Objective:to assess the in-vitro antihacterial activity and anti-inflammatory activity of orally administered different extracts(Hydro-alcoholic,methanolic,ethyl acetate and hexane)of Rauvolfia tetraphylla(***)root bark in Carrageetiaii induced acute inflammation in ***:In-vitro antibacterial activity was evaluated for extracts against four Gram positive and four Gram negative bacteria by using cylinder plate ***-alcoholic extract(70%v/v ethanol)at 200,400 and 800 mg/kg doses and methanolic,ethyl acetate and hexane extracts at doses 100,200 and 400 mg/kg were tested for anti-inflammatory activity in Carrageenan induced rat paw oedema model and paw thickness was measured every one hour up to 6 ***:All extracts of *** root bark showed good zone of inhibition against tested bacterial *** Carrageenan induced inflammation model,hydro-alcoholic and methanolic extract of *** root bark at three different doses produced significant(Ption when compared to vehicle treated control group and hexane,ethyl acetate ***:In the present study extracts of *** root bark shows good in-vitro antibacterial activity and in-vivo anti-inflammatory activity in rats.

Millets are widely recognized for their nutritional significance;however, the methods employed for their processing are currently lacking. this article primarily focuses on the advanced technologies and progressions in millet dehulling and polishing. these technologies operate based on the fundamental principles of compression-shearing, abrasion-friction, and centrifugal-impact forces. Processing of millets can be challenging because of the physical characteristics and tight attachment of hull and bran to the endosperm. However, several dehullers have been designed to solve this problem for different kinds of millets. In addition, the nutritional and anti-nutritional characteristics undergo alterations due to both dehulling and polishing processes. these alterations are thoroughly examined and discussed in this article. Specifically, anti-nutrients such as tannins and phytate are predominantly found in the outer pericarp of the grain and experience a reduction after undergoing dehulling and polishing. the nutritional properties are also subjected to a reduction;however, this reduction can be mitigated by subjecting the grains to certain pretreatments before dehulling and polishing. these treatments serve to enhance dehulling efficiency and nutrient digestibility while simultaneously reducing the presence of anti-nutrients. Novel thermal and non-thermal methodologies such as microwave, hydrothermal, high-pressure processing, and ohmic heating can be employed for processing millets, thereby diminishing the loss of nutrients. Additional research can be carried out to investigate their impact on the dehulling and polishing of millets.

Pearl millet(Pennisetum glaucum)is one of the major millets with high nutritional *** crop exhibits exceptional resilience to drought and high ***,the processing of pearl millet poses a significant challenge due to its high lipid content,enzyme activity,and presence of ***,it becomes imperative to enhance the quality and prolong the shelf life of pearl millet flour by employing suitable *** treatment in the food industry has long been seen as promising due to its potential to reduce microbial load,inactivate enzymes,and improve nutrient *** study aims to investigate the effects of hydrothermal treatment on the quality characteristics of pearl *** independent variables of the study were soaking temperature(35,45,55℃),soaking time(2,3,4 h),and steaming time(5,10,15 min).treatment conditions had a statistically significant effect on nutrient *** antinutrients like tannins and phytates were reduced by 0.99% to 5.94% and 0.36% to 6.00%,respectively,after the *** activity decreased significantly up to 10% with the treatment *** findings of this study could potentially encourage the use of pearl millet flour in the production of various food items and promote the application of hydrothermal treatment in the field of food processing.

the denoising of microseismic signals is a prerequisite for subsequent analysis and *** this research,a new microseismic signal denoising algorithm called the Black Widow Optimization Algorithm(BWOA)optimized VariationalMode Decomposition(VMD)jointWavelet threshold Denoising(WtD)algorithm(BVW)is *** BVW algorithm integrates VMD and WtD,both of which are optimized by ***,this algorithm utilizes VMD to decompose the microseismic signal to be denoised into several Band-Limited IntrinsicMode Functions(BLIMFs).Subsequently,these BLIMFs whose correlation coefficients with the microseismic signal to be denoised are higher than a threshold are selected as the effective mode functions,and the effective mode functions are denoised using WtD to filter out the residual low-and intermediate-frequency ***,the denoised microseismic signal is obtained through *** ideal values of VMD parameters and WtD parameters are acquired by searching with BWOA to achieve the best VMD decomposition performance and solve the problem of relying on experience and requiring a large workload in the application of the WtD *** outcomes of simulated experiments indicate that this algorithm is capable of achieving good denoising performance under noise of different intensities,and the denoising performance is significantly better than the commonly used VMD and Empirical Mode Decomposition(EMD)*** BVW algorithm is more efficient in filtering noise,the waveform after denoising is smoother,the amplitude of the waveform is the closest to the original signal,and the signal-to-noise ratio(SNR)and the root mean square error after denoising are more *** case based on Fankou Lead-Zinc Mine shows that for microseismic signals with different intensities of noise monitored on-site,compared with VMD and EMD,the BVW algorithm ismore efficient in filtering noise,and the SNR after denoising is higher.

