At.mic and molecular processes relevant.t. t.e volumet.ic recombinat.onphenomena were invest.gat.d in a linear divert.r plasma simulat.r MAP-Ⅱ. Volumet.ic recombinat.onis induced in He plasma by puffing of He or H_2. In t.e He puffing case, t.e reduct.on of t.e ionflux is dominat.d by t.e elect.on-ion recombinat.on. In t.e H_2 puffing case, however, it.isdominat.d by t.e molecule-assist.d recombinat.on (MAR), which is characterized by t.e disappearanceof t.e Helium Rydberg spect.a and by t.e exist.nce of t.e hydrogen negat.ve ions. Current.chievement.and t.e fut.re prospect.are described.

t.ong>Purpose:t.ong> We int.oduce t.e concept.of int.aoperat.ve t.ifect. during laparoscopic part.al nephrect.my (LPN) as t.e simult.neous achievement.of est.mat.d blood loss (EBL) t.me (WIt. t.s and minimal changes of t.e int.aoperat.ve course. t.e st.dy’s aim was t. find preoperat.ve fact.rs t.at.could predict.t.e likelihood of achieving int.aoperat.ve t.ifect. and build a surgical nomogram. t.ong>Met.ods:t.ong> We ret.ospect.vely evaluat.d 122 pat.ent. who underwent.LPN. Preoperat.ve fact.rs like age, sex, body-mass index (BMI), kidney funct.on, t.mor characterist.cs (R.E.N.A.L. score) and Charlson-Comorbidit.-Index (CCI) were recorded. Int.aoperat.ve complicat.on (IOC) was graded according t. t.e Rosent.al classificat.on. R soft.are was used t. find a predict.ng model for achievement.of t.ifect. using preoperat.ve variables and a nomogram was built. t.ong>Result.: t.ong>t.e surgical feat.res include median EBL of 100 ml having 6.5% bleed > 500 ml, median WIt.of 12 minut.s having 7.3% more t.an 20 minut.s. t.ere was recorded a 12.3% IOC wit. a mean Rosent.al’s grade of 0.2. Int.aoperat.ve t.ifect. was achieved in 105 pat.ent. (86%) and t.ree preoperat.ve fact.rs were chosen for t.e predict.ve model: BMI (p = 0.041), CCI (p = 0.037) and RENAL score (p = 0.002). A nomogram was generat.d and t.e ROC-AUC of t.e model was 75.8%. t.ong>Conclusion:t.ong> We have defined an int.aoperat.ve t.ifect. concept.as t.e achievement.of EBL t.t.s and minimal changes of t.e int.aoperat.ve course. A nomogram was developed from preoperat.ve fact.rs like BMI, CCI and R.E.N.A.L. score. It.can be used t. est.mat. t.e probabilit. of t.ifect. achievement.in pat.ent. t.eat.d wit. LPN.

AIM:t.e effect. of vit.min D3 have been invest.gat.d on various t.mors, including colorect.l cancer (CRC). 25-hydroxyvit.min-D3-24-hydroxylase (CYP24A1), t.e enzyme t.at.inact.vat.s t.e act.ve vit.min D3 met.bolit. 1,25-dihydroxyvit.min D3 (1,25-D3), is considered t. be t.e main enzyme determining t.e biological halflife of 1,25-D3. During colorect.l carcinogenesis, t.e expression and concent.at.on of CYP24A1 increases significant.y, suggest.ng t.at.t.is phenomenon could be responsible for t.e proposed efficacy of 1,25-D3 in t.e t.eat.ent.of CRC. t.e aim of t.is st.dy was t. invest.gat. t.e ant.-t.mor effect. of vit.min D3 on t.e human CRC cell line Caco-2 after inhibit.on of t.e cyt.chrome P450 component.of CYP24A1 act.vit.. MEt.ODS:We examined t.e expression of CYP24A1 mRNA and t.e effect. of 1,25-D3 on t.e cell line Caco-2 after inhibit.on of CYP24A1. Cell viabilit. and proliferat.on were determined by means of sulforhodamine-B st.ining and bromodeoxyuridine incorporat.on, respect.vely, while cyt.t.xicit. was est.mat.d via t.e lact.t. dehydrogenase cont.nt.of t.e cell cult.re supernat.nt. CYP24A1 expression was measured by realt.me reverse t.anscript.on polymerase chain react.on. A number of t.t.alone compounds were synt.esized t. invest.gat. t.eir CP24A1 inhibit.ry act.vit.. RESULt.:In response t. 1,25-D3, CYP24A1 mRNA expression was enhanced significant.y, in a t.me- and dose-dependent.manner. Caco-2 cell viabilit. and proliferat.on were not.influenced by t.e administ.at.on of 1,25-D3 alone, but.were markedly reduced by coadminist.at.on of 1,25-D3 and KD-35, a CYP24A1-inhibit.ng t.t.alone. Our dat. suggest.t.at.t.e mechanism of act.on of co-administered KD-35 and 1,25-D3 does not.involve a direct.cyt.t.xic effect. but.rat.er t.e inhibit.on of cell proliferat.on. CONCLUSION:t.ese findings demonst.at. t.at.t.e select.ve inhibit.on of CYP24A1 by compounds such as KD-35 may be a new approach for enhancement.of t.e ant.-t.mor effect.of 1,25-D3 on CRC.
