Although with the continuous development of sequencing technology,the number of genome and protein sequences has grown rapidly,these sequences are only a small part of ***,it is still a challenging and important problem to detect and predict some new genome or protein sequences based on real sequence data,which motivates us to solve the problem *** first step to predict the new sequences is determining the nucleotide or amino acid composition of *** this paper,we apply natural vector method and convex hull principle to determine the nucleotide or amino acid composition of new genome or protein *** algorithm is based on optimization *** SARS-CoV-2 genome and protein datasets are used to verify the feasibility of our *** experiments show that our algorithm can detect and predict possible number of each nucleotide or amino acid of genome and protein sequence with respect to the second order natural vectors.

It is well known that one unit of electrical energy saved is equal to more than two units produced. One way of economizing the power is utilization of energy efficient systems at all locations. In the present study, the air conditioning system is analysed and an innovative way is suggested. We use natural low temperature of shallow sub surface (1 - 3 m) of the earth—geothermal cooling system. It is known that majority of the households and the apartment complexes in India have two tanks for water storage. One is the underground water sump and the other is the overhead water tank. In our study, we use these two water storage systems for space cooling during summer and also for heating during winter. the main aim of our paper is air-conditioning of the space in an economic way to save electricity. It is based on a simple idea of transferring the low temperature from underground water sump to the room in the house using water as a mode of transport. Since India is a tropical country located at low latitude, most of the year, the air temperature is high and demands space cooling. However, for a couple of months during severe winter months (Dec.-Jan.) at Ahmedabad, heating of the space is required. For heating the space, we suggest to use the well-known solar water heater. Effective use of heat exchanger is shown through computation, modelling schemes and lab experiment. We recommend geothermal cooling for 10 months in a year and solar hot water system during 2 months of winter. It is observed that the ambient air temperature of 35°C - 40°C in the room can be brought down to 26°C without much consumption of electricity. In a similar manner, the room temperature at night (13°C) during winter in Ahmedabad can be increased to 27°C through circulation of water from solar water heater in the heat exchanger.

Considering the ongoing climate transformations, the appropriate and reliable phenotyping information of plant leaves is quite significant for early detection of disease, yield improvement. In real-life digital agricultural environment, the real-time prediction and identification of living plants leaves has immensely grown in recent years. Hence, cost-effective and automated and timely detection of plans species is vital for sustainable agriculture. this paper presents a novel, non-invasive method aiming to establish a feasible, and viable technique for the precise identification and observation of altering behaviour of plants species at cellular level for four consecutive days by integrating machine learning (ML) and tHz with a swissto12 materials characterization kit (MCK) in the frequency range of 0.75 to 1.1 tHz. For this purpose, measurements observations data of seven various living plants leaves were determined and incorporate three different ML algorithms such as random forest (RF), support vector machine, (SVM), and K-nearest neighbour (KNN). the results demonstrated that RF exhibited higher accuracy of 98.87% followed by KNN and SVM with an accuracy of 94.64% and 89.67%, respectively, for precise detection of different leaves by observing their morphological features. In addition, RF outperformed other classifiers for determination of water-stressed leaves and having an accuracy of 99.42%. It is envisioned that proposed study can be proven beneficial and vital in digital agriculture technology for the timely detection of plants species to significantly help in mitigate yield and economic losses and improve crops quality.

Chern insulators have been generalized to many classical wave systems and thereby lead to many potential applications such as robust waveguides, quantum computation and high-performance lasers. However, the band structure of a material can be either topologically trivial or non-trivial, depending on how the crystal structure is designed. Here, we propose a second Chern crystal in a four-dimensional parameter space by introducing two extra synthetic translation dimensions. Since the topology of the bulk bands in the synthetic translation space is intrinsically non-trivial, our proposed four-dimensional crystal is guaranteed to be topologically non-trivial regardless of the crystal’s detailed configuration. We derive the topologically protected modes on the lower dimensional boundaries of such a crystal via dimension ***, we observe the one-dimensional gapless dislocation modes and confirm their robustness in experiments. Our findings provide novel perspectives on topologically non-trivial crystals and may inspire designs of classical wave devices.

the great success of color ink jet printing in the office segment is based on aqueous inks containing water-soluble dyes as colorants. Recently for quality and cost reasons pigments are also being considered. to make pigment handling as easy as dye handling, a very small pigment particle size is necessary. 100 nanometer-grade pigments turned out to be the optimum. By pigment modifications (particle size, surface polarity, etc.) the desired ink quality (jettability, constant viscosity, brilliant image) can be obtained. Besides office applications, excellent pigment dispersions are also needed for wide format indoor and outdoor printing. For this application different pigment grades are necessary, since very high light and weather fastness are required, too. As an outlook it will also be discussed, to which extent ink jet printing is also attractive for R, G, B (red, green, blue display) LCD color filters.

