prespecified form in mean-square sense. t. generat. t.e experiment.l dat. sequences in t.e t.st.simulat.on example, we have used t.e well-known simplified HIV/ AIDS model. t.e obt.ined result. confirm t.e effect.veness of t.e suggest.d approach.
