Vegetation Response To Soil And morphological Properties In An Arid Region Alluvial Fan Landscape. Pre-Andes Of San Juan， Argentina

The monte Desert is characterized by a great diversity of landforms created with fluvial， alluvial which the vegetation patterns are related to. The present work has the following objectives: 1: determine whether topographical attributes， surface characteristics， soil properties and vegetation patterns vary between alluvial landforms， and 2: define whether morphometric， soil and surface properties influence vegetation patterns along alluvial landscape. morphometric data were obtained by processing a 5 m digital elevation model. The coverage of rock fra.m.nts， fine sediments and mulch was quantified. Observations and descriptions of the soil profiles were restricted to the uppermost 50 cm. Vegetation properties were calculated using a Point Quadrat method. The relationship between variables was evaluated through multivariate statistical analysis. The main results show the presence of 45 plant species distributed in 19 families， where shrubs are dominant. The wind effect， topographic wetness and dissection of the landscape are limiting factors of diversity. The coverage of superficial rock fra.m.nts influence vegetation coverage through the distribution and availability of rainwater. Furthermore， the different soil textures reveal that the silt content favors an increase in vegetation coverage. The presence of V horizon could condition the installation and development of vegetation in the early stages of growth.

A study of nonlinear age-structured population models

This paper presents a novel analysis for the solution of nonlinear age-structured prob- lem which is of extreme importance in biological sciences. The presented model is very useful but quite complicated. modified variational iteration method （mVIm） coupled with auxiliary parameter is used to cope with the complexity of the model which subse- quently shows better results as compared to some existing results available in literature. Furthermore, an appropriate way is used for the identification of auxiliary parameter by means of residual function. numerical examples are presented for the analysis of the pro- posed algorithm. Graphical results along with the discussions re-confirm the efficiency of proposed algorithm. The work proposes a new algorithm where He＇s polynomials and an auxiliary parameter are merged with correction functional. The suggested scheme is implemented on nonlinear age-structured population models. Graphs are plotted for the residual function that reflects the accuracy and convergence of the presented algorithm.

In this paper, we consider the problem of delay-dependent stability for state estimation of neural networks with two additive time–varying delay components via sampleddata control. By constructing a suitable Lyapunov–Krasovskii functional with triple and four integral terms and by using Jensen's inequality, a new delay-dependent stability criterion is derived in terms of linear matrix inequalities(LmIs) to ensure the asymptotic stability of the equilibrium point of the considered neural networks. Instead of the continuous measurement,the sampled measurement is used to estimate the neuron states, and a sampled-data estimator is constructed. Due to the delay-dependent method, a significant source of conservativeness that could be further reduced lies in the calculation of the time-derivative of the Lyapunov functional. The relationship between the time-varying delay and its upper bound is taken into account when estimating the upper bound of the derivative of Lyapunov functional. As a result, some less conservative stability criteria are established for systems with two successive delay components. Finally, numerical example is given to show the superiority of proposed method.

Development and Optimization of Universal Bone Conduction Hearing Spectacles

Background: non-implantable bone anchored hearing devices (BCHDs) are utilized for patients with conductive or mixed hearing loss who are unsuitable for conventional hearing aids or have unresolved middle ear issues. These devices can be surgically implanted or attached using adhesive plates, dental sticks, elastic headbands, or bone conduction spectacles. Optimal fitting of bone conduction spectacles requires appropriate frame selection and contact pressure in the temporal and mastoid areas. The AnSI S3.6 and DIn En ISO 389-3 standards recommend a contact area of approximately 1.75 cm2 and a maximum force of 5.4 n for effective sound transmission and comfort. methods: This study aimed to evaluate the technical fit and mechanical stability of universal bone conduction hearing spectacles compared to established systems. A Sen-Pressure 02 thin-film sensor connected to an Arduino Uno R3 board measured contact force in the temporal and mastoid areas. Several BCHDs were tested, including the Bruckhoff la belle BC D50/70, radioear B71 headset, radioear B71 elastic headband, Cochlear Baha SoundArc m, and Cochlear Baha elastic headband, on a PVC artificial head, with data analyzed using AnOVA and LSD post hoc tests. Results: The la belle BC D50/70 spectacles showed comparable contact force to established BCHDs, ensuring adequate sound transmission and comfort. Significant differences were observed between the systems, with the radioear B71 headset exhibiting the highest forces. The la belle BC D50/70 had similar forces to the radioear B71 elastic headband. Conclusion: The la belle BC D50/70 universal bone conduction hearing spectacles are a technically equivalent alternative to established BCHDs, maintaining pressure below 5.4 n. Future research should explore the impact of different contact forces on performance and comfort, and the integration of force control in modified spectacles. Inexpensive synthesis of a high-performance Fe3O4-SiO2-TiO2 photocatalyst： magnetic recovery and reuse

