Human activity detection and recognition is a challenging *** surveillance can benefit greatly by advances in Internet of Things(IoT)and cloud *** intelligence IoT(AIoT)based devices form the basis of a smart *** research presents Intelligent dynamic gesture recognition(IDGR)using a Convolutional neural network(CNN)empowered by edit distance for video *** proposed system has been evaluated using AIoT enabled devices for static and dynamic gestures of Pakistani sign language(PSL).However,the proposed methodology can work efficiently for any type of *** proposed research concludes that deep learning and convolutional neural networks give a most appropriate solution retaining discriminative and dynamic information of the input *** research proposes recognition of dynamic gestures using image recognition of the keyframes based on CNN extracted from the human *** distance is used to find out the label of the word to which those sets of frames belong *** simulation results have shown that at 400 videos per human action,100 epochs,234×234 image size,the accuracy of the system is 90.79%,which is a reasonable accuracy for a relatively small dataset as compared to the previously published techniques.

We study one-and two-soliton solutions for the Cahn–Allen(CA) equation and the Brethorton equation. The CA equation has broad spectrum of applications especially in anti-phase boundary motion and it is used in phase-field *** the Brethorton equation is a model for dispersive wave systems, it is used to find the resonant nonlinear interaction among three linear modes. We use the Hirota bilinear method to obtain one-and two-soliton solutions to the CA equation and the Brethorton equation.

Influence of Cu doping in Magnesium Hydroxide Nanoparticles for Bandgap Engineering

Cu doped Mg(OH)_(2) nanoparticles were synthesized with varying concentrations from 0 to 10%by a chemical synthesis technique of coprecipitation.X-rays diffraction (XRD) of the samples confirms that all the samples acquire the hexagonal crystal *** results indicated the solubility limit of dopant in the host material and the secondary phase of CuO was observed beyond 3%Cu doping in Mg(OH)_(2).The reduction in the size of nanoparticles was observed from 166 to 103 nm for Mg(OH)_(2) and 10% Cu doped Mg(OH)_(2)samples,*** shift in absorption spectra exhibited the systematical enhancement in optical bandgap from 5.25 to 6.085 eV.A good correlation was observed between the bandgap energy and crystallite size of the nanocrystals which confirmed the size induced effect in the *** transformation in the sample morphology was observed from irregular spherical particles to sepals like shapes with increasing the Cu concentration in the host *** energy dispersive X-Ray (EDX) analysis confirmed the purity of mass percentage composition of the elements present in the samples.

Cloud computing is seeking attention as a new computing paradigm to handle operations more efficiently and *** computing uses dynamic resource provisioning and de-provisioning in a virtualized *** load on the cloud data centers is growing day by day due to the rapid growth in cloud computing *** in cloud computing is one of the fundamental properties,and elastic load balancing automatically distributes incoming load to multiple virtual *** work is aimed to introduce efficient resource provisioning and de-provisioning for better load *** this article,a model is proposed in which the fuzzy logic approach is used for load balancing to avoid underload and overload of resources.A Simulator in Matlab is used to test the effectiveness and correctness of the proposed *** simulation results have shown that our proposed intelligent cloud-based load balancing system empowered with fuzzy logic is better than previously published approaches.

The integration of distributed energy resources(DERs) into distribution networks is becoming increasingly important, as it supports the continued adoption of renewable power generation, combined heat and power plants, and storage systems. Nevertheless, inadvertent islanding operation is one of the major protection issues in distribution networks connected to DERs. This study proposes an intelligent islanding detection method(IIDM) using an intrinsic mode function(IMF)feature-based grey wolf optimized artificial neural network(GWO-ANN). In the proposed IIDM, the modal voltage signal is pre-processed by variational mode decomposition followed by Hilbert transform on each IMF to derive highly involved features. Then, the energy and standard deviation of IMFs are employed to train/test the GWO-ANN model for identifying the islanding operations from other non-islanding events. To evaluate the performance of the proposed IIDM, various islanding and non-islanding conditions such as faults, voltage sag, linear and nonlinear load and switching, are considered as the training and testing datasets. Moreover, the proposed IIDM is evaluated under noise conditions for the measured voltage signal. The simulation results demonstrate that the proposed IIDM is capable of differentiating between islanding and non-islanding events without any sensitivity under noise conditions in the test signal.

The distribution transformer is the mainstay of the power *** internal temperature study is desirable for its safe operation in the power *** purpose of the present study is to determine direct comprehensive thermal distribution in the distribution transformers for different loading *** achieve this goal,the temperature distribution in the oil,core,and windings are studied at each *** experimental study is performed with a 10/0.38 kV,10 kVA oil–immersed transformer equipped with forty–two PT100 sensors(PTs)for temperature measurement installed inside during its manufacturing *** possible locations for the hottest spot temperature(HST)are considered that made by finite element analysis(FEA)simulation and losses calculations.A resistive load is made to achieve 80%to 120%loading of the test transformer for this *** temperature is measured in each part of the transformer at all provided loading *** is observed that temperature varies with loading throughout the transformer,and a detailed map of temperature is obtained in the whole test *** these results,the HST stays in the critical section of the primary winding at all loading *** work is helpful to understand the complete internal temperature layout and the location of the HST in distribution transformers.

Puberty is a pivotal biological process that completes sexual maturation to achieve full reproductive *** is a major transformational period of life,whose timing is strongly affected by genetic makeup of the individual,along with various internal and external *** the exact mechanism for initiation of the cascade of molecular events that culminate in puberty is not yet known,the process of pubertal onset involves interaction of numerous complex signaling pathways of hypothalamopituitary-testicular(HPT)*** developed a classification of the mechanisms involved in male puberty that allowed placing many genes into physiological *** include(i)hypothalamic development during embryogenesis,(ii)synaptogenesis where gonadotropin releasing hormone(GnRH)neurons form neuronal connections with suprahypothalamic neurons,(iii)maintenance of neuron homeostasis,(iv)regulation of synthesis and secretion of GnRH,(v)appropriate receptors/proteins on neurons governing GnRH production and release,(vi)signaling molecules activated by the receptors,(vii)the synthesis and release of GnRH,(viii)the production and release of gonadotropins,(ix)testicular development,(x)synthesis and release of steroid hormones from testes,and(xi)the action of steroid hormones in downstream effector *** in components of this system during embryonic development,childhood/adolescence,or adulthood may disrupt/nullify puberty,leading to long-term male infertility and/or *** review provides a list of 598 genes involved in the development of HPT axis and classified according to this ***,this review identifies a subset of 75 genes for which genetic mutations are reported to delay or disrupt male puberty.
