Nowadays, fat transfer is an accepted technique that has been popularized in clinical practice, during which large volumes of fat are strategically relocated to increase and improve the contour of the body. In the present study, we investigated the histological and morphometric changes after large volumes of fat were grafted within the subcutaneous cellular tissue. An experimental study was designed using four 3-month-old male pigs. One hundred cc of decanted fat tissue was transferred into the right leg. Volume augmentation achieved by auto lipo-injecting within the subcutaneous cellular tissue persisted up to two months. Although there is a reduction in cell number and size, an increased amount of extracellular matrix and the presence of oily cysts and microcalcifications were observed. Conclusion: The volume augmentation, which is achieved by autologous fat transfer in large quantities in subcutaneous cellular tissue, can remain for months.

Antiphospholipid syndrome (APS) is a prothrombotic condition that can affect both the venous circulation and the arterial system. The deep veins of the lower extremities and cerebral blood flow are the most common sites of venous and arterial thrombosis, respectively. Skin ulceration and gangrene may be associated with an active vasculitis in patients with APS. These kinds of ulcers are considered intractable because healing is difficult to achieve. Using steroids as immunesuppressant therapy is still a basic part of managing APS and vasculitis. Nevertheless, in the presence of steroid-induced diabetes mellitus, the priority is to achieve faster wound healing, because of the potential complications that can develop due to metabolic dysfunction and augmented vulnerability to infection. Until recently, there were few reports demonstrating the benefits of the use of adjuvant phosphodiesterase-5 inhibitors like sildenafil citrate in different clinical entities with courses like Raynaud’s phenomenon, scleroderma, and resistance to vasodilator therapy. We present the first report demonstrating the additional benefit of sildenafil citrate for the integration of grafts in a patient with steroid-induced diabetes and APS who had ulcers due to vasculitis resistant to the usual vasodilator therapy.

The Rosaceae family has striking phenotypic diversity and high syntenic *** trifoliata is sister species to the Maleae tribe of apple and~1000 other *** has many putative ancestral features,such as herb/sub-shrub habit,dry fruit-bearing and nine base *** coalescence of ancestral characters in a phylogenetically important species,positions Gillenia as a‘rosetta stone'for translational science within *** present genomic and phenological resources to facilitate the use of Gillenia for this *** Gillenia genome is the fi rst fully annotated chromosome-level assembly with an ancestral genome complement(x=9),and with it we developed an improved model of the Rosaceae ancestral *** and NAC gene family analyses revealed genome dynamics correlated with growth and reproduction and we demonstrate how Gillenia can be a negative control for studying fl eshy fruit development in Rosaceae.