A sol-gel technique has been developed for the synthesis of a magnetite-silica-titania （Fe3O4-SiO2-TiO2） tertiary nanocomposite with improved photocatalytic properties based on the use of inexpensive titania and silica precursors. The exceptional photocatalytic activity of the resulting materials was demonstrated by using them to photocatalyze the degradation of methylene blue solution. The best formulation achieved 98% methylene blue degradation. An interesting feature of the present work was the ability to magnetically separate and reuse the catalyst. The efficiency of the catalyst remained high during two reuses. The synthesized nanomaterials were characterized by X-ray diffraction （XRD）, scanning electron microscopy （SEm）, transmission electron micro- scopy （TEm）, Fourier transform infrared （FTIR） spectro- scopy, ultra-violet-visible spectroscopy, diffuse reflectance spectroscopy, and thermogravimetric analysis. XRD ana- lysis revealed the formation of multicrystalline systems of cubic magnetite and anatase titania crystals. SEm and TEm characterization revealed well-developed and homo- geneously dispersed particles of size less than 15 nm. FTIR spectra confirmed the chemical interaction of titania and silica. It was further noticed that the optical properties of the prepared materials were dependent on the relative contents of their constituent metal oxides.

The main aims of the current study are to determine the morphological features of the periglacial landforms(non-sorted step,mud circle,stony earth circle,thufur,and congeliturbation)located on the Ilgaz mountains,examine the physicochemical and mineralogical properties with pedological processes of the soils,and assess of the effects of climatic conditions controlling the development of *** Ilgaz mountains(2587 m a.s.l.),located in the Western Black Sea Region,within the Anatolian mountains,are important in terms of periglacial landforms(mud circles,stony earth circles,thufurs,non-sorted steps,non-sorted stripes,congeliturbation deposits,and block currents).The descriptive statistics of 123 periglacial landforms measured by fieldworks were *** distribution of freezing and thawing in the Ilgaz mountains throughout the year was evaluated,and it was found that freezing takes place between December and march,freezing-thawing takes place in April,may,October and november,and thawing takes place between June and *** to soil properties,organic matter content changes from 1.88%to 12.72%in non-sorted step soils,while it is between 2.03%and 12.24%in stony earth circle *** organic matter is observed to be close to congeliturbation deposits at lower ratios compared to non-sorted steps,stony earth circles and mud *** soil reactions on stony earth circles and non-sorted steps vary between slightly acidic and slightly *** the other hand,soil samples taken from the mud circles are different from those taken from the non-sorted steps and stony earth *** soil reaction is acidic,and pH changes between 4.86 and *** lime content also varies between 2.81%and 32.08%,with an average of 12.02%.The texture properties of soils are dominantly loam and clay loam,as in the non-sorted steps,stony earth circles,and mud *** their mineralogical properties,the XRD study was carried out to determine the primer mineral

There has been lots of interest in exploring the thermodynamic properties at the horizon of a black hole *** has been shown earlier that for different spacetimes,the Einstein field equations at the horizon can be expressed as the first law of black hole *** the idea of foliation,we develop a simpler procedure toobtain such *** considerγ=constant slices,for the Schwarzschild and Reissner-nordstrom black hole *** Einstein field equations for the induced 3-dimensional metrics of the hypersurfaces are expressed in thermodynamic quantities under the virtual displacements of the *** expected,it is found that the field equations of the induced metric corresponding to the horizon can be written as afirst law of black hole *** is to be mentioned here that our procedure is much easier,to obtain such results,as here one has to essentially deal with(n-1)-dimensional induced metric for an n-dimensional spacetime.

Unstructured Oncological Image Cluster Identification Using Improved Unsupervised Clustering Techniques

This paper presents,a new approach of medical Image Pixels Clustering(mIPC),aims to trace the dissimilar patterns over the magnetic Resonance(mR)image through the process of automatically identify the appropriate number of distinct clusters based on different improved unsupervised clustering schemes for enrichment,pattern predication and deeper *** proposed mIPC consists of two stages:clustering and *** the clustering stage,the mIPC automatically identifies the distinct number of dissimilar clusters over the gray scale mR image based on three different improved unsupervised clustering schemes likely improved Limited Agglomerative Clustering(iLIAC),Dynamic Automatic Agglomerative Clustering(DAAC)and Optimum n-means(Onm).In the second stage,the performance of mIPC approach is estimated by measuring Intra intimacy and Intra contrast of each individual cluster in the result of mR image based on proposed validation method namely Shreekum Intra Cluster measure(SICm).Experimental results showthat the mIPC approach is better suited for automatic identification of highly relative dissimilar clusters over the mR cancer images with higher Intra closeness and lower Intra contrast based on improved unsupervised clustering schemes.
