this paper examines the transport analysis, including both heat transfer and mass transfer, in hybrid nanofluid flow containing gyrotactic microorganisms towards a curved oscillatory surface. the influence of magnetic fields is also inspected in terms of their physical characteristics. to depict the phenomena of transport, modified versions of both Fick's and Fourier's laws are used. Additionally, the characteristics of both heterogeneous and homogeneous chemical reactions are also incorporated. Utilizing a curvilinear coordinate system, the flow problem is formulated as partial differential equations(PDEs)for momentum, concentration, microorganism field, and energy. An analytical solution to the obtained flow equations is achieved utilizing the homotopy analysis method(HAM).the effects of significant flow parameters on the pressure and microorganism fields, velocity, oscillation velocity, concentration, and temperature distributions are shown via graphs. Furthermore, the variations in skin friction, mass transfer rate, heat transfer rate, and local motile number due to different involved parameters are presented in tables and are analyzed in detail. Graphical results indicate that the curves of velocity and temperature fields are enhanced as the values of the solid volume fraction variables *** is also verified that the concentration rate field decreases as the values of the homogeneous reaction strength parameter and the radius of curvature parameter increase, and it increases with the Schmidt number and the heterogeneous reaction strength *** outcomes show a favorable response of the motile number to advanced values of the Peclet number, the Schmidt number, the microorganism difference parameter, and the bio-convective Lewis number.

the incidence of goiter in two villages of Shijiu Commune situated along the sea coast was 31.3 and 41.7%, and the average urine iodine excretion was 1,423.0 and 2,097.0 μg/g creatinine, respectively. their average iodine contents in drinking water were 35.5 and 26.0 μg/L, respectively. Because the inhabitants in the villages consumed large quantities of kelp salt and its pickled vegetables, we believed that goiter was caused by excessive intake of iodine. the other two villages in taole Commune had similar geographical conditions as Shijiu Commune did, but their inhabitants took iodine deficient common table salt. their goiter incidence was 6.7% and 8.0%, respectively. Goiter in these villages is considered as mild iodine excess goiter. the goiter incidence in Mazhao Commune of a hilly region 15 kilometers away from the sea, and in Huangdun Commune of a mountainous region 30 kilometers away from the sea, was 29.4% and 23.5%, respectively. the average urine iodine excretion was low (46.5 and 23.96 μg/g creatinine); it was associated with the low iodine content of drinking water (1.5 and 0.65 μg/L). the inhabitants in both regions were all peasants consuming iodine deficient table salt. therefore, goiter in the latter two communes is considered as the common iodine deficient goiter.

Several promising plasma biomarker proteins,such as amyloid-β(Aβ),tau,neurofilament light chain,and glial fibrillary acidic protein,are widely used for the diagnosis of neurodegenerative ***,little is known about the long-term stability of these biomarker proteins in plasma samples stored at-80°*** aimed to explore how storage time would affect the diagnostic accuracy of these biomarkers using a large *** samples from 229 cognitively unimpaired individuals,encompassing healthy controls and those experiencing subjective cognitive decline,as well as 99 patients with cognitive impairment,comprising those with mild cognitive impairment and dementia,were acquired from the Sino Longitudinal Study on Cognitive Decline *** samples were stored at-80°C for up to 6 years before being used in this *** results showed that plasma levels of Aβ42,Aβ40,neurofilament light chain,and glial fibrillary acidic protein were not significantly correlated with sample storage ***,the level of total tau showed a negative correlation with sample storage ***,in individuals without cognitive impairment,plasma levels of total protein and tau phosphorylated protein threonine 181(p-tau181)also showed a negative correlation with sample storage *** was not observed in individuals with cognitive ***,we speculate that the diagnostic accuracy of plasma p-tau181 and the p-tau181 to total tau ratio may be influenced by sample storage ***,caution is advised when using these plasma biomarkers for the identification of neurodegenerative diseases,such as Alzheimer's ***,in cohort studies,it is important to consider the impact of storage time on the overall results.

