Backgroun. an. object.ve: Chron.c rhin.sin.sit.s (CRS), a common.disease worldwide, has a major impact.on.pat.en.0}’ qualit. of life (QoL). In.recen.0}years, t.e measuremen.0}of healt.-relat.d QoL has made it.possible t. assess t.e pat.en.0}s st.t. of healt., t.e severit. of t.e CRS an. t.e t.eat.en.0} t.e aim of t.is st.dy was t. assess t.e QoL of pat.en.0} wit. CRS in.a hospit.l set.in. in.Kin.hasa. Met.ods: t.is was a cross-sect.on.l an.lyt.cal st.dy con.uct.d from Jun. 2020 t. May 2021 in.t.e En.0}service of t.e Kin.hasa Un.versit. Hospit.l an. t.e Mon.ole Hospit.l Cen.0}r. t.e st.dy in.olved 113 pat.en.0} aged at.least.18 years, whose QOL was compared wit. t.at.of a con.0}ol group con.ist.n. of 100 n.n.pat.en.0}. QOL was assessed usin. t.e Sin.-n.sal Out.ome t.st.(Sn.t.22) Quest.on.aire. Result.: t.e mean.age of t.e pat.en.0} was 41.0 years (18 - 74 years) an. t.at.of t.e con.0}ols was 39.1 years (19 - 77 years). More t.an.half of t.e part.cipan.0} were un.versit. graduat.s. t.e median.Sn.t.22 score was 44 (14 - 78) in.pat.en.0} an. 7 (1 - 40) in.con.0}ols. Compared wit. subject. wit.out.CRS, pat.en.0} wit. CRS had sign.fican.0}y higher scores in.all four domain. of t.e Sn.t.22. Aroun. 9 out.of 10 pat.en.0} had a severely impaired QoL compared wit. 2 out.of 10 con.0}ols. Con.iderin. mildly impaired QoL, we foun. t.at.in.t.e ot.logical an. sleep domain., scores were n.t.sign.fican.0}y differen.0}bet.een.pat.en.0} an. con.0}ols.
