One of t.e most.import.nt.paramet.rs in met.orology is t.e mean wind pro fi le in t.e t.opical cyclone boundary layer. t.e vert.cal pro fi le of wind speed and wind direct.on were measured during t.e period of t.e Nisarga cyclone from May 31st. 2020, t. June 5t., 2020, using t.e newly inst.lled Phased Array Doppler Sodar syst.m at.t.e Cent.r for Space and At.ospheric Science (CSAS), Sanjay Ghodawat.Universit., Kolhapur (16.74 degrees N, 74.37 degrees E; near India ' s west.rn coast.. Our analysis revealed t.at.t.e maximum mean wind speed was 17 m/s on June 3, 2020, at.10:00 ISt. It.also shows t.e change in wind direct.on from sout.west.t. sout.east.on June 2 and 3, 2020. Daily high-resolut.on reanalysis dat. in t.e domain, 0 - 25 degrees N, 65 - 110 degrees E, during t.e period from May 31st.t. June 5t., 2020, revealed t.e variat.on of t.e at.ospheric pressure of t.e Nisarga cyclone from 1000 t. 1008 hPa, sea surface t.mperat.re (SSt. bet.een 30 degrees C and 31 degrees C, out.oing longwave radiat.on (OLR) bet.een 100 and 240 Wm-2 , wind speed bet.een 3 and 15 m/s, and low values of vert.cal wind shear (VWS) were observed t. t.e nort. of Nisarga t.ack. t.ese observat.ons may provide more insight. for t.e st.dy of boundary layer t.rbulence during cyclonic act.vit.es. t.e aim of t.e present.st.dy was t. det.rmine t.e prevalence of bovine cyst.cercosis in bot. cat.le and buffloas, in Egypt.and t. assess t.e cyst.cidal efficacy of Balanit.s aegypt.aca fruit. (B. aegypt.aca) and Moringa oleifera seeds (M. oleifera) ext.act. in experiment.lly infect.d mice. t.e st.dy det.ct.d t.e level of t.mor necrosis fact.r (t.F-α) t. monit.r t.e immune and inflammat.ry responses of experiment.lly infect.d mice. t.rough meat.inspect.on, a t.t.l number of 2125 male bovine, 2 t. 5 years old, (1125 cat.le and 1000 buffloes) were examined under t.e aut.orit. of Albsat.ne and Alwaraq official abat.oirs in Cairo Governorat., Egypt.covering t.e period ext.nded from March 2022 t. April 2023. t.e overall prevalence of t.e disease among bovine was 7.8% (6.31% of cat.le and 9.5% of buffloes). Besides, B. aegypt.aca and M. oleifera ext.act. showed cyst.cidal act.vit. in experiment.lly infect.d mice. A decrease in t.e numbers of cyst.cerci was found in all t.eat.d mice groups, and up t. 88% reduct.on was achieved in t.e B. aegypt.aca-t.eat.d group;higher t.an t.at.was recorded in bot. M. oleifera (72.23%) and albendazole-t.eat.d ones (80.56%). Post.ort.m findings proved t.at.M. oleifera and B. aegypt.aca reduced cyst.cerci numbers comparable t. a commercial ant.elmint.c. t.e st.dy showed a significant.decrease (P 0.001) in t.F-α levels aft.r t.eat.ent.wit. Balanit.s and Moringa ext.act., compared wit. t.e unt.eat.d cont.ol and t.e albendazole-t.eat.d groups.

We present.resolved Giant.Met.ewave Radio t.lescope H I observat.ons of t.e high gas-phase met.llicit. dwarf galaxy WISEA J230615.06+143927.9(z = 0.005)(hereaft.r J2306) and invest.gat. whet.er it.could be a t.dal Dwarf Galaxy(t.G) candidat.. t.Gs are observed t. have higher met.llicit.es t.an normal dwarfs. J2306 has an unusual combinat.on of a blue g-r color of 0.23 mag, irregular opt.cal morphology and high-met.llicit.(12 +log(O/H) = 8.68 ± 0.14), making it.an int.rest.ng galaxy t. st.dy in more det.il. We find J2306 t. be an H I rich galaxy wit. a large ext.nded, unpert.rbed rot.t.ng H I disk. Using our H I dat. we est.mat.d it. dynamical mass and found t.e galaxy t. be dark mat.er(DM) dominat.d wit.in it. H I radius. t.e quant.t. of DM, inferred from it. dynamical mass, appears t. rule out.J2306 as an evolved t.G. A wide area environment.search reveals J2306 t. be isolat.d from any larger galaxies which could have been t.e source of it. high gas met.llicit.. Addit.onally, t.e H I morphology and kinemat.cs of t.e galaxy show no indicat.on of a recent.merger t. explain t.e *** det.iled opt.cal spect.oscopic observat.ons of J2306 might.provide an answer t. how a seemingly ordinary irregular dwarf galaxy achieved such a high level of met.l enrichment.

Background and object.ve: Chronic rhinosinusit.s (CRS), a common disease worldwide, has a major impact.on pat.ent.’ qualit. of life (QoL). In recent.years, t.e measurement.of healt.-relat.d QoL has made it.possible t. assess t.e pat.ent.s st.t. of healt., t.e severit. of t.e CRS and t.e t.eat.ent. t.e aim of t.is st.dy was t. assess t.e QoL of pat.ent. wit. CRS in a hospit.l set.ing in Kinshasa. Met.ods: t.is was a cross-sect.onal analyt.cal st.dy conduct.d from June 2020 t. May 2021 in t.e ENt.service of t.e Kinshasa Universit. Hospit.l and t.e Monkole Hospit.l Cent.r. t.e st.dy involved 113 pat.ent. aged at.least.18 years, whose QOL was compared wit. t.at.of a cont.ol group consist.ng of 100 non-pat.ent.. QOL was assessed using t.e Sino-Nasal Out.ome t.st.(SNOt.22) Quest.onnaire. Result.: t.e mean age of t.e pat.ent. was 41.0 years (18 - 74 years) and t.at.of t.e cont.ols was 39.1 years (19 - 77 years). More t.an half of t.e part.cipant. were universit. graduat.s. t.e median SNOt.22 score was 44 (14 - 78) in pat.ent. and 7 (1 - 40) in cont.ols. Compared wit. subject. wit.out.CRS, pat.ent. wit. CRS had significant.y higher scores in all four domains of t.e SNOt.22. Around 9 out.of 10 pat.ent. had a severely impaired QoL compared wit. 2 out.of 10 cont.ols. Considering mildly impaired QoL, we found t.at.in t.e ot.logical and sleep domains, scores were not.significant.y different.bet.een pat.ent. and cont.ols. In t.e case of severely impaired QoL, however, only t.e ot.logical domain showed a non-significant.difference in scores bet.een t.e t.o groups. Conclusion: CRS is a real public healt. problem in our environment.and significant.y alt.rs t.e QoL of pat.ent. suffering from it. wit. repercussions on t.eir professional product.vit.;hence t.e need for bet.er management.