An effective single layered finite element （FE） computational model is proposed to predict the structural behavior of lightweight sandwich panels having two dimensional （2D） prismatic or three dimensional （3D） truss cores. three different types of cellular core topology are considered： pyramidal truss core （3D）, Kagome truss core （3D） and corrugated core （2D）, representing three kinds of material anisotropy： orthotropic, monoclinic and general anisotropic. A homogenization technique is developed to obtain the homogenized macroscopic stiffness properties of the cellular core. In comparison with the results obtained by using detailed FE model, the single layered computational model can give acceptable predictions for both the static and dynamic behaviors of orthotropic truss core sandwich panels. However, for non-orthotropic 3D truss cores, the predictions are not so well. For both static and dynamic behaviors of a 2D corrugated core sandwich panel, the predictions derived by the single layered computational model is generally acceptable when the size of the unit cell varies within a certain range, with the predictions for moderately strong or strong corrugated cores more accurate than those for weak cores.

Catalyst–support interaction plays a crucial role in improving the catalytic activity of oxygen evolution reaction(OER).Here we modulate the catalyst–support interaction in polyaniline-supported Ni_(3)Fe oxide(Ni_(3)Fe oxide/PANI)with a robust hetero-interface,which significantly improves oxygen evolution activities with an overpotential of 270 mV at 10 mA cm^(-2)and specific activity of 2.08 mA cm_(ECSA)^(-2)at overpotential of 300 mV,3.84-fold that of Ni_(3)Fe *** is revealed that the catalyst–support interaction between Ni_(3)Fe oxide and PANI support enhances the Ni–O covalency via the interfacial Ni–N bond,thus promoting the charge and mass transfer on Ni_(3)Fe *** the excellent activity and stability,rechargeable zn-air batteries with optimum Ni_(3)Fe oxide/PANI are assembled,delivering a low charge voltage of 1.95 V to cycle for 400 h at 10 mA cm^(-2).the regulation of the effect of catalyst–support interaction on catalytic activity provides new possibilities for the future design of highly efficient OER catalysts.

A mesoporous activated carbon (AC) can be successfully prepared by catalytic activation with carbon dioxide. For iron oxide as catalyst, there were two regions of mesopore size distribution, i.e. 2-5nm and 30-70nm. When copper oxide or magnesium oxide coexisted with iron oxide as composite catalyst, the content of pores with sizes of 2-5nm was decreased, while the pores with 30-70nm were increased significantly. For comparison, AC reactivated by carbon dioxide directly was also investigated. It was shown that the size of mesopores of the resulting AC concentrated in 2-5nm with less volume. the adsorption of Congo red was tested to evaluate the property of the result-ing AC. Furthermore, the factors affecting pore size distribution and the possibility of mesopore formation were discussed.

Based on the relief of interfacial energy density by dislocation generation at the gamma - gamma ' interfaces, a rafting prediction criterion has been developed for nickel-base single crystals under multiaxial stresses. the diagrams of rafting have been presented, and confirmed by experimental results. the rafting process have been analyzed quantitatively by the relief of interfacial energy. the criterion has been applied to study the creep behavior. the example of creep life analysis shows that the criterion can be correlated greatly to the crystallographic orientation dependence of creep behavior. We study phase behaviors of mixtures comprising active particles with and without active reorientation by varying mixing *** observe that the order parameter characterizing flocking in the steady state exhibits a linear decrease with an increase in mixing *** the order parameter characterizing clustering in the steady state presents a sharp leap as the mixing ratio ***,we obtain phase diagrams of flocking under different mixing ratios and observe that the domain corresponding to flocking experiences a contraction with the increase of mixing ***,the coordinates of the critical point on the phase boundary between the flocking and the disordered phase decay exponentially with the mixing ratio.