Influence of vitamin D on liver fibrosis in chronic hepatitis C: A systematic review and meta-analysis of the pooled clinical trials data

AIM to investigate the relationship between vitamin D and liver fibrosis in hepatitis C-monoinfected or hepatitis C virus(HCV)-human immunodeficiency virus(HIV) coinfected patients. MEtHODS Pertinent studies were located by a library literature search in PubM ed/Embase/Cochrane/Scopus/LILACS by two individual reviewers. Inclusion criteria:(1) studies with patients with HCV or co-infected HCV/HIV;(2) studies with patients ≥ 18 years old;(3) studies that evaluated liver fibrosis stage, only based on liver biopsy; and(4) studies that reported serum or plasma 25(OH)D levels. Studies that included pediatric patients, other etiologies of liver disease, or did not use liver biopsy for fibrosis evaluation, or studies with inadequate data were excluded. Estimated measures of association reported in the literature, as well as corresponding measures of uncertainty, were recorded and corresponding odds ratios with 95%CI were included in a meta-analysis. RESULtS the pooled data of this systematic review showed that 9 of the 12 studies correlated advanced liver disease defined as a Metavir value of F3/4 with 25(OH) D level insufficiency. the meta-analysis indicated a significant association across *** Low vitamin D status is common in chronic Hepatitis C patients and is associated with advanced liver fibrosis.

the aim of the research was to develop E-glass/jute fiber reinforced epoxy composites with an addition of Al2O3 and bone powder by using hand layup technique and to compare tribological properties of these composites under similar test conditions. the wear experiments were designed according to taguchi’s (L27) orthogonal array with three control variables such as sliding velocity, filler content and normal load. the results indicated that the normal load for Al2O3 and filler content for bone powder emerged as the significant factors affecting specific wear rate of hybrid composites. An addition of 10 wt% of bone powder or Al2O3 into E-glass/jute fiber reinforced epoxy composites increased the wear resistance considerably, and natural waste bone powder can be used instead of ceramic filler Al2O3 in hybrid composites. After the analysis of control factors, an optimal factor setting has been suggested for specific wear rate and coefficient of friction. Further, the scanning electron microscopy (SEM) images for worn surfaces of hybrid composites were studied. Finally, a confirmation test was carried out to validate the results.

AIM: to determine the optimal method of endoscopic preoperative biliary drainage for malignant distal biliary ***: Multicenter retrospective study was conducted in patients who underwent plastic stent (PS) or nasobiliary catheter (NBC) placement for resectable malignant distal biliary obstruction followed by surgery between January 2010 and March 2012. Procedure-related adverse events, stent/catheter dysfunction (occlusion or migration of PS/NBC, development of cholangitis, or other conditions that required repeat endoscopic biliary intervention), and jaundice resolution (bilirubin level ted. Cumulative incidence of jaundice resolution and dysfunction of PS/NBC were estimated using competing risk analysis. Patient characteristics and preoperative biliary drainage were also evaluated for association with the time to jaundice resolution and PS/NBC dysfunction using competing risk regression ***: In total, 419 patients were included in the study (PS, 253 and NBC, 166). Primary cancers included pancreatic cancer in 194 patients (46%), bile duct cancer in 172 (41%), gallbladder cancer in three (1%), and ampullary cancer in 50 (12%). the median serum total bilirubin was 7.8 mg/dL and 324 patients (77%) had ≥ 3.0 mg/dL. During the median time to surgery of 29 d [interquartile range (IQR), 30-39 d]. PS/NBC dysfunction rate was 35% for PS and 18% for NBC [Subdistribution hazard ratio (SHR) = 4.76; 95%CI: 2.44-10.0, P the pig-tailed tip was a risk factor for PS dysfunction. Jaundice resolution was achieved in 85% of patients and did not depend on the drainage method (PS or NBC).CONCLUSION: PS has insufficient patency for preoperative biliary drainage. Given the drawbacks of external drainage via NBC, an alternative method of internal drainage should be explored.

Electron mass has been considered a fundamental constant of nature that cannot be calculated from other constants such as Planck’s constant ħ and gravitational constant G. In contrast, holographic analysis takes account of the finite amount of information available to describe the universe and specifies electron mass to six significant figures in terms of five fundamental constants: fine structure constant α, ħ, G, cosmological constant Λ, and vacuum fraction ΩΛ of critical density. A holographic analysis accounts for charge conservation, mass quantization, and baryon/antibaryon ratio. A holographic analysis relates electromagnetism and gravitation, specifies electron Compton wavelength in terms of Planck length and cosmological event horizon radius, and has implications for charged Standard Model fermion masses, minimum stellar mass at redshift z, and use of continuum mathematics in a discontinuous universe.