Broadband electromagnetic(EM)wave absorption materials play an important role in military stealth and health ***,metal–organic frameworks(MOFs)-derived magnetic-carbon CoNiM@C(M=Cu,Zn,Fe,Mn)microspheres are fabricated,which exhibit flower-like nano–microstructure with tunable EM response *** on the MOFs-derived CoNi@C microsphere,the adjacent third element is introduced into magnetic CoNi alloy to enhance EM wave absorption *** term of broadband absorption,the order of efficient absorption bandwidth(EAB)value is Mn>Fe=Zn>Cu in the CoNiM@C ***,MOFs-derived flower-like CoNiMn@C microspheres hold outstanding broadband absorption and the EAB can reach up to 5.8 GHz(covering 12.2–18 GHz at 2.0 mm thickness).Besides,off-axis electron holography and computational simulations are applied to elucidate the inherent dielectric dissipation and magnetic *** heterointerfaces in CoNiMn@C promote the aggregation of the negative/positive charges at the contacting region,forming interfacial *** graphitized carbon layer catalyzed by the magnetic CoNiMn core offered the electron mobility path,boosting the conductive *** importantly,magnetic coupling is observed in the CoNiMn@C to strengthen the magnetic responding *** study provides a new guide to build broadband EM absorption by regulating the ternary magnetic alloy.

An advanced spectral diagnostic system was developed to measure the electron temperature(t_(e)),electron density(N_(e)),and ion temperature(t_(i))of the Huazhong University of Science and technology field-reversed configuration *** system consists of an optic fiber spectrometer with a wide spectral band and a 670 mm focal length high throughout Czerny-turner monochromator equipped with both a 3600 g mm^(-1)grating and a 2400 g mm^(-1)grating to measure the line *** these components is an electronmultiplying charge-coupled device camera to capture spectral *** relative intensity of the optical fiber spectrometer was calibrated using a standard luminance source,and the wavelength calibration of the spectrometer was accomplished using a Hg/Ar *** diagnostic setup was configured to measure electron density based on the Stark effect of H_γ(n=5→n=2;434.04 nm).Doppler broadening of an OⅢ(2s^(2)2p(^(2)P^(0))3p→2s^(2)2p(^(2)P^(0))3s;375.988 nm)emission line was measured and analyzed to obtain the ion temperature,and electron temperatures were estimated from the relative strength of H_(β)(n=4→n=2;486.14 nm)(D_(β))and H_(γ)(D_(γ))spectral lines when the electron density was obtained from Stark effect *** initial experimental results indicate that the highest electron temperature of the formation region was approximately 8 eV,the electron density of the colliding-and-merging region was approaching 10^(20)m^(-3),and the ion temperature reached about 40 eV.

Insufficient therapeutic strategies for acute kidney injury(AKI)necessitate precision therapy targeting its *** study reveals the new mechanism of the marine-derived anti-AKI agent,piericidin glycoside S14,targeting peroxiredoxin 1(PRDX1).By binding to Cys83 of PRDX1 and augmenting its peroxidase activity,S14 alleviates kidney injury efficiently in Prdx1-overexpression(Prdx1-OE)***,S14 also increases PRDX1 nuclear translocation and directly activates the Nrf2/HO-1/NQO1 pathway to inhibit ROS *** to the limited druggability of S14 with low bioavailability(2.6%)and poor renal distribution,a pH-sensitive kidney-targeting dodecanaminechitosan nanoparticle system is constructed to load S14 for precise treatment of AKI.L-Serine conjugation to chitosan imparts specificity to kidney injury molecule-1(Kim-1)-overexpressed *** developed S14-nanodrug exhibits higher therapeutic efficiency by improving the in vivo behavior of S14 *** encapsulation with micelles,the AUC_(0-t),half-life time,and renal distribution of S14 increase 2.5-,1.8-,and 3.1-fold,*** main factors contributing to the improved druggability of S14 nanodrugs include the lower metabolic elimination rate and UDPglycosyltransferase(UGt)-mediated *** summary,this study identifies a new therapeutic target for the marine-derived anti-AKI agent while enhancing its ADME properties and druggability through nanotechnology,thereby driving advancements in marine drug development for AKI.
